Abstract

Abstrak Pembelajaran Membaca Bahasa Melayu dalam Kalangan Pelajar Tamil: Kaedah Gabung Bunyi Kata. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keberkesanan Kaedah Gabung Bunyi Kata (KGBK) dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran membaca dalam bahasa Melayu. Hal ini diharapkan dapat membantu murid yang lemah dalam aspek penguasaan bacaan bahasa Melayu. Penyelidik memberi tumpuan kepada aspek bacaan kerana aspek bacaan merupakan aspek yang paling penting dalam penguasaan bahasa Melayu murid. Penyelidik juga akan menguji kesesuaian Kaedah Gabung Bunyi Kata sebagai satu kaedah yang digunakan dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran membaca bahasa Melayu dalam kalangan murid-muridnya yang terdiri daripada pelajar berbangsa India dan mempelajari bahasa Melayu sebagai bahasa kedua bagi mereka. Selain daripada itu kajian ini dilakukan bagi melihat perkembangan dan prestasi murid setelah mengikuti Kaedah Gabung Bunyi Kata (KGBK) ini. Kajian ini dilakukan di Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil (SJKT) Methodist Kapar di Klang Selangor. Sampel tediri daripada 40 orang  murid tahap 1 yang dipilih berdasarkan tahap kecerdasan mereka. Dapatan kajian diperoleh melalui rekod pencapaian murid yang telah dilakukan selama 6 bulan iaitu dan bulan Mei hingga Oktober. Hasil dapatannya ternyata bahwa Kaedah Gabung Bunyi Kata (KGBK) ini amat sesuai untuk meningkatkan prestasi murid tersebut. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan bahawa 65 peratus bersamaan dengan 26 subjek kajian berjaya menguasai kemahiran membaca dengan lancar dan 35 peratus bersamaan 14 subjek kajian yang masih belum menguasai kemahiran bacaan dengan lancar itu memerlukan tempoh masa yang lebih lama (lebih kurang 3 bulan lagi) untuk mengguasainya.Kata kunci: membaca, bahasa Melayu, kaedah Gabung, bunyi kata AbstractReading of Learning in Malay Language of Indian Student: word sound Combination Ruler. This study aims at analyzing the effectiveness of the Rules for Word Sound Combination (KGBK) in teaching an learning to read in Malay language. It is expected to help students who are weak in the aspect of mastering Malay literature. The researchers focus on reading aspect because the reading aspect is the most important aspect in student’s learning Malay language. The researchers will also test the suitability of KGBK as a method used in the process of teaching and learning to read in the Malay language of the students consisting of Indian students learning Malay language as a second language for them. In addition, this study was conducted to monitor the progress and performance of students after attending KGBK. This study was conducted at the Tamil Nationality School (SJKT) Methodist Kapar in Klang Selangor. The sample consists of 40 students at level I who were selected based on the level of their intelligence. Findings were obtained through the records of student achievement that has been done for six months from the months of May to October. Findings show that KGBK is particularly suitable to enhance the performance of the students. It can be proved that 65 percent which is equal to 26 subjects who have yet to master the skill of reading fluently requires a longer period of time (about 3 months) to master it.Keywords: reading, Malay language, rules for combining, word sound

Abstract

Abstract This study was conducted in Malabae of Marunsu Village, Samalantan District of Bengkayang Regency. The researcher involved two speakers as the informants to collect the data related to the synonyms of nouns in Dayak Kanayatn language of Badamea dialect. This study focuses on determining distinguishing features of meaning from a set of synonymous nouns and their use in the Dayak Kanayatn dialect of Badamea. The method used in conducting this study was descriptive in the form of qualitative research.  The data were collected from the informants in the form of the synonymous nouns of Kanayatn language with the Badamea dialect. The techniques applied to collect the data were interviews, recording, and note-taking. The findings showed several lists of synonymous nouns: (1) pairs of synonymous nouns related to humans  (2) pairs of synonymous nouns related to concrete non-animate nouns and (3) pairs of synonymous nouns related to abstract non-animate nouns. Those pairs of nouns have differences in their usage context, and thus they are only close synonyms. Keywords: Synonymous Nouns, Dayak Kanayatn Language, Badamea dialects

