Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw pada materi pesawat sederhana di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak. Bentuk penelitian ini berupa penelitian tindakan kelas, terdiri dari dua siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 34 siswa. Alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi dan tes uraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar pada siklus I sebesar 72,79 dengan ketuntasan 67,65% dan pada siklus II sebesar 75 dengan ketuntasan 73,52%. Dengan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi pesawat sederhana.   Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw, Materi Pesawat Sederhana. Abstract: This research aims to determine the increase of students learning outcomes  by implementing jigsaw cooperative learning in the material of the simple machine in class VIII SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak. This study was a classroom action research, consisting of two cycles with the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subject of this research were 34 students. The data collection instruments were in the form of observation sheets and essay test. The result showed the average increase in learning outcomes in the first cycle by 72.79 with mastery of 67.65%  and in the second cycle by 75 with mastery of  73.52%. These results indicated that the jigsaw cooperative learning can improve students learning outcomes in the material of simple machine.   Keywords: Learning Outcome, Jigsaw Cooperative Learning, Simple Machine Material.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian umpan balik berbentuk buku saku untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa pada materi tekanan hidrostatik di kelas VIII MTs Nurul Alamiyah Wajok Hilir. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pre experimental design dengan rancangan one group pretest posttest design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 36 orang siswa kelas IX MTs Nurul Alamiyah Wajok Hilir tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive Sampling. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan berupa tes pilihan ganda dengan alasan terbuka yang terdiri dari 6 soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata persentase penurunan jumlah siswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi sebesar 30%. Hasil uji McNemar diperoleh rata-rata χ2Hitung (8,76) ˃ χ2Tabel (3,84) untuk db = 1 dan α = 5% maka secara keseluruhan terjadi perubahan konseptual yang signifikan setelah diremediasi menggunakan umpan balik berbentuk buku saku. Diperoleh hasil hitung effect size yaitu sebesar 2,72 ( berkategori tinggi). Kata kunci: Remediasi, Umpan Balik, Buku Saku, Tekanan    Hidrostatik. Abstract: This study aimed to determine the effect of feedback  shaping pocket book to remediate the students’ misconceptions on the hydrostatic pressure material in the eighth grade students of MTs Nurul Alamiyah Wajok Hilir. The method used was Pre Experimental Design with one group pretest posttest design. The sample used in this research was  the ninth grade students of MTs Nurul Alamiyah Wajok Hilir which consisted 36 students in the academic year of 2016/2017 by using purposive sampling technique. Data collection tool used  was a multiple choice test with open reason consisting of six questions. The results showed the decrease percentage average in the number of students who had misconceptions by 30%. McNemar test results obtained by the average of χ2Arithmetic (8.76) ˃ χ2Table (3.84) for db = 1 and α = 5%, then there was conceptual significant changes after being remediated using the feedback shaping pocket book. The effect size result was 2.72 (high category). The result of this research can be used as an alternative of remediation activities for students who had difficulty learning.
