Abstract

This research is motivated by Baubau City which occupies the second position with the most tourist visits from other cities/districts in Southeast Sulawesi. With the arrival of tourists to Baubau City, it can be a source of income, including from the Retribution for Recreational Attractions. In collecting retribution, there are still problems such as the realization of retribution collection for tourist attractions that are not yet optimal. Therefore, it is necessary to intensify the collection of retribution. The purpose of this study was to find out how to intensify the collection of Retribution for Recreational Attractions in Baubau City, Southeast Sulawesi. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of this study indicate that in the process of Intensifying Levy Collection based on Sutedi's (2008) theory, several aspects cannot be said to be optimal, such as object database processing, no supervision, lack of inspection and service, coordination between relevant regional agencies. Meanwhile, other aspects have been carried out optimally, such as identifying retribution payers, special HR training, and improving administrative efficiency and reducing collection costs.

Abstract

Cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide, including gastrointestinal cancer, which continues to increase in prevalence. One contributing risk factor is long-term alcohol consumption. This study aims to determine the relationship between alcohol consumption and the incidence of gastrointestinal cancer. The study design used a scoping review through four databases, namely ScienceDirect, PubMed, SpringerLink, and Medline. Articles were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, with the screening process following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines. The selected articles were then synthesized using the Guidance for Conducting Systematic Scoping Review (2020) guidelines. A total of seven articles met the criteria. Various types of gastrointestinal cancer related to alcohol consumption were found, including colorectal, esophageal, stomach, and liver cancer, and even breast cancer. Most studies examined current and past patterns of alcohol consumption. Overall, the findings of this study prove that alcohol consumption, whether in the past, present, or cumulative, is associated with an increased incidence of gastrointestinal cancer, especially colorectal cancer.
