Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini betujuan untuk: 1) menentukan ada tidaknya perbedaan sikap ilmiah dan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran inkuiri metode praktikum dengan siswa yang menggunakan model konvensional metode praktikum, 2) mengetahui besarnya pengaruh model inkuiri metode praktikum terhadap sikap ilmiah dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA  SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu dengan rancangan “Nonequivalen Control Group”. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 3. Nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eskperimen sebesar 88,4 lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol yaitu 78,5. Persentase sikap ilmiah kelas eksperimen sebesar 90,67% dan pada kelas kontrol sebesar 62,77%. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah siswa kelas eksperimen dan kontrol dengan nilai p-value=0,000 < 0,05. Perhitungan effect size model inkuiri metode praktikum diperoleh nilai 1,53 untuk hasil belajar dan 1,55 untuk sikap ilmiah dengan kategori tinggi. Kata kunci : model inkuiri metode praktikum, sikap ilmiah, hasil belajar Absract: This research aims to: 1) determine whether there is difference in scientific attitudes and students achievement who were taught using inquiry learning model with a practical method and students who were taught using conventional model with practical method, 2) determine the influence of inquiry model with a practical method to the scientific attitude and student achievement in class XI IPA SMAN 9 Pontianak. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental with "Nonequivalen Control Group” design. The research samples were student of class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 3. The average value of student achievement experimentation grade of 88.4 was higher than the control class that is 78.5. Percentage scientific attitude in the experimental class amounted to 90.67% and the control class amounted to 62.77%. The results of data analysis showed that there are differences in student achievement and scientific attitude student in experimental class and control class with a p-value = 0.000 <0.05. Effect size calculation in inquiry learning model with a practical method value earned was​​ 1.53 for the students achievement and 1.55 for the scientific attitude with high category.
