Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya persepsi guru tentang profesi guru pendidikan anak usia dini, pendidik anak usia dini yang berasal dari tenaga non kependidikan dan tidak memiliki kualifikasi akademik minimum D-IV atupun S1 kependidikan anak usia dini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan data berupa angka mengenai persepsi guru tentang profesi guru pendidikan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 11 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil bahwa persepsi guru tentang profesi guru pendidikan anak usia dini tergolong kurang baik. hal ini disebabkan latar belakang pendidikan yang dimiliki guru. Guru tidak memiliki kualifikasi akademik yang telah ditetapkan dalam undang-undang guru dan dosen. Kata Kunci : Persepsi Guru, Profesi Guru This research is motivated lack of teachers' perceptions of the teaching profession of early childhood education, early childhood teachers derived from non-educational personnel and do not have the minimum academic qualification D-IV or S1 early childhood education. The purpose of this study was to describe the data in the form of figures on teachers' perceptions of the teaching profession of early childhood education. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods. The sample in this study amounted to 11 people. Data collection techniques used in the form of a questionnaire. Based on the data analysis of the results showed that teachers' perceptions of the profession of early childhood education teachers classified as less good. This is due to the educational background of the teachers possessed. Teachers do not have the academic qualifications stipulated in the laws of teachers and lecturers.
