Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas tentang optimalisasi pembelajaran Al Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan yang diintegrasikan dengan literasi digital guna menghadapi tantangan era 4.0 yang dikenal dengan era digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menjelaskan fakta secara obyektif dan ilmiah sesuai keilmuannya. Pembelajaran Al Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan perlu dioptimalkan perannya untuk membina generasi muslim yang menguasai iptek, keterampilan kritis, kolaboratif dengan landasan iman dan taqwa guna menghadapi tantangan era 4.0 melalui integrasi pembelajaran Al Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan dengan literasi digital. Hal tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan media digital dalam proses pembelajaran AIK melalui teks digital, video digital, gamar digital, animasi digital dan Al Qur?an digital yang dapat diakses  dari laptop, tablet, maupun handphone yang sudah banyak digunakan oleh peserta didik dalam kesehariannya. Pembelajaran kontekstual yang memanfaatkan perangkat digital bisa membuat peserta didik lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran sehingga pembelajaran menjadi interaktif dan menyenangkan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam menghadapi tantangan di era 4.0, pembelajaran Al Islam dan Kemuhamamdiyahan perlu mengimbangi kemajuan teknologi melalui optimalisasi pembelajaran AIK yang diintegrasikan dengan literasi digital

Abstract

This article explores the use of innovative strategies in improving literacy culture among class 8B students at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Taman Sidoarjo. The main focus of this research is to apply the TGT (Teams-Games-Tournaments) type cooperative learning model combined with the snakes and ladders game media in learning material about changes in Islamic society. Involving aspects of geography, economics, social and culture, this approach aims to stimulate interest in reading, increase understanding and build students' literacy skills. The research method applied in this research carries a combinative approach between the TGT (Teams-Games-Tournaments) type cooperative learning model and the snakes and ladders game media. The results of observations carried out showed a significant increase in students' active participation during the learning process. Students are more actively involved in group discussions, questions, and given assignments. They are not only recipients of information, but also main actors in their own learning. This increase in participation indicates that TGT's cooperative approach and the snakes and ladders game media are able to create a learning environment that stimulates more intensive student involvement. Evaluation of the impact of this innovative strategy in more detail is measured through assessment tests. Positive results on the test show that the TGT cooperative approach and the snakes and ladders game media have a real impact on students' academic achievement. The conclusion we can draw is that this innovative strategy proves that the use of the TGT cooperative learning model with the snakes and ladders game media can be an effective step in improving literacy culture among students.

Abstract

The Human Circulatory System material has strong relevance to everyday life, and therefore, understanding the factors that influence motivation to learn this material is essential. Therefore, there is a need for innovation in the form of good practice in learning which is important to share so that it can be used as the best reference or inspiration for fellow teachers who experience the same problems as I experienced, so that it has an impact on improving learning in the classroom. The strategy used to achieve the goal is to carry out learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The research results show that the use of media in learning practice is very significant in increasing students' understanding. The students' response to this learning activity was very enthusiastic, because learning was very fun. The media used is very close to students' daily lives so that the material can be easily understood. This can be seen from the results of initial test assessments, attitude assessments, and performance observations. Apart from that, based on the results of student evaluations, with a KKTP of 78 out of 28 students, there are 2 (7%) students who have not achieved the KKTP while 26 (93%) students have achieved the KKTP. In terms of student evaluation, the KKTP data shows satisfactory results. With 78 out of 28 students achieving the KKTP, it can be concluded that the majority of students have achieved the desired competency. Even though there were 2 students who had not yet achieved the KKTP, the overall percentage of students who achieved this competency reached 93%, indicating overall learning success. This evaluation is an indicator that the use of media and the learning approach applied has a positive impact on student competency achievement, as well as increasing students' learning motivation.

Abstract

Learning Indonesian requires a holistic approach to facilitate students' in-depth understanding of the language, culture and communication skills. This article explains efforts to optimize Indonesian language learning for grade 9 junior high school students through the integration of technological content pedagogical knowledge (TPACK) and scientific approaches. Implementation is carried out through a project-based learning (PBL) model on response texts, with the aim of improving the quality of learning and students' literacy skills. This research adopts an experimental research design by integrating two main approaches, namely technological content pedagogical knowledge (TPACK) and a scientific approach, through a project-based learning (PBL) model. This experimental design was chosen to allow evaluation of the impact of combining the two approaches on students' literacy understanding and skills. The results of learning evaluation using the Project Based Learning (PBL) method show very satisfactory achievements. Of the 31 students involved in the research, 26 of them managed to achieve or even exceed the Minimum Completeness (KKM) with a class average score of 95. This indicates that the implementation of PBL has succeeded in having a positive impact on students' understanding of Indonesian language material at this level. 9th grade of junior high school. Based on this, it can be concluded that students who scored above the KKM have exceeded the percentage of 85%, namely 26 students. The successful implementation of TPACK and the scientific approach through PBL in Indonesian language learning depends on the support of all parties, careful planning, appropriate selection, and supporting strategies such as ice breaking.

