Abstract

Purpose : this research aims to determine the influence of interior design and service quality on interest in returning to Cafe Arabica Central Park Mall. Research Methods : this research is a type of quantitative research and uses a questionnaire as a data collection technique. The sample used was 80 people selected using purposive sampling technique. The analytical method used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, T Test, and F Test. Results and discussion : The results of this study show that there is a significant partial or individual influence between interior design variables and service quality on interest in returning visits. Apart from that, it can also be seen that there is a significant influence between interior design variables and service quality simultaneously on interest in returning to visit. Interior design is related to creating a room or shop atmosphere that can influence and create an image in the mind of a visitor that influences the buyer's emotions, and generates or influences interest in visiting. In addition, the level of visitor satisfaction depends on the quality of service. Service companies really depend on service quality because it will influence visiting interest. Implication : It is hoped that the contents of this research for the Arabica Central Park Mall Cafe can become a reference for assessing consumers' interest in returning to the cafe and also become an input for improving the quality of service and implementing better types of design as time goes by in order to increase the level of interest in returning to visit. towards Arabica Cafe Central Park Mall.

Abstract

munity activities which are dominated by shops, offices and education activities and are directly adjacent to dense residential communities. The volume of vehicles passing through this road is quite dense, such as motorbikes, light vehicles and heavy vehicles, plus side obstacles that disrupt the smooth flow of traffic, especially during peak hours. The method used for this research is the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) method and the main indicator is the degree of saturation (DS). The results of the analysis show that the performance of the Taman - Sepanjang Highway sections (Highway Kalijaten Segment and Ngelom Segment) in existing conditions does not meet the 1997 MKJI feasibility standards. The degree of saturation value for highway Kalijaten is 1.00 and highway Ngelom is 0.87. So both roads need to improve road performance. The alternatives are widening the road, the saturation degree (DS), widening the road and removing side obstacles, become a one-way road. By implementing those alternative, Taman - Sepanjang Highway was expected to meet degree of saturation by MKJI standard.

Abstract

The expansive soils have strong shrinkage capabilities, which negatively damage soil stability. Adding chemicals and gypsum materials is one approach to improving soil qualities. To measure soil parameters before and after mixing with gypsum material, soil analysis requires sieve analysis, Atterberg limits, standard proctors, and direct shear. The tests were carried out on 3 samples of gypsum mix, i.e. (5%, 10%, 15%) and aging of each soil for 10 days, 15 days, 20 days, 25 days. Initial soil characteristics: γd = 1340 g / cm3, shear strength Ø = 76.4 ° dan C = 0.071 kg / cm2, yield point = 69.07% and plasticity index = 45.02%. After adding 15% gypsum with a safe time of 25 days, γd = 1418 g / cm3, high shear Ø = 84.9 ° dan C = 0.441 kg / cm2, yield point = 47.94% and yield index = 11.94%. The stabilized density of the expanding soil influences the shear strength, the 5.6 ° increase in density takes advantage of the strong shear increase of Ø = 11.11% and C = 521.2%.

Abstract

In the case of heavy rain, several places in Surabaya are still submerged. The Keputih Tegal region is one of them. The Jalan Keputih Tegal channel is a tertiary drainage channel that drains into a secondary drainage channel on Jalan Raya Keputih before emptying into the Wonokromo river. The flood on Jalan Keputih Tegal occurred at a depth of 20 cm. The drainage channel on Jalan Keputih Tegal is the subject of this study, and the data utilized are secondary data in the form of rainfall data collected from the Public Works Department of Highways Surabaya and the SDMP (Surabaya Drainage Master Plan) map obtained from BAPPEKO Surabaya. The dimensions of the channel are 1.5 x 1.5 m with a capacity of 0.9 m3/s based on the flood flow from the CA region and the drainage system of the Keputih Tegal channel, which is impacted by the height of the secondary channel MAB. The channel's proportions allow for both flood discharge and backwater discharge. With a flow velocity of 0.4 m/s, the channel slope is planned to be 0.04 percent. This condition exceeds the allowed speed criteria for concrete channels, which are 1.5 m/s.

Abstract

Traffic is a system consisting of several key elements or a headway system. In the median plan, it also has a center opening or U-Turn, but the U-Turn facility does not completely solve these problems and conflicts because the turning vehicle itself does not completely solve them. This is the result of turning in the same direction as vehicles approaching or stopping in high and low-speed lanes. Some vehicles are unable to make smooth U-Turns, causing delays for both traffic directions or vice versa. This study aims to determine the traffic performance and performance of the U-Turn facility on Jl. Dr. Ir. Soekarno in the City of Surabaya using the MKJI methodology, 1997. From the results of this study, the peak hours for the south direction (A) are at 16.45-17.45, volume 3480. 6 vehicles per hour, DS (Degree of saturation)  0.73 with service level C, and south to north (B) at 16:45-17.45, volume 3394. 7 vehicles per hour DS 1.07 means the level of service indicates a long queue. The U-Turn movement has the highest volume at 16.45-17.45, with a volume of 656.8 pcu/hour and an intensity ratio greater than 1.0, indicating a vehicle queue.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine whether product quality and ticket prices have a partial and simultaneous effect on the purchasing decisions of users of the Jakarta-Bandung Whoosh High-Speed Train Research Methods: The research method used is quantitative. Data collection with a questionnaire to 100 respondents who have used the Jakarta-Bandung Whoosh Fast Train The analytical method used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, T Test, and F Test. Results and discussion: The results of this study indicate that product quality and price partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Also, the determinant coefficient test shows that product quality and price have a contribution of 57.9% in influencing purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the other 42.1% are other independent variables that are not included in this study. Implication: Based on this study, it is recommended that PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) ensure that the quality of the products offered aligns with the set prices, or that prices reflect the quality value communicated.

Abstract

The subgrade is the essential part of the construction process, such as access to factories, to develop industrial factory in areas to be developed, one of which in the Gresik area. Not all construction site has met the requirement. Hence, need soil improvement with a combination of preload and stone column. The soil parameters show the results of field and laboratory tests that the area has a small value NSPT with a thickness of the soft bottom layer up to a depth of 20 meters. This research is planned the initial height (Hinitial) to have stability analysis of un-reinforcement embankment, the diameter, and the distance from the stone column with the Xstab program. The results of the calculations carried out for the construction height of the embankment (Hfinal) 3.50 meters, then the first dam (HInitial) of 4.60 m is required. The tilt stabilization is obtained (MR = 168.7 tonm), wherein The Radius of the Slope area is 11.62 meters and the Safety Factor (SF = 0.881), where there is a possibility to slide. Planning preload with a stone column with a diameter of 1.00 meters needs to be combined, a distance of 1.50 meters installed in the subgrade.
