Abstract

This study was conducted based on observations and interviews with teachers of class V at SDN Panjang 03, class A and B. The teacher used the lecture method combined with discussion, where the results of the discussion were only collected without being discussed further. The results of interviews with teachers and students show that the material that is difficult to understand is about the properties of light. So, we need approaches and learning methods that can support students in understanding the material. Among the approaches that teachers can use is the explicit instruction approach which uses the experimental method. This study is an experimental research using a Quasi Experiment Design. The research population consisted of 50 students of class V SDN Panjang 03, namely class A and B. The statistical analysis used here included independent t-test, simple linear regression testing, and paired sample t-test using SPSS software. Based on the analysis of the data in this study, several important findings were found. First, there are differences in learning between the experimental and control classes. The average learning score of the experimental class was 65.59, while the control class reached 55.33. So, it can be concluded that the use of explicit instructions using filling and packing media has a different impact on students' understanding of concepts. Second, the results of the paired sample t-test showed that there was a significant increase in the students' conceptual understanding abilities using the explicit instruction model using filling and packing media. A significance value of 0.006 > 0.05 proves that there is a significant increase in the results of students' conceptual understanding abilities. Third, simple linear regression testing shows a significance value of 0.034 <0.05 which indicates the use of the explicit instruction model with filling and packing media has a significant effect on students' conceptual understanding skills at Panjang 03 Elementary School. This study concluded that explicit instruction learning using filling and packing media can help students absorb material about the area and volume of geometric shapes.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) creating learning media in the form of electronic modules for students; (2) explaining the feasibility of learning media in the form of electronic modules created based on the opinions of material experts and media experts; (3) revealing the practicality of learning media in the form of electronic modules based on the opinions of educational practitioners/teachers and users/students. This research is development research using the ADDIE development model. The test subjects in this research were classes X AKL1 and X AKL2 at Muhammadiyah Dukun Vocational School. Data was collected through observation and questionnaires. This research uses quantitative descriptive analysis. The data collection instrument used was a verification questionnaire from material expert validators, media expert validators, teachers, and student responses. Development products are assessed for content suitability, presentation suitability, linguistic suitability, and contextual suitability by material expert validators; graphic suitability by media expert validators; and practicality by teachers and students. The results of this research are as follows: (1) The learning media is in the form of electronic modules with the Canva application assisted by Quizzizz in learning outcomes of basic accounting principles and concepts. (2) This electronic module was declared feasible by material experts with a content suitability score of 3.83, presentation suitability 3.75, language suitability 3.82, contextual suitability 3.89, and declared feasible by media experts with a graphic suitability score of 3.62. (3) This electronic module product was declared practical by the teacher with a percentage of 92.3% and practicality for students with a percentage of 94% with very practical criteria.

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) muncul dari adanya berbagai aktifitas perusahaan yang membawa dampak terhadap kualitas hidup manusia baik terjadinya pemanasan global, pencemaran lingkungan, kemiskinan dan penyakit menular yang memunculkan konsep tanggung jawab social bagi perusahaan. Perusahaan dituntut secara sadar tidak hanya mencari profit atau keuntungan semata. Akan tetapi juga harus memperhatikan keberlangsungan social di masyarakat. Implementasi program CSR mempunyai tiga fokus yang disebut 3P atau profit, planet dan people yang artinya, perusahaan yang baik tidak hanya memburu kepentingan ekonomi saja (profit), akan tetapi harus memiliki kepedulian terhadap kelestarian lingkungan (planet) dan kesejahteraan masyarakat (people).
