Abstract: The purpose of this research was to develop are alternative equipment of electromagnetic induction experiment as physics teaching and learning media, resulting in a viable and valid device used as a media of instruction. The object of this research was an experiment equipment consist of experiment tool and guided book. Data was collected by using assessment sheets of validation that has been given to validators, in which 3 validators were lecturers as expert and 2 validators were physics teachers. The data was analyzed descriptively to find index of validity of experiment equipment. We found that experiment equipment validation was 3,78 with the very high category and experiment guided book with validation was 3,74 with the very high category. Based on the data analysis we have been concluded that an experiment equipment of alternative electromagnetic induction as the media in learning physics at SMA can be said valid with the very high category and feasible to be done trial at school.Keyword: Develop, Eksperiment equitment, Electromagnetic Induction.

The purpose of this study is to test the validity of Book based on Riau traditional cultural with the approach of Physics Concepts. The method of this research is Research and Development. It was conducted in the physics laboratory in physics education program at the university of Riau. Three physics educators to validate this book. The data is analyzed by a descriptive analysis to categorize the average score of the validity of Book based on Riau traditional cultural with the approach of Physics Concepts. Based on the analysis of research data, it is obtained an average score with high category, for all aspects that are rated at sub content , that is Traditional Cane Sugar Production, canoe runway, simple machine, Working Principles Of Traditional Hunting Tools, Physics Principles on Traditional rice process, Phycics concept in Traditional Music Tolls, Physics Concept in Tradisional Games and Phycics concept in Traditional Music Tolls (hit and blow up). It suggests Book based on Riau Traditional cultural with the approach of Physics Concepts valid so that it can be used as a reference for physics lessons

Abstract: this study aims to test the practicality of the device straight motion kinematics experiment as a medium of learning science in junior high school, resulting in a practical device is used as the medium of instruction. The object of this research is a straight motion kinematics experiment consisting of experimental tools and books guides experiments. data collection is done by giving the now practicality to teachers and students, which consists of 3 science teachers and 20 Junior High School students. The data analyzed are descriptive to determine the value of the experiment device of practicality. The results of the analysis of the data obtained are, the assessment of practicality of experimental instruments of straight motion kinematics and experiment manuals are in the high and very high categories. Based on the analysis of the data it can be concluded that the device straight motion kinematics experiment consisting of tools and guidebooks wants a practical and feasible has been used as a medium of learning science of junior high school.Key Words: Practicality, straight motion kinematics, device experiment

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine the practicalities of product resulting from the research design and validation devices alternative electromagnetic induction experiment that has been done before. There are 15 students and 4 teachers from three senior high school in the city of Pekanbaru has been participated in this research. Data analyzed by using desciptif statistic. Data was collected by using the practicality questionnaire, interview protocol, and observation sheet. Based on the data analysis question form (questionnaire) obtained the value of the practicality of experimental device according to the teacher. Experimental tools and guides its use can help facilitate the teacher in the learning process of electromagnetic induction with the acquisition value of the practicality of the product is at high and very high category so device experiment practical used the teacher. From the results of question form (questionnaire) test the practicalities according to student, experimental device given ease in studying electromagnetic induction with the score on categories of high and very high. So the device experimental and guide book also practical used student. The practicality of experimental devices are supported by the results of the interviews and observations of research that given the same description that alternative electromagnetic induction experiment device can facilitate teacher and student in the learning process of electromagnetic induction.Key word : Practicality, alternative experiment device of electromagnetic induction.

The subject of this research was an experiment equipment consist of experiment tool and guided book. Data was collected by using assessment sheets of validation that has been given to validators, in which 3 validators were lecturers as expert and 2 validators were physics teachers. The data was analyzed descriptively to find index of validity of experiment equipment. We found that experiment equipment validation was 3,46 with the very high category and experiment guided book with validation was 3,6 with the very high category. Based on the data analysis we have been concluded that an experiment equipment of dynamics fuid as the media in learning physics at SMA can be said valid with the very high category and feasible to be done trial at school.Keyword: Validation, Experiment equitment, Dynamics Fluid.

 The purpose of this research was to make learning media in a kind of Van de Graaff Generator to explain the static electric concept. The stages of this research were designing, making, and testing the effectiveness of Van de Graaff Generator. The making of Van de Graaff generator used simple devices and materials that have already available in local market, such as steel ball, electric motor, elastic belt, metal brush, and DC power supply. The testing was done qualitatively and semi qualitatively to the contents of the ball by measuring the voltage of the ground-ball. The maximum voltage ball is 942V which was produced from entry voltage on the strengthener series 6V, with the motor voltage 18V. The Van de Graaff generator can be made as learning media because can prove the existence of gathered charges at the ball.

 The creation of interactive learning activities can be influenced by the availability of media and learning resources as a useful tool in teaching and learning activities. The effectiveness of students' absorption of difficult and complicated learning materials can be achieved with the help of the demonstration tool as a media. The purpose of this research is to produce an earthquake demonstration tool, as a valid learning media for use in the learning process of physics in junior high schools. This development research uses the R & D method which was adapted from Nieveen & Folmer with three-phase, namely: preliminary research, development or prototyping phase, and the formative evaluation within the development stage. The evaluation of the validation of the media uses the instrument of validation of the earthquake demonstration tool with 5 indicators and the assessment of validation of the guidebook with 4 indicators. The results of the design of the media obtained the validation score for the earthquake demonstration tool with a score of 4.5 where a very valid category and the handbook obtained a validation score of 4.4 with a very valid category. Based on the results of this research, an earthquake demonstration tool had been successfully made and a guidebook for its use as a physics science learning media is valid and suitable for use in junior high schools.

This study aimed to examine the effectiveness cognitive aspects of learning through the implementation theNHT Quiz-XA grade students at SMAN 12 Pekanbaru on subject matter the electrical circuit and KirchoffLaw in the academic year 2008/2009. The subjects were students of class XA 12 Pekanbaru SMA 2008/2009school year which amounted to 41 students. Data collection instrument is flat assessment of cognitiveachievement test. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques, including aspects relevant to thesubject matter and the characteristic of students. Results of data analysis shows that subject matter masteryof 91.7% with a complete mastery category by category relevance is very high and classical mastery learningstudents is 87.8% with a category of exhaustiveness is finished with high relevance category, learningeffectiveness of students categorized as effective.

This study is aimed at describing psichomotor skill of senior high school student of SMA N 12 Pekanbaru.This study used the Number head together of cooperative learning model. The data collected by psychomotorskill test. The average absorbtion of student is low, the completeness of material is very high and theclassical completeness of student is high.