Abstract

This learning practice is motivated by the need for critical thinking skills in students, an aspect that is increasingly crucial in the 21st century era. The factors that cause this are students' lack of habit in solving analysis questions, especially those in the HOTS category and the low learning outcomes are the learning process itself. Through PBL, it is hoped that this learning practice can make a positive contribution in improving the quality of students' science learning outcomes, especially in facing the challenges of HOTS questions. The method used in this research is a Problem-based learning (PBL) model which requires a series of steps that focus on active and collaborative learning experiences. First of all, the step of orienting students to the problem becomes the starting point in the PBL model, next, the step of organizing students to learn to bring collaborative concepts into PBL, the third step involves guiding investigations, both individually and in groups, the fourth and fifth steps, namely developing and presenting the results of work, as well as analyzing and evaluating the problem solving process, confirms that PBL. The research results prove that there is an increase in posttest results compared to the pretest. This increase can be seen from the increase in the average score of students from 53.25 at pretest to 84.75 and the percentage of student learning completion which was initially 32% to 92%. Apart from that, students felt that they were given space to work in groups and develop an attitude of mutual cooperation which, based on the questionnaire, was 96%. Overall, the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) learning model with the support of modules and electronic Student Worksheets (LKPD) has had a positive impact on science learning at the junior high school level. This research succeeded in improving students' analytical skills regarding ecosystem interactions, significantly improving student learning outcomes, and developing critical thinking skills and collaborative attitudes.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of using anecdotal texts in learning at the Senior High School (SMA) level with a focus on developing elements of knowledge and process skills in students. The research method involves a pre-post test experimental design with a control group and an experimental group. The sample for this research consisted of students from SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Taman who received anecdotal text material. The research variables focus on developing students' knowledge elements and process skills. Anecdotal material is presented through various media, including learning videos, anecdotal images, and audio-visual texts. Students are given student worksheets (LKPD) to support their understanding of anecdotal material. The results of the research show that the use of anecdotal texts in learning is effective in developing students' knowledge elements and skill elements. Students can provide explanations regarding anecdotal material from learning videos, anecdotal images and audio-visual texts. Apart from that, students' involvement in the learning process increases along with the implementation of LKPD which supports their understanding of anecdotal texts. These findings provide an important contribution to the development of learning methods that focus on anecdotal texts at the high school level. The practical implications of this research can be applied in curriculum development and teaching strategies to increase students' understanding and involvement in learning anecdotal texts. Future research could explore additional aspects of the use of anecdotal texts in learning to further deepen understanding of their contribution to the development of students' knowledge and process skills.

Abstract

Student discipline needs to be strengthened to face the challenges of the digital era faced by the millennial generation, especially in facing an era that continues to grow rapidly. This research is expected to produce findings in the form of an illustration of strengthening the discipline of junior high school students in facing the challenges of the digital era through the existence of a disciplinary team named Al Asad (Student Security and Discipline Alliance). This research is an analytical descriptive study so that as much data as possible is obtained using various techniques arranged systematically. The objects in this qualitative study consisted of students in grades 7 to 9, Al Asad administrators, teachers and school principals at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Taman. AL-ASAD is an innovation from the school by involving the active role of peers in strengthening and increasing the discipline of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Taman. Examples of good discipline that should be applied are praying five times a day, not being late for school, attending all ongoing lessons, taking care of school facilities as well as possible, and so on. The conclusion of this study is that AL-ASAD is an effort to strengthen and improve the discipline of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Taman through several positive activities including prayer patrols, guarding the entrance gate and playing an active role in enforcing rules related to Islamic law. Based on input from various parties, there are several improvements that need to be made, including the sorting of punishment in the form of Istighfar, which needs to be reviewed.

Abstract

This research investigates the effectiveness of implementing the Differentiated Learning Approach and the Quizziz platform to enhance the understanding of the fundamentals of photography at the Robbani Singosari Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) level. Challenges in photography learning, such as passive student engagement, an inadequately conducive learning environment, difficulty comprehending the material, monotonous teaching methods, and the incongruity of media with student characteristics, serve as the backdrop for this study. The incorporation of the Differentiated Learning Approach facilitates the adjustment of material to accommodate diverse learning styles, addressing the challenges encountered in the learning process. Additionally, the study centers on the utilization of Quizziz as an evaluative tool, revealing students' positive responses to the engaging and interactive learning experience facilitated by the platform. The research findings underscore the substantial role of the Differentiated Learning Approach in augmenting learning efficacy, particularly in surmounting obstacles to material comprehension and establishing an inclusive learning milieu. The employment of Quizziz as an assessment tool not only validates its effectiveness in gauging student comprehension but also introduces an entertaining and interactive facet that enriches the overall learning experience. This study aligns with prior research affirming the constructive influence of the Differentiated Learning Approach and the amalgamation of online platforms in fostering heightened student interest and engagement. Implications of these findings encompass recommendations for refining learning strategies at the elementary school level, especially within the context of photography education. The integration of the Differentiated Learning Approach and Quizziz is anticipated to make a significant contribution to enhancing student comprehension and cultivating a more gratifying learning experience in the current digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and apply the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Learning Model in the context of making renewable energy-based garden lights in high schools. The main focus of the research is to increase students' learning motivation through practical experience and real projects. Students are actively involved in every stage of making garden lights, from planning to implementation, while utilizing renewable energy sources. The research method used in this research was designed to achieve the objectives and answer the research questions asked. This research uses qualitative and quantitative approaches to gain a comprehensive understanding of the impact of implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Learning Model on making renewable energy-based garden lights. The impact of implementing the Project Based Learning Model of Making Garden Lights Based on Renewable Energy to Increase High School Students' Learning Motivation is to foster students' critical thinking as seen from the responses and answers given by teachers during learning, increasing student activity as seen from students' activities during learning, can raise students' enthusiasm in learning accompanied by media displays of success or failure, media equipped with image and video displays, of the strategies carried out. This can be proven by the results of student learning evaluations above the KKM, student-centred activity design greatly increases student activity during the learning process so that students are motivated to learn. Overall, the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model in making renewable energy-based garden lights has succeeded in increasing high school students' learning motivation. This success is reflected in students' positive responses to learning activities, where they expressed their excitement and satisfaction with the innovative learning approach and renewable energy-based projects. Positive impacts can also be seen from increasing students' critical thinking skills and activeness during the learning process.
