Abstract

BULOG (Indonesian Bureau of Logistics) Regional Division West Java is a state-owned public company that regulates and maintains a supply of rice in order to meet the needs of all Indonesian people. Currently, BULOG distributing rice from one SubDivre warehouse to another SubDivre warehouse (point-to-point system) so shipping costs are higher because the frequency of transportation used is higher and the total distance traveled is higher. To reduce the cost of distribution, we propose consolidation model based on hub and spoke network topology. Hub and spoke system is done by determining which points become the hubs and which points become the spoke. The problem in determining the location of the hub and spoke is known as the hub location problem. In this problem, single allocation p-hub median problem is used. We use AMPL to get the solution. Various number of hubs (5,6,7) are tested and evaluated based on total shipping cost. The number of hubs which gives the minimum total shipping cost is 7. Delivery system using the hub and spoke network model can reduce the total cost of distribution by 13,94%.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the connection between marketing strategy and customer loyalty for GoFood in Bandung. Quantitative techniques are used in this study. Meanwhile, a multiple linear regression analysis approach is used, with calculations performed with the aid of the SPSS version 25.0 application. It may be inferred from the reviewed literature and discussions that the Marketing Mix and Customer Bonding significantly affect the customer loyalty variable. This study's value lies in the fact that it provides new information that can be used to finish the project. and share your thoughts, ideas, and facts with PT. Gojek Indonesia keeps up the high level of service it has always provided and keeps working to increase client happiness and loyalty. This research shows that Customer Bonding and the Marketing Mix together have a substantial impact on customer loyalty at Gofood.

Abstract

Transportation is one thing that is very important and is the highest cost in the supply chain. One way to reduce these costs is to optimize vehicle routes. The Multiple Traveling Salesman Problem (MTSP) and Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem (CVRP) are models that have been extensively researched to optimize vehicle routes. In its development based on actual events in the real world, some priorities must be visited first in optimizing vehicle routes. Several studies on MTSP and CVRP models have been conducted with exact solutions and algorithms. In a real case in the Jakarta City Street Lighting Section, the problem of determining the route in three shifts is a crucial problem that must be resolved to increase worker productivity to improve services. Services in MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) installation and maintenance activities for general street lights and priority is given to light points that require replacement. Because, in this case, the delivery capacity is not taken into account, the priority of the lights visited is random, and the number of street light points is enormous, in this study, we use the MTSP method with priority and solve by a genetic algorithm assisted by the nearest neighbor algorithm. From the resolution of this problem, it was found that the travel time reduction was 32 % for shift 1, 24 % for shift 2, and 23 % for shift 3. Of course, this time reduction will impact worker productivity so that MCB installation can be done faster for all lights and replace a dead lamp.
