Abstract

The socialization in this service activity aims to: (1) increase public knowledge of the importance of household waste management (2) to grow and increase public awareness and awareness of disposing of waste in its place (3) so that people know about the financial benefits of inorganic waste management which is good and true. The target audience for PPM activities is 60 housewives in RT 35. The PPM activity method uses the question and answer lecture method, and simulation. The steps for PPM activities are lectures to explain the study of waste, types and classification of waste, waste management and 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle) inorganic waste management, and the impact of waste on personal health and the environment. After that, it was followed by a question and answer session and a simulation of the management of inorganic waste into various recycled creations. The supporting factors for the service activities are the support from the village head, the head of the Damai Village LPM, the Representative of the Waste Bank Team from the Environment Agency, the Head of RT 35, the Chair of the PKK Cadre, and the enthusiasm of the service participants, while the inhibiting factor for the activity is the limited time for the implementation of service activities. Overall service activities can be said to be good and successful, seen from the success of the target number of socialization participants (85%), the achievement of training objectives (80%), the achievement of the planned material targets (90%), and the ability of participants in mastering the material (90% ). Service activities can increase the knowledge of housewives about waste management in order to improve clean and healthy living behavior by empowering them in managing inorganic waste into various recycled creations and new sources of income from the sale of waste to the waste bank.

Abstract

The road sweeper in doing work is very vulnerable with a variety of risks, especially the risk of safety and health such as the risk of hearing loss due to noise, stress, dehydration, getting hit by vehicles, and health disorders due to fatigue, bacterial, impaired respiratory system due to inhaling the smoke of vehicles and dust, or viruses. The purpose of the research is to know the Hazard and risks, to the safety and health of the worker. The research methodology used is a qualitative interface with a cross-sectional design. In conducting identification and risk assessment using Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC), AS/NZS 4360 Standard. The highest risk value (Extreme) is at the hazard of motor vehicles with the risk of being hit by motor vehicles (deceased) 1 (one) category. Total Risk Rating 31 categories with detailed 1 (one) category Extreme, 13 (thirteen) category High, 9 (Nine) Medium category, and category Low as many as 8 (eight) categories.

Abstract

UD XYZ is a food & beverages and health product distribution company, where the work carried out has the risk of workplace accidents as well as other transportation distribution jobs. Moreover, in the lifting process, starting from the supply of material to the delivery process, it requires lifting work. In various jobs, sometimes it takes to move heavy objects from one place to another or to a higher place, which usually requires a tool to perform the removal process, from the tools such as chain block, pulley or using more complex tools that are a crane. The study aims to determine the risk of goods loading and unloading work. The study used a qualitative method with a crossectional approach. Risk identification and analysis using the Job Risk Assessment (JRA) method.A risk event identified by 22 kinds. Risks that have a very high-risk rating (very high) are unspoiled goods and workers crashing vehicles. Category substantially has 3 items that hit workers, fire and workers exposed to fuel vapours. The priority category in the risk assessment is 9 items, while the accepted risk (acceptable) is 10 items.

Abstract

Street sweepers in carrying out their work are very vulnerable to various risks, especially safety and health risks such as the risk of hearing loss due to noise, stress, dehydration, being hit by a vehicle, as well as health problems due to fatigue, bacteria, respiratory system disorders caused by inhaling dust and vehicle fumes. The purpose of the study was to determine the dangers and conduct an assessment of the safety and health risks of workers and to find out the control efforts that have been made to road sweepers. The research methodology used is descriptive qualitative. In conducting risk identification and assessment using the Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) standard AS/NZS 4360 method. The total risk level is 27 categories with details of 7 (seven) Low risk levels, 15 (fifteen) Medium risk levels, and 5 (five) levels of High risk. After controlling for each existing risk using the OHSAS 18001 guidelines, namely elimination, substitution, engineering control, administration, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). After the risk is handled with the hierarchy of control, the assessment is carried out again on the remaining risks of control with the results of the study on 27 risks down to 22 low risks and 5 medium risks. Keywords: Hazard, Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC), Risk.
