Abstract

Abstract

Abstract The objectives of this research were to explored the English teacher’s pedagogical practices in teaching English to the students and to find how great the influence of the English teacher’s pedagogical practices to the students learning achievement. In addition, this research was conducted through qualitative approach. The data of this research were taken from 7 EFL Teachers of Tinombo District. In collecting the data of this research, the researcher used interview and document analysis instrument to the students. The interviews are aimed at getting information directly about everything that relation with teacher competence and teacher in teaching learning process. Thus, the document analysis are aimed to complete information obtained through interview. Then, after analyzing the data obtained, it was concluded that the EFL teachers’ pedagogical practices of Tinombo district during pandemic Covid 19 as a whole were using teaching methods and strategies that were tailored to the needs and abilities of students, giving various kinds of tests and assignments to students to find out the extent of student understanding, understanding students' conditions by adjusting the teaching and learning process based on the developing situation in this case COVID-19, using media supporting the teaching process, assisting students in developing their potential and creativity, making good communication with students in the classroom, conducting assessments and evaluations using various techniques that are in accordance with learning materials and learning objectives, utilizing information on student learning outcomes as a reference for preparing learning designs , and using applications that support appropriate teaching strategies during the COVID-19 situation. In addition, The main problems of teachers in apply Pedagogical Practices to the Students during Covid 19 Pandemic were the unstable internet network connection in that area and the concentration of students in learning decreases.

Abstract

Corruption is a product of the attitude of life of a group of people who use money as a standard of truth and as absolute power. Corruption has been going on for a long time, since the times of Ancient Egypt, Babylonia, Rome until the Middle Ages and until now. The purpose of this study is to determine the eradication of corruption and law enforcement in terms of the perspective of legal philosophy as a philosophy of implementing positive law in Indonesia. This study is normative legal research with descriptive method which explains that this legal research is carried out using primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials. Philosophy of Law which is the basic foundation of thinking in the application of any applicable legal rules and is considered in many branches of science gets special attention on the enforcement of corruption which should be done in eradicating corruption so that enforcement is not only based on written rules alone in eradicating but the eradication of corruption animates law enforcement in enforcement of corruption, written laws can be regulated, but these rules can be implemented by the implementers so that when the rules apply at the time of a criminal act of corruption, they can be in line with what has been written in the laws and regulations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of adding microencapsulated noni fruit extract (MEBM) to the feed on the feed consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion, and sexual maturity age of Sentul phase developer chickens. The research was conducted from July to September 2023 at the Test Farm of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry Padjadjaran University. The research method used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). There were five types of treatments, namely, P0 = basal ration without the addition of MEBM, P1 = basal ration + 50 mg/kg zinc bacitracin, P2 = basal ration + 75 mg/kg MEBM, P3 = basal ration + 150 mg/kg MEBM, P4 = basal ration + 225 mg/kg MEBM, and repeated four times. The measured variables were feed consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion, and sexual maturity age of Sentul phase developer chickens. The data were analyzed using analysis of variance and the differences in effects were tested using the Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) test with P0 as the negative control and P1 as the positive control. The results of the study showed that the addition of microencapsulated noni fruit extract (MEBM) at levels of 225 mg to the ration providing the best result on body weight gain and feed conversion, but it does not have a significant effect on feed consumption and sexual maturity age of Sentul phase developer chickens. It can be inferred that the addition of MEBM up to 225 mg/kg in the ration can replace the role of AGP zinc bacitracin as an antibiotic.

Abstract

The researched about the correlation level of metal lead (Pb) towards the protein content of mussel shells (Mactra violacea) had been done. This research was taken in the coastal water of Tarakan, North Borneo. The research aimed to know concentration of ion (Pb) and protein content of mussel shells (Mactra violacea) based on the size and location of the different sampling. Afterwards, the lead (Pb) metal and protein were correlated using Least Square method. Analysis of concentration of Pb ion was performed by using AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrofotometry) and analysis of protein content using Kjehdal method. From this research, it was found the concentration of Pb ion on point 1 is by an average of 0.7220 mg/L, on point 2 is by an average of 0.7433 mg/L and point 3 is by an average of 0.9208 mg/L. It is also found the content protein of mussel shells (Mactra violacea) on point 1 is by an average of 19,9883%, on point 2 it was found the average of protein content of 21.7714% and point 3 by an average 22.8664%. The correlation concentration of Ion Pb towards protein conten on kerang kepah (Mactra violacea) symbolized as r = 0.8448.
