Abstract

In response to the need for effective and interactive evaluation tools in Arabic language learning, this study aims to develop a Quizizz-based evaluation instrument for use at the Madrasah Aliyah level, employing the ADDIE instructional design model. The research involves a comprehensive process including needs analysis, item development aligned with curriculum standards, validation by content and media experts, limited trials with students, and product evaluation. Expert validation indicates a high level of content accuracy and media effectiveness, while feedback from teachers and students confirms the instrument’s practicality and ease of implementation. The results also highlight the application’s advantages in facilitating fast, accurate, and engaging assessments. Although the development faced several challenges, such as limited technological infrastructure and user proficiency, it was supported by strengths including the platform’s user-friendly design, interactive features, and efficiency in generating instant feedback. This study contributes to Arabic language pedagogy by integrating digital innovation into formative assessment practices suitable for faith-based and resource-limited educational environments.

Abstract

This research departs from the need for good Arabic language learning with good methods. One method that can be used is the word square method which provides opportunities for students to build their knowledge more actively and creatively, especially in mufrodat learning. This research is research that uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental type, namely the pretest-posttest design which aims to determine the effect and extent of the influence of the word square method in improving the Arabic mufradat of class VIII students at MTs Ar-Rohmah Bonder, Central Lombok, NTB. Data collection techniques in research using questionnaires and tests then the results of the two instruments were analyzed using the t-test with the help of SPSS, while the steps taken in data analysis were: validity, reliability, questionnaire data analysis, hypothesis testing, analysis of learning outcomes hypothesis testing. Based on the results of data analysis, the researcher found that there was an effect of the word square method in increasing the mufradat of class VIII students of MTs Ar-Rahmah Bonder, Central Lombok, NTB, which indicated that there had been an increase in the average student learning score from 46.00 to 79.60. It is shown in the related table for the sample t that the value of sig. (2-tail) In the data obtained learning outcomes of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, it can be concluded that the hypothesis Ha from research related to learning outcomes can be accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

This research aims to comprehend the utilization of the book "Al-Miftah lil-‘Ulum" in teaching Nahwu science at Darul Falah International School, Bagon Mataram, and to identify obstacles arising in teaching Nahwu science using the book. The research methodology employed is qualitative descriptive, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. Data analysis involves data reduction, presentation, and result verification. The findings reveal that the Nahwu science teaching process with the book "Al-Miftah lil-‘Ulum" includes pre-lesson, core activities, and concluding activities. Challenges encountered encompass students' difficulty in reading writings on the board, specific difficulties in each volume, student boredom, and teacher absenteeism hindering goal achievement. Teacher obstacles include student delays, students not bringing books during teaching, non-repetition of "Al-Miftah lil-‘Ulum" lessons in the dormitory, difficulty understanding students' abilities, classroom management challenges, and difficulty providing motivation. This research supports recommendations to explore the effectiveness of "Al-Miftah lil-‘Ulum" as a Nahwu learning source and evaluate its teaching methods. It is suggested to focus on its impact on students' understanding and strategies to enhance its integration into the official curriculum. The research encourages exploring student responses to the book's use, identifying challenges, and proposing solutions through qualitative and quantitative methods for comprehensive understanding.
