Abstract

Etnopedagogy plays a role in the values-based education of culture for teaching and learning in the context of teaching as a cultural activity and the culture of teaching. The values ​​of local wisdom as a source of innovation in the field of culture-based education of local communities through social contacts that are educational-pedagogical to the communicant, namely cognitive (know about something), affective (formation attitude), and conative (behavior, act to do something). The process of attitude change takes place through three stages: attention, understanding, acceptance, the influence of social contact depending on the professionalism of the educator, leads to the three processes through communicative learning.The transformation of society in the direction of modern society needs to begin with the understanding that society as a social system in which structural, cultural, and social processes are the factors that cause change of society with the basic view that education takes place in society, with community resources, and for society facing an era of globalization filled with challenges, competition, and uncertainty, it takes a teacher who has a new paradigm, strategy, and learning model that contains the content of life skills based on the concept of broad based education, which implements Renewal-Train Strategy and Learner Centred Strategy.

Abstract

Apart from being known as the island of a thousand temples, Bali is also known as the island of banten. In the story of Rsi Markandeya's journey, it is explained that if you want to survive in Bali, we must carry out a yadnya ceremony. Yadnya is a sincere sacrifice, which in its division consists of five types of yadnya, namely Dewa Yadnya, Manusa Yadnya, Rsi Yadnya, Pitra Yadnya, and Bhuta Yadnya. Banten suci is one type of offering or ceremony which is a symbol of the divine weapon of nawasanga. The public's understanding of banten suci, both in terms of form and philosophy, is still common. People know more about forms without knowing clearly the meaning or philosophy of the sacred offerings. The method used in this study was an open questionnaire at the end of the presentation by the presenter to find out the understanding of the people of Kutuh Village, Kerambitan District, Tabanan Regency regarding the philosophy of banten suci. The conclusion of this paper is that the people of Kutuh Village, Kerambitan District, Tabanan Regency understand well the things delivered by the presenter, especially on the philosophical values ​​of banten suci.

Abstract

Character education for children in orphanages from a religious education perspective is problematic and challenging. This is because the methods and implementation of character education are different from education in schools. There must be methods and the creation of a conducive atmosphere in implementing character education in orphanages. The main goal is to lead a child to become an adult with noble ethics and morality, which in Indonesian is also known as having noble morals in the midst of this era of globalization.  Solving these problems, this research uses an associative qualitative research approach to consume phenomena and find hypotheses from the objects studied. The data sources are foster parents and also children in orphanages with data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews and document study. Next, data analysis was carried out in two stages: data reduction and presentation and conclusions. The results of this research show that there is a relationship between character education in a Hindu religious perspective in orphanages That's right plays a very important role in shaping the character of the children there. It is clear that the children at the orphanage have experienced a positive character transformation thanks to the Hindu religious education provided in a structured and continuous manner. Character education learning methods in orphanages That's right Of course, the Orphanage's program is sustainable in its educational process, using Hindu religious education methods such as Dharma Vacana, Dharma Tula, Dharma Gita, Dharma Shantih, Dharma Yatra, Dharma Sadhana to help develop good character.
