Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah tingkat  keefektifan penggunaan  teknik Prep Technique dalam pemahaman cerpen siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 3 Babat Toman  Kabupaten  Musi Banyuasin. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan tingkat keefektifan penggunaan teknik Prep Technique dalam pemahaman cerpen siswa IX SMP Negeri 3 Babat Toman  Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui teknik tes yaitu tes objektif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi uji validitas dan uji raliabilitas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tes siswa diperoleh bahwa “thitung” lebih besar dari “ttabel” jika thitung ≥ maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima jika thitung  ≥ ttabel maka Ha diterima Ho ditolak berdasarkan perhitungan thitung diatas ternyata thitung = 0,953 ≥  ttabel = 0,268 pada taraf signitifikan 99% berarti keefektifan penggunaan teknik Prep Technique dalam pemahaman cerpen siswa IX SMP Negeri 3 Babat Toman  Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin lebih efektif. Kata kunci: pemahaman cerpen, teknik Prep Technique Abstract The problem in this study is how the effectiveness of the use of the Prep Technique technique in understanding short stories of class IX students of SMP Negeri 3 Babat Toman, Musi Banyuasin Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the effectiveness of the use of the Prep Technique technique in understanding the short stories of IX students of SMP Negeri 3 Babat Toman, Musi Banyuasin Regency. The research data was obtained through a test technique that is an objective test. Data analysis techniques used include validity and reliability testing. Based on the results of analysis of student test data obtained that "tcount" is greater than "ttable" if tcount ≥ then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted if tcount ≥ ttable then Ha is accepted Ho is rejected based on the above tcount calculation turns out tcount = 0.953 ≥ ttable = 0.268 at the significance level 99% means the effectiveness of the use of the Prep Technique technique in understanding the short stories of IX students of SMP Negeri 3 Babat Toman, Musi Banyuasin Regency is more effective. Keywords: understanding short stories, Prep Technique techniques

Abstract

This research was motivated by application of the Discovery Learning Model by an English Teacher who teach at tenth grade of SMAN 1 Koto Salak. The researcher wants to know how the teacher applies the discovery Learning Model used in teaching narrative text. Then, this research uses a qualitative method with an autobiography case study that aims to analyze and see from the personal experience of a teacher in delivering learning materials in narrative text. Meanwhile, participant in this study was a teacher who teaches English at tenth grade and has applied the Discovery Learning Model. Data collection was carried out by researcher uses interviews. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the English teacher has implemented the principles of discovery learning Model well, namely the teacher forms students into several groups, the teacher provides opportunities to complete assignments or problems that have been given according to the subject matter, the teacher facilitate students to collect information through books and internet, teachers assist students in gathering information, and ask students to present their findings in front of class. In conclusion, it can be said that Discovery Learning Model applied by English teacher at SMAN 1 Koto Salak is going well.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine 1) the diversity of plants in the Ancol beach area as teaching material to improve learning outcomes in the material on the classification of living creatures for class IX students at SMP Negeri 14 Seluma, 2) the influence of the results of identifying plant diversity in the Ancol beach area, Kec. Semidang Alas Maras District. Seluma as teaching material to improve learning outcomes in the material on the classification of living things for class IX students at SMP Negeri 14 Seluma. This type of research is quantitative correlational research with a quantitative descriptive approach. The research sample of class IX students at SMP Negeri 14 Seluma was 30 people using a total sampling technique. Data collection techniques are observation, tests and documentation. Data analysis used quantitative with the t test. The results of the research showed that the plants on the coast of Ancol, Semidang Alas Maras District, Seluma Regency consisted of 15 types of plants, namely Rhizopora apiculata (fire mangrove), Rhizopora mucronata (ringworm mangrove), Peking grass (Zoysia matrella (L.)Merr), cypress (Casuarina equisetifolia L), horsetail (Ipomea pes caprae), Terminalia catappa L (sea hyacinth), wedelia blifora (Sea chrysanthemum), sea fern (Acrostichum aureum), Cyperus Esculentus (yellow sesame grass ), ketapang (Terminalia catappa L), bitter jukut (Axonopus compressus Swartz), davallia solida (rabbit's foot fern), needle grass (Andropogon aciculatus), coconut (Cocos nucifera), sea pandan (Poaceae and Arecaceae). There is an influence on the results of identifying plant diversity in the coastal area of Ancol District. Semidang Alas Maras District. Seluma as teaching material for improving learning outcomes in the material on the classification of living things for class IX students at SMP Negeri 14 Seluma tcount > ttable 2.03011 and p value 0.000 < 0.05. . Keywords: Diversity, Plants, Teaching Materials, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Halusinasi merupakan tergangguanya persepsi sensori seseorang, dimana tidak ada stimulus. Salah satu tipe halusinasi adalah halusinasi pendengaran (auditory-hearing voices or sounds) dan menjadi tipe halusinasi yang paling banyak diderita. Halusinasi yang tidak ditangani secara baik dapat menimbulkan risiko terhadap keamanan diri pasien sendiri, orang lain dan juga lingkungan sekitar pasien. Salah satu terapi yang dapat dilakukan pada pasien halusinasi adalah Art theraphy atau terapi seni. Art theraphy sendiri dapat diartikan sebagai suatu kegiatan terapeutik yang menggunakan proses kreatif dalam melukis. Melukis bebas bagi pasien halusinasi merupakan bentuk komunikasi dari alam bawah sadarnya, image yang merupakan simbolisasi dari ekspresi bawah sadar pasien bahwa terapi seni membawa perubahan bagi kesehatan mental penderita dan terapi seni ini disebut symbolic speech bahwa kata-kata dapat disalurkan melalui kegiatan melukis sehingga terapi melukis terdapat perbaikan dalam aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik. Tujuan karya ilmiah akhir adalah untuk menganalisis intervensi pemberian terapi menggambar bebas untuk membantu pasien mengontrol halusinasi di ruang Mandau 1 RSJ Tampan Provinsi Riau. Metode penulisan KIAN ini adalah studi kasus dengan quasy eksperiment intervensi terapi menggambar bebas yang dilakukan pada pasien halusinasi. Terapi ini dilakukan secara berulang selama 5 hari dengan pemberian 1 kali sehari. Setelah implementasi terapi menggambar bebas diberikan selama 5 hari didapatkan hasil yaitu terapi ini dapat membantu pasien dalam mengontrol halusinasinya. Kesimpulan terdapat perubahan yang signifikan pada pasien halusinasi setelah diberikan terapi menggambar bebas. Studi kasus ini hanya dilakukan pada pasien halusinasi, diharapkan pada peneliti selanjutnya dapat melakukan studi kasus yang mendalam dan menerapkan metode lain yang lebih efektif untuk mengontrol halusinasi.
