Abstract

 The creation of interactive learning activities can be influenced by the availability of media and learning resources as a useful tool in teaching and learning activities. The effectiveness of students' absorption of difficult and complicated learning materials can be achieved with the help of the demonstration tool as a media. The purpose of this research is to produce an earthquake demonstration tool, as a valid learning media for use in the learning process of physics in junior high schools. This development research uses the R & D method which was adapted from Nieveen & Folmer with three-phase, namely: preliminary research, development or prototyping phase, and the formative evaluation within the development stage. The evaluation of the validation of the media uses the instrument of validation of the earthquake demonstration tool with 5 indicators and the assessment of validation of the guidebook with 4 indicators. The results of the design of the media obtained the validation score for the earthquake demonstration tool with a score of 4.5 where a very valid category and the handbook obtained a validation score of 4.4 with a very valid category. Based on the results of this research, an earthquake demonstration tool had been successfully made and a guidebook for its use as a physics science learning media is valid and suitable for use in junior high schools.

Abstract

This study aims to design learning tools based on the Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) model on momentum and implus material for class X SMA and produce learning tools based on the Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) model which are valid on momentum and impulse material. class X high school. This research was conducted at the Physics Education Laboratory, FKIP, University of Riau. The subject of this study was a Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) based physics learning tool which was developed including the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), Student Worksheets (LKPD), and learning achievement tests on momentum and impulse materials for class X SMA. In addition, the test subjects involved in this development research consisted of material experts, namely validators or teams/experts or physics education lecturers who validated SSCS-based science learning tools. The development model used in this study is Research and Development (R&D), with a 4D model. Based on the results of the research data it was concluded that the learning device using the SSCS model for the material on momentum and impulse for class X SMA was declared valid and suitable for use as a learning tool that helps teachers and students understand the material on momentum and impulse and can be used as teaching material in the learning process at school.

Abstract

This study aims to design learning tools based on the ROPES model on the subject of Pressure to Improve Learning Outcomes of Class VIII SMP students and to produce learning tools based on the Ropes model on the material Pressure to Improve Learning Outcomes of Class VIII SMP students. This research was conducted at the Physics Education Laboratory, FKIP, University of Riau. The subject of this study was a physics learning tool based on the ROPES model which was developed including the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), Student Worksheets (LKPD), and learning achievement tests on pressure material for class VIII SMP. In addition, the test subjects involved in this development research consisted of material experts, namely validators or teams/experts or physics education lecturers who validated ROPES-based science learning tools. The development model used in this study is Research and Development (R&D), with a 4D model. Based on the results of the research data, it was concluded that the learning device using the ROPES model in the pressure material for class VIII SMP was declared valid with an overall average score of 3.43 and was stated to be very valid and feasible to use as a learning tool that helps teachers and students improve student learning outcomes class VIII junior high school students on pressure material and can be used as teaching material in the learning process at school.
