Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis strategi yang diterapkan oleh guru dalam membentuk akhlak siswa melalui metode pembiasaan di Kelas IX SMP IT Lukmanul Hakim Sei Mencirim Deli Serdang. Metode kualitatif digunakan untuk mendapatkan pemahaman mendalam mengenai praktik pembiasaan yang dilakukan oleh guru serta dampaknya terhadap perilaku siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan guru dan siswa sebagai partisipan utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru mengimplementasikan beberapa strategi pembiasaan seperti pembiasaan sholat berjamaah, mengucapkan salam saat bertemu, dan menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekolah. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pembiasaan akhlak yang konsisten menghasilkan perubahan positif pada perilaku siswa, dimana mereka menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kepatuhan, rasa hormat terhadap sesama, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Studi ini merekomendasikan bahwa sekolah harus terus mendukung dan memberikan sumber daya yang memadai bagi guru untuk melanjutkan dan meningkatkan praktik pembiasaan ini, sehingga membantu siswa tidak hanya secara akademis tetapi juga dalam pengembangan karakter mereka.

Abstract

Despite the study of rapid growth of online-based transactions in East Java over the past few years, little is focused on the demand side in which consumer characteristics are crucial in this event. This study aims to analyze the relationship of consumer characteristics on the expansion of online-based transactions in East Java. Panel data consisting of 38 districts/cities in East Java province in the period 2015-2017 is analyzed using the random effects method. The results show that the increase of tertiary education participation has a significant positive effect on digital transactions both for goods/service transaction and the use of banking facilities. In addition, mobile phones ownership also has a significant positive role in improving online transactions for the sale and purchase of goods services through the internet. Share of non-food expenditure has a positive effect on online transactions, especially for financial transactions. On the other hand, the productive age population has a negative significant effect on online buying and selling activities. Health variable insignificantly affects online transactions since the activities of transactions through the internet can be done both in healthy and unhealthy conditions. Likewise with computer ownership that does not significantly affect online transactions because people tend to use mobile phones as the transaction device. Level of expenditure does not affect online transactions because online transactions have become the lifestyle in this digital era. Thus, the internet-based transaction is no longer influenced by economic conditions. Keywords: Transactions, Online, Random Effects, Consumers. JEL: G230, G400, O330

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing Indonesia’s crude palm oil (CPO) exports to the European Union during the 2013–2023 period. The research gap arises because most previous studies focused primarily on price and exchange rate factors without considering the impact of the European Union’s environmental regulations on CPO trade. To address potential endogeneity in world CPO prices, this study employs the Instrumental Variable Two-Stage Least Squares (IV/2SLS) approach, using rapeseed oil prices as an instrument. The independent variables include world CPO prices, the Rupiah–US Dollar exchange rate, the European Union Industrial Production Index (IPI), and the Renewable Energy Directive II (RED II) policy. The results reveal that world CPO prices have a positive and significant effect on Indonesia’s CPO exports to the European Union, while the exchange rate and IPI have no significant impact. Meanwhile, the RED II policy has a significant negative effect, reducing Indonesia’s CPO export value by nearly 98% compared to the period before the policy implementation. This study contributes empirically to the international trade literature by demonstrating that the European Union’s renewable energy policy has transformed into a form of green protectionism. In practical terms, the findings highlight the importance of downstream industry development, export market diversification, and strengthening trade diplomacy as key strategies for Indonesia to adapt to increasingly stringent global environmental regulations.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) constitute a key economic sector with substantial contributions to national growth. Advances in information technology and the internet have brought significant changes to marketing strategies, shifting traditional offline methods toward digital, online-based approaches. This transformation necessitates adaptation to maintain competitiveness in an increasingly dynamic market environment. In Koto Kociak, local MSMEs primarily operate in snack production (e.g., ganepo, rendang, and other cassava-based products) and handicraft sectors such as knitting. The purpose of this community engagement program was to provide outreach and training on the use of digital marketing as a feasible and contextually relevant strategy for MSME marketing enhancement. The methods applied included preliminary observations and interviews to identify participants’ needs, followed by lectures and discussions, as well as demonstrations and hands-on practice in utilizing digital platforms. The results indicated an improvement in participants’ understanding of digital marketing strategies, particularly in leveraging social media and online platforms to expand market reach. Moreover, participants reported that digital marketing offers a cost-effective and accessible means of promoting local products. These findings suggest that digital marketing outreach supports the shift from traditional to digital-based marketing practices among MSMEs. Continued mentoring and collaboration with local government are recommended to ensure sustainable implementation and to strengthen long-term economic outcomes for local communities.
