Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning facilities and learning motivation on the learning achievement of 2017 Economics Education Department students at Surabaya State University. This research includes the type of associative research with a quantitative approach. Respondents in this study were 172 students from the Economics Education Department, consisting of four study programs, namely PAK, PTN, PE, and PAP. The analysis test used is multiple linear regression test. The results showed that learning facilities and learning motivation had a positive and significant effect simultaneously on student learning achievement based on the statistical F test with a significant value of 0.00, meaning the sig <? (0.05) value, besides learning facilities had a positive and significant effect on achievement student learning partially with a significant value of 0.037 means the value of sig < ? (0.05). Learning motivation also has a positive and significant effect on student learning achievement partially with a significant value of 0.00, meaning the value of sig <? (0.05) so that is rejected and is accepted. The coefficient of determination is based on the Adj R-Square table of 0.324.

Abstract

Education as a place for individual development, improving the quality of life and a symbol of innovative progress requires aspects that are used as measuring tools in creating optimal learning. This research aims to explain the operational management function at SMPT Daarul Muttaqien which consists of three parts, namely operational planning including capacity, location, layout, quality and methods, operational scheduling for setting service schedules and operational control in the form of a monitoring plan in the form of monitoring and controlling. with systems and tools. In this research, the method used is descriptive qualitative with secondary data collection using interview techniques and word-dominant quantitative data analysis by reviewing the collected data, summarizing, categorizing, examining, drawing conclusions and verifying. The results of the research show that Daarul Muttaqien SMPT needs improvements in capacity planning in considering the ratio of the number of students to the number of teachers and the less than optimal room capacity which makes some teachers teach more than one subject. Apart from that, planning methods were felt to be lacking because the foundation's public relations were not optimal in managing school information, resulting in less than optimal management of school social media. However, location planning, layout planning, quality planning, operational scheduling and operational control have gone quite well.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the analysis of the implementation of strategic management in SMPT Daarul Muttaqien through a review of the Strategic Unit Business (SBU) and SWOT analysis. In the application of SBU, Glueck, Hunger and Wheelen theory is used, while SWOT analysis uses Fred R. David matrix theory. In this study, the method used is qualitative descriptive with secondary data collection using observation and interview techniques. The results of the study show that Daarul Muttaqien Integrated Islamic Boarding School Foundation in the SBU analysis is more suitable to use the Combination strategy while still taking advantage of the advantages but must adapt to developments in the world of education. In the SWOT analysis, the management strategy that can be used is Progressive Strategy, namely daring to take advantage of the strengths it has and take the business opportunities it faces.
