Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan bagaimana guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) MAN 2 Agam berkontribusi terhadap pembinaan siswa untuk melakukan salat Zuhur berjamaah. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa siswa terlambat atau tidak hadir dalam salat berjamaah, yang menunjukkan bahwa peran guru PAI harus membantu membimbing dan menyesuaikan siswa. Dalam penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini, beberapa tema penelitian adalah siswa, guru PAI, guru jaga, dan bagian kesiswaan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian, proses reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan model Miles dan Huberman digunakan untuk evaluasi deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI berfungsi sebagai koordinator, afirmator, evaluator, pendidik dan pelatih, motivator, panutan, fasilitator, dan penggerak dalam membangun praktik salat Zuhur berjamaah. Selain mengajar siswa secara teknis, guru-guru ini berusaha untuk menanamkan disiplin, kesadaran beribadah, dan nilai-nilai keagamaan agar salat berjamaah menjadi budaya di madrasah. Singkatnya, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam MAN 2 Agam telah berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam membangun tradisi salat berjamaah. Kata kunci: Guru PAI, pembiasaan salat berjamaah, Pendidikan Agama Islam. Abstract This study examines how MAN 2 Agam's Islamic Religious Education (PAI) instructors contribute to the development of the congregational Zuhur prayer practice. This study was carried out because Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers needed to provide advice and habituation because many students were absent or late for congregational prayers. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) instructors, students, the on-duty teacher, and the academic staff of the school were the research subjects in this study, which employed a descriptive qualitative methodology. The Miles and Huberman model was applied for descriptive analysis, which comprised modifications, presentations, and conclusion drawing, following the collection of data through documentation, observation, and in-depth interviews. The findings demonstrated that instructors of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) had varying responsibilities in helping congregations develop a Zuhur prayer habit. They serve as coordinators, enforcers, educators, trainers, facilitators, activators, and motivators. In addition to offering pupils technical assistance, they also teach them moral principles, discipline, and religious awareness, which leads to a culture of congregational prayer at the madrasah. To put it briefly, the active participation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers is essential to the establishment of the congregational prayer habit salaat MAN 2 Agam.
