Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) To describe the implementation of Deep Learning in the management of Eco Pesantren. (2) To describe and analyse the potential of Eco Pesantren program at PPM Baitussalam Prambnanan. (3) To describe the development of Eco Pesantren at PPM Baitussalam. This research method uses qualitative methods. The research object was carried out at PPM Baitussalam. The target subjects of the research were the head of the Pondok, the principal, the person in charge of the Pondok Kerumahtanggan section, and the students. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was qualitative data analysis of the Miles and Huberman model consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that first, Eco Pesantren is an environment-based pesantren education programme that is in line with the concept of deep learning in involving students in pesantren activities. Second, PPM Baitussalam has potentials that can be developed for the Eco Pesantren program, including the pesantren's business charities (minimarket, canteen, student organisation, catfish farm, vegetable and fruit farm). Third, the potential for developing school culture at PPM Baitussalam can be in the form of integrated waste management. Organic waste in the form of leftover consumption and restaurant waste can be reprocessed into organic catfish feed so as not to produce disturbing waste. Non-organic waste can be utilised as a means for students' economic literacy by creating a system like a waste bank. The use of Smart Cards in the financial transaction activities of students can function like an ATM that will be directly integrated with the Smartsystem at the financial centre of the boarding school. With the management of the Eco Pesantren, it is expected that sustainable environmental management will be created. Keywords: Implementation, Deep Leaning, Eco Pesantren, PPM Baitussalam

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengkaji nilai filosofis ungkapan pager mangkok; (2) mendeskripsikan implementasinya dalam pengelolaan pesantren; dan (3) menganalisis dampak ekonomi, sosial, dan pendidikan terhadap masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus di PPM Baitussalam Prambanan. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan teori struktural fungsional Talcott Parsons. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pager mangkok—yang bermakna memberi manfaat, berbagi, dan menjalin hubungan sosial dengan lingkungan—berfungsi sebagai "pagar pengaman" yang lebih kuat daripada pagar tembok. Nilai ini diimplementasikan dalam bidang ekonomi dengan melibatkan warga lokal sebagai tenaga kerja dan pelaku UMKM dalam kegiatan pesantren. Secara sosial, pesantren menyediakan fasilitas transportasi darurat serta bantuan saat hari besar Islam. Dalam bidang pendidikan, pesantren memberdayakan ustaz, ustazah, dan alumni untuk mengisi kegiatan keagamaan masyarakat. Dampak positifnya antara lain meningkatnya akses pendidikan bagi warga, terwujudnya solidaritas sosial, serta terciptanya keamanan berbasis partisipasi masyarakat. Simpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa filosofi pager mangkok membentuk hubungan timbal balik yang harmonis antara pesantren dan masyarakat.

Abstract

Pembelajaran di tingkat sekolah menengah seringkali dihadapkan pada tantangan signifikan, termasuk kejenuhan siswa dan kurangnya antusiasme belajar, yang dapat menghambat pencapaian hasil belajar optimal. Salah satu akar masalahnya adalah keterbatasan guru dalam mengintegrasikan pengetahuan sosial emosional (PSE) dan mengembangkan kompetensi sosial emosional (KSE) dalam praktik pembelajaran sehari-hari, yang esensial untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang suportif dan menarik. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini berfokus pada upaya memberdayakan guru melalui Kombel (Komunitas Belajar) Puspa Bangsa di SMA N 1 Pundong, dengan judul "Inspirasi Kreativitas Kombel Puspa Bangsa: Penguatan Pengetahuan Sosial Emosional (PSE) dan Kompetensi Sosial Emosional (KSE) dalam Pembelajaran bagi Guru SMA". Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membekali guru dengan pemahaman dan keterampilan PSE serta KSE, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas interaksi di kelas, mengurangi kejenuhan siswa, dan menumbuhkan semangat belajar yang positif. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi asesmen kebutuhan guru, lokakarya intensif, pendampingan implementasi, dan fasilitasi berbagi praktik terbaik di antara anggota Kombel. Luaran yang diharapkan mencakup peningkatan kapasitas guru dalam mengelola emosi dan membangun hubungan positif, serta terciptanya suasana pembelajaran yang lebih inklusif dan memotivasi.

Abstract

This study investigates how well junior high school students in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) comprehend the philosophical and cultural principles that support the region's special autonomy. The 2024 study across four regencies and one city in DIY implemented a quantitative survey using structured questionnaires to gather data from around 200 participants. The study discovered that students show limited understanding of important cultural principles like Hamemayu Hayuning Bawana and Manunggaling Kawula Gusti that form the core of Yogyakarta’s identity. Students generally lacked knowledge about the region's governance since many participants did not recognize key historical and cultural aspects. Students' lack of knowledge provides a threat to traditional values, while modernisation and democratic concepts increase their sway. According to this study, in addition to teaching about local governance, schools ought to integrate Yogyakarta's philosophical underpinnings and historical history through their cultural curricula. The plan proposes community involvement programs to help young people deepen their connection to their cultural roots. Future generations risk losing connection to the region's distinct cultural identity if educational and preservation efforts remain ineffective, thereby threatening Yogyakarta special status.
