Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to analyze nahwu errors made by undergraduate students of UIN Malang majoring in BSA class ak in reading Arabic texts. The research method used to achieve this goal is descriptive qualitative with Miles and Huberman analysis techniques which include data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion. As for analyzing nahwu errors, the researcher uses three steps, namely identification of errors, description of errors, and interpretation of errors. The results showed several nahwu errors students made when reading Arabic texts: errors in reading talking Idhafy, character maushuf, ataf ma'tuf, and determining fa'il and maf'ul. The error occurred because students still could not apply the theory understood in the reading and some did not understand both theory and practice when reading Arabic texts. After classifying these errors, the researcher found that the most nahwu errors occurred in fa'il and maf'ul. this happens because students are still confused about fa'il mustatir and zahir. Keywords: error, nahwu, reading, Arabic Language AbstrakPenelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan nahwu yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa S1 UIN Malang jurusan BSA kelas ak dalam membaca teks bahasa Arab. metode yang digunakan penelitian untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik analisis miles dan Huberman yang meliputi kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun dalam menganalisis kesalahan nahwu peneliti menggunakan tiga langkah yaitu identifikasi kesalahan, deskripsi kesalahan, dan penafsiran kesalahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa kesalahan nahwu yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa ketika membaca teks bahasa Arab diantaranya: kesalahan dalam membaca tarkib idhafy, sifat maushuf, ataf ma’tuf, dan menentukan fa’il dan maf’ul. kesalahan tersebut terjadi karena mahasiswa masih belum bisa mengaplikasikan teori yang sudah dipahami dalam bacaan dan ada yang masih belum megerti baik teori maupun praktiknya ketika membaca teks bahasa Arab. setelah mengkalisifikasikan kesalahan tersebut, peneliti menemukan bahwa kesalahan nahwu yang paling banyak terjadi pada fa’il dan maf’ul. hal ini terjadi karena mahasiswa masih kebingungan dengan adanya fa’il mustatir dan yang zahir. Kata kunci:  kesalahan, nahwu, membaca, bahasa Arab

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of teacher’s professionalism on student’s interest in Arabic learning of class X MAN 1 Mataram for academic year 2020/2021. The population in this study were students of class X MAN 1 Mataram and the researcher took 45 students from the population to be used as samples in this study. The research approach used is quantitative research because the desired data is in the form of numbers. The researcher used three research instruments for collecting data namely questionnaires, documentation and observation. The data analysis used Pearson product moment correlation and simple regression with the help of SPSS 16.0 software. Based on the results of the correlation analysis, there was a positive and significant relationship with a correlation level of R=67% indicating a strong relationship between the two variables. And as for the results of the regression analysis, the researcher got the value of F arithmetic > F table 37.140> 4.06 with a significance level of 0.00 <0.05 so it can be concluded that there is an effect of teacher professionalism (X) on students' interest in learning Arabic (Y), with the contribution of the effect of teacher’s professionalism (X) on students' interest in learning (Y) is R Square = 45.8%. Therefore, the hypothesis which says "teacher’s professionalism effect on student’s interest in Arabic learning of class X MAN 1 Mataram for academic year 2020/2021 " is accepted

Abstract

This research departs from the need for good Arabic language learning with good methods. One method that can be used is the word square method which provides opportunities for students to build their knowledge more actively and creatively, especially in mufrodat learning. This research is research that uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental type, namely the pretest-posttest design which aims to determine the effect and extent of the influence of the word square method in improving the Arabic mufradat of class VIII students at MTs Ar-Rohmah Bonder, Central Lombok, NTB. Data collection techniques in research using questionnaires and tests then the results of the two instruments were analyzed using the t-test with the help of SPSS, while the steps taken in data analysis were: validity, reliability, questionnaire data analysis, hypothesis testing, analysis of learning outcomes hypothesis testing. Based on the results of data analysis, the researcher found that there was an effect of the word square method in increasing the mufradat of class VIII students of MTs Ar-Rahmah Bonder, Central Lombok, NTB, which indicated that there had been an increase in the average student learning score from 46.00 to 79.60. It is shown in the related table for the sample t that the value of sig. (2-tail) In the data obtained learning outcomes of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, it can be concluded that the hypothesis Ha from research related to learning outcomes can be accepted and H0 is rejected.
