Abstract

Medical record is a file that contains records about the patient's identity, examination, treatment, actions and other health services to patients. The speed of obtaining data and processing of data is very much needed in the current technological era. With the development of technology makes people think to be able to work more effectively and efficiently. One of them is making a conventional system into a computerized system. By utilizing website facilities that are connected to the internet, medical records can be more effective and efficient in searching and recording medical history. In this research a web-based information system is designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database using the waterfall method as its research method. With this system, it is expected to be able to overcome the various needs of users to search for patient data and perform data processing as well as facilitate users in making reports. From the results of research and design that has been implemented to produce medical record applications that facilitate the processing of patient data.

Abstract

Institut Tarumanagara adalah Perguruan tinggi yang baru didirikan pada Tahun 2024. Hal ini menyebabkan beberapa aspek institusi seperti pengembangan fasilitas penunjang akademik, termasuk perpustakaan masih memerlukan perhatian. Pengelolaan administrasi dan pelayanan perpustakaan masih dilakukan secara konvensional dan belum didukung oleh sistem informasi berbasis digital. Seiring dengan bertambahnya jumlah mahasiswa dan meningkatnya tingkat kunjungan mereka ke perpustakaan, sistem konvensional yang ada saat ini menunjukkan berbagai kelemahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi perpustakaan di Institut Tarumanagara guna mengatasi kendala operasional yang ada, sehingga diharapkan mampu mendukung efektivitas pelayanan dan mendukung visi institusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas operasional berbasis teknologi. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui beberapa teknik yang relevan dengan tujuan penelitian, meliputi pengumpulan data, analisis, perancangan sistem, dan pengujian. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem informasi perpustakaan berbasis web yang mampu mendukung proses digitalisasi layanan, seperti pencatatan data, peminjaman-pengembalian buku, pembuatan laporan, sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi operasional perpustakaan.

Abstract

This study aims to design a Secretariat Information System with real-time notification features using the Laravel web framework at Tarumanagara University. The research methodology includes primary data collection through interviews and secondary data through literature studies. Data analysis was carried out using a qualitative descriptive approach to identify system requirements based on field findings. The system design utilized the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to represent workflows and system functionalities through various diagrams. The coding process implemented Laravel and MySQL due to their flexibility and compatibility with multiple operating systems and programming languages. System testing was performed using the black box testing method to ensure all functional requirements were met. The results show that the system successfully provides a centralized platform for managing incoming letters, outgoing letters, and dispositions digitally. The real-time notification feature effectively delivers automatic alerts to users, improving responsiveness and reducing delays. Furthermore, the system enables comprehensive tracking of letter statuses, making administrative processes more transparent, efficient, and well-documented.
