Abstract

This research is a research-based e-Module development of the physical and chemical properties of waters that aims to determine the feasibility level and student response to the developed e-Module. This e-module uses the ADDIE development model limited to the development stage. The research was conducted at the Chemistry Education Study Program, University of Bengkulu with the research subjects being 37 students who had taken the Environmental Chemistry course in the 2022/2023 Academic Year. From the research results obtained (1) the level of feasibility of e-Modules in the material aspect was 91.4% while from the media aspect was 91.1%, therefore based on the results of validation by the validator, e-Modules are declared very feasible, (2) based on the results of the student response test, 87.2% are in the very good category. The ability of e-Modules to stimulate students' higher-order thinking skills is stated to be very good based on the results of validation tests and student responses related to the e-Modules developed on aspects of material on stimulus, learning activities, evaluation, and competency tests presented in the e-Modules. From the results obtained, it is known that the e-Module developed is feasible to use and be tested in lectures.

Abstract

This research and development aims to (1) produce an E-Module designed with the Canva Application (2) determine the feasibility and response of students to the E-Module being developed. The resulting product is an E-Module which contains on macronutrient and micronutrient elements in sea water. The development model used is the Borg and Gall development model which has been modified by Sugiyono. This development has 10 stages, but in this case the development is limited to stage 7, namely product revision I. The development stages carried out in this research are potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product testing, and product revision I. This research and development was carried out at Bengkulu University from March to September 2023. The test subjects in this research were students of Chemistry Education Study Program who were taking Marine Chemistry classes for the 2022/2023 academic year and 2023/2024 academic year at Bengkulu University Teacher Training and Education Faculty, totalling 25 people. Data collection was carried out using student needs questionnaires, literature studies, atudent respon questionnaires and product validation sheets. The data obtained are qualitative data in the form of comments and suggestion from validators and respondents, quantitative data in the form of assessment numbers based on a Likert Skala. Quantitative data processing by analyzing product feasibility and analyzing student responses to the E-Module being developed. The result of the media and material validity test respectively were 98,61% and 88,88%. The Student response test result of 84,33%. Based on the results, it was concluded that the E-Module developed was very suitable to use in the classes.

Abstract

The activity "Art for the Heart: Art Therapy as Emotional Empowerment for Children at the Guyub Rukun Orphanage" was implemented as an application of art-based Guidance and Counseling to enhance the emotional well-being of orphanage children. These children often face psychosocial challenges due to the lack of affection and past traumatic experiences. Art therapy was chosen as a method because it allows children to express their emotions freely and creatively through artistic media. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method with a participatory approach through socialization sessions and hands-on practice. The results showed that the children demonstrated high enthusiasm and were able to express their feelings through activities such as drawing, coloring, and collaborative art projects. The program provided a safe space for emotional exploration and also improved social skills, self-confidence, and mutual respect. Furthermore, the activity increased caregivers’ awareness of the importance of creative approaches in supporting children. In conclusion, art therapy is proven to be an effective strategy within Guidance and Counseling to strengthen the emotional capacity of orphaned children and is recommended for sustainable implementation.
