<![CDATA[Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya persepsi guru tentang profesi guru pendidikan anak usia dini, pendidik anak usia dini yang berasal dari tenaga non kependidikan dan tidak memiliki kualifikasi akademik minimum D-IV atupun S1 kependidikan anak usia dini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan data berupa angka mengenai persepsi guru tentang profesi guru pendidikan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 11 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa angket. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh hasil bahwa persepsi guru tentang profesi guru pendidikan anak usia dini tergolong kurang baik. hal ini disebabkan latar belakang pendidikan yang dimiliki guru. Guru tidak memiliki kualifikasi akademik yang telah ditetapkan dalam undang-undang guru dan dosen.
