Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini difokuskan dalam bidang semantik dan pendekatan antropolinguistik, dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kosakata yang terkandung dalam pembuatan sampan Tradisional Melayu Sambas di Kabupaten Sambas. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah informan yang menuturkan BMDS tentang kosakata yang terkandung dalam pembuatan sampan. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah kata-kata yang dituturkan oleh informan mengenai pembuatan sampan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, perekaman, dan pencatatan. Alat pengumpulan data adalah peneliti sebagai instrumen kunci dibantu oleh peralatan seperti instrumen daftar kosakata, kartu data, dan alat perekam. Teknik analisis data yaitu membaca dan mencatat ulang, memberi makna, menganalisis data, penarikan kesimpulan, melaporkan hasil penelitian. Berdasarkan analisis data terdapat 64 leksem kosakata pembuatan sampan. Komponen makna dianalisis berdasarkan 7 sudut pandang komponen makna, dikelompokkan menjadi 2 jenis makna, dan dimaknai dengan peran semantis.   Kata kunci: kosakata, sampan tradisional, antropolinguistik Abstrack: This research focused on the semantics and anthropological approach with the aim to describe the vocabularies in Sambas Malayan Traditional Sampan Manufacturing in Sambas regency. Method applied in this research is descriptive methods by qualitative design. The sources of data in this research is an informant who said BMDS (native sambas Malayan sub-ethnic language) about vocabulary contained in the manufacturing of canoes. The data in this research were the words spoken by the informant about manufacturing of canoe. Data collection technique used interview technique, recording, and write notes. Data collection tools is researcher as a key instrument aided by equipment such as instrument vocabularies , data card, and recorder.Data analysis techniques are read and re-write notes,give meaning, analyzing of data, taking the conclusions, reported the results of research. Based on data analysis contained 64 Leksem vocabularies manufacturing of canoe. Components meaning analyzed by 7 standpoint of meaning component, grouped into two kinds of meaning and interpreted the semantic role.   Keywords: vocabulary(ies), traditional canoe, anthropo-linguistics

Abstract

Pediculosis  capitis  adalah  infeksi  kulit atau rambut kepala dimana yang disebabkan oleh infestasi Pediculus humanus var. capitis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektifitas air perasan  jeruk Citrus limon dan Citrus aurantifolia terhadap mortalitas kutu kepala (Pediculus humanus capitis). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dan mortalitas diamati berdasarkan waktu kematian. Pengujian dilakukan 3 kali pengulangan dengan  2 jenis jeruk yaitu jeruk Citrus limon  dan  Citrus aurantifolia dengan      4 variasi konsentrasi yaitu 25%, 50%, 75% dan 100%. Dilakukan pula pengujian kontrol dengan aquades serta uji pembanding menggunakan pedikulosida kimia dengan kandungan permethrin 1%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, waktu yang paling cepat dibutuhkan untuk membunuh kutu kepala dengan pada air perasan jeruk lemon (Citrus limon) dengan rata-rata selama 2 menit sedangkan pada air perasan jeruk nipis (Citrus aurantifolia) rata-rata 2 menit 15 detik pada konsentrasi 100%.Kata kunci : Pediculus humanus capitis, Citrus, Mortalitas

Abstract

The increasing use of English as a global language over the past few decades has significantly increased its use worldwide, including in Indonesia. Despite its importance, limited research has focused on the role of bilingual education in enhancing student engagement in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classroom. This study aims to explore students' perceptions regarding the impact of the bilingual education program on their cognitive, emotional, and behavioral engagement in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) class at Al Azhar 19 Cibubur Islamic Junior High School. The study employed a qualitative descriptive research approach. Data were collected using questionnaires, involving 60 students from bilingual classes as respondents. The data were then analyzed to determine the extent of engagement in three domains. The findings revealed that the bilingual education program positively influenced students' engagement, with 25% of respondents indicating strong cognitive engagement, 39% demonstrating emotional engagement, and 37% showing behavioral engagement. These results highlight the program's potential in fostering active participation and motivation in EFL learning environments.

Abstract

The seaweed plant (Rhapanus raphanistrum L) has been used as a traditional medicine due to its many pharmacological effects. The tree is known to have benefits for treating fever, typhoid, syphilis, and diarrhea due to its important contents, including saponins, flavonoids, and polyphenols. The aim of this study is to standardize the extracts and make a cream preparation with a type M/A ethanol extract of the Tengger Shell (Rhapanus raphanistrum L), which can stop the development of the fungus Candida albicans. Laboratory experiments are this kind of research. The sample was taken by random sampling to test the resistance to Candida Albicans ATCC 10231. The results of this study showed that the ethanol extract of Tengger Rye (Rhapanus raphanistrum L) was obtained from the dried tengger rye bulbs using a method of maseration with 96% ethanol. The extract is thick, brownish, characteristic smell, and bitter taste, and has chemical content like flavonoids, saponins, and tannins. The resulting randomness was 13.57%. Non-specific parameters resulting from a drying suspension of 2.03%, extract type weight of 0.27%, water content of 3.26%, total ash of 14.28%, and acid insoluble ash of 2.67% meet the established quality standards. Antifungal activity suggests that the preparation of the cream ethanol extract of Tengger (Raphanus raphanistrum L.) has the ability to inhibit the fungus Candida albicans. The average diameter of formula I is 5 mm, formula II is 5mm, formula III is 10mm, and formula IV has a maximum barrier zone of 11mm. The results of research and data analysis showed that the cream ethanol extract of Tengger Shrimp (Raphanus raphanistrum L.) inhibits the fungus Candida albicans.