Abstract

AbstractThe objective of this research is to motivated the reader to see the vocabulary development produced by a child in interpreting the vocabulary, word classes, semantic relations produced by 7-year-old children, inflation and contraction of meaning. The method of this research is descriptive method. The form of this research is qualitative. The source of data in this research is 7 years old students of 2B. The data in this research were words, phrases, and sentences produced from 7 years old children. Technique of data collection in this research were tapping technique, able to see and engage listening proficiency, recording technique, note taking technique, and drawing technique. The technique and methods of data analysis in this research were the equivalent method and use marking reading technique. The method and technique of presenting the results of data analysis in this research were formal and informal methods while the data presentation technique used table. Based on the results, it can be concluded that in the vocabulary acquisition, there are 14 groups of lexicon acquisition, 9 word classes, 6 semantic relations, 9 semantic feature classifications, 13 nouns that inflate in meaning and 9 nouns that shrink in meaning.  Keywords: Inflating and Shrinking the meaning, Retviring Vocabulary, Semantics Relations, Word Class.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to describe all the vocabulary of marine of fish and non-fish in the Malay language of Sukadana. The methods used are qualitative and quantitative. The data of the research is a Sukadana Malay language which is spoken by the informant in the village of Sutera, Sukadana subdistrict, North Kayong regency. The techniques of data collection are fishing techniques, proficient techniques, capable of tansemuka capable techniques, recording and record techniques. Based on the overall vocabulary data of marine fauna classification consists of a fish of 79 vocabulary and non-fish as many as 13 vocabulary. The fauna of the sea's vocabulary as a whole has a lexical meaning of 67 and a cultural significance of 92 vocabulary. This research relates to the Curriculum 2013 on Indonesian subjects in the first semester of grade seven in SMP which suggested to be a reference for contextual text material for teaching and learning process. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine whether the teacher has implemented the biography text learning well in accordance with the rules of curriculum 2013. The method used in this research is descriptive method in qualitative form. This research decribing the plans, the implements, and the result of the learning biographical text which implemented by the teacher to the students at Grade X MAN 1 Kota Pontianak, the data sources in this research is Indonesia Language subject teacher and students in MAN 1 Kota Pontianak. The data in this research results from observation APKG 1 and AKPG 2 and the result of the students. Based on the analysis, done it could conclude that planning that has been made by the teacher is good, although in making indicators and purposes there was a mistake. Implementing learning carried out by the teacher is appropriate to the planning although there was a component which not delivered while implement the learning. Evaluation of learning that has been arranged by the teacher is good, although the attitude assessment was not carried out. The suggestion intended for Indonesia language teachers to make learning more interesting and using media which tedious.Key Words: Biographical Text, Learning, Sultan Hamid II

Abstract

Abstract.This thesis is entitled "Implicature Analysis in Adit Sopo Jarwo animated series." This research is motivated so that the reader understands the additional meaning or implied meaning of a speech that is not directly expressed through the vocabulary used, so that the expressions expressed by the speaker are well conveyed to the speech partner. This study aims to describe conventional implicature, types of non-conventional implicature, and learning implementation plan. The method in this research is descriptive method. The form of research used is qualitative research. The source of data in this study is the video documentary series Adit Sopo Jarwo animation. The data in this study are words, phrases and sentences which are conventional and non-conventional implicatures in the Adit Sopo Jarwo animated series. Data collection techniques in this research are documentary studies. Data collection tool in this study is the author as a key instrument. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Based on data analysis, the results obtained are 7 conventional implicature data, 61 non-conventional implantature data which are divided into 37 general conversation implicature data, 11 scale implicator data, and 13 special conversation implicature data, and learning implementation plans in the form of Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) on even VIII semester grade review text material. Keywords: Implicature Analysis, Film Series, Animation Adit Sopo Jarwo

Abstract

 Abstract This study focuses on the terminology of oil pouring rituals in the Sambas Malay community, precisely in Semata Village, Tangaran District. Issues discussed in this study include inventory of terminology in oil pouring rituals, components of meaning, and semantic functions. This study aims to describe the terminology in the Malay oil pouring ritual in Sambas Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive linguistic method with a qualitative form. The source of the data in this study is the Sambas Malay language speech in the form of terminology in the pouring ritual of the Sambas Malay community spoken by several informants. The data in this study are terms about the tools, processes, time, actors, and place of implementation in the oil pouring ritual. The techniques used in this study were interviews and recording. Data collection tools used were interview instruments and voice recording devices. Based on the research conducted, there are 44 terms in the oil pouring ritual consisting of 24 tool terms, 10 process terms, 2 time terms, 6 actor terms, and 2 place terms. These terms as a whole have a lexical meaning and as many as 30 terms contain cultural meanings.Keywords: Terminology, Pouring Oil, Malay Sambas

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated that the community of BMDM speakers in Hilir City, Suka Maju Village, are native speakers. The problems in this research are phonetics in BMDM, phonemic in BMDM, and the forms of learning implementation. The purpose of this study is to describe the phonetic aspects of BMDM, the phonemic aspects of BMDM, and the implementation of learning. The method used is descriptive method in the form of qualitative. data collection tools namely recorder and write. The phonetic aspects of BMDM vocal sounds are six phonemes, the consonant sounds of BMDM are eighteen phonemes, the phonemic aspects of BMDM vocal phonemes are six. Consonant phonemes are seventeen sounds namely /b/, /p/, /t/, /d/, /c/, /k/, /l/, /m/, /g/, /ʔ/, /ɲ/ , /ŋ/, /j/, /y/, /w/, /n/, /s/, and /ɣ/. Vowels and consonants in sound inventory, phoneme verification, phoneme distribution, and phoneme realization are located at the beginning, middle and end of words. Diftong BMDM namely [ai], [oi], [au], and [it]. The BMDM syllable structure is (1) KVK, (2) V-KV, V-KVK, KV-VK, KV-KV, KV-KVV, KV-KVK, KV-KVKV, KVK-KV, AND KVK-KVK, 3) KV-KV-KV, KV-KV-KVK, KVK-KV-KV, KVK-KV-KVK, and KV-KVK-KVK. Abstract

AbstractThis study discusses the use of imperative speech in outdoor media in Sambas Regency. Researchers focus on media advertising space and traffic indicators and tourism. The problem in the thesis is the use of imperative speech in outdoor media in Sambas Regency. The purpose of the study is to describe the types and forms of imperative speeches in outdoor media in the Regency. The method used is descriptive method, a form of qualitative research. Source of outdoor media data in Sambas Regency. Data collection techniques documentation and record techniques. Tools for collecting data are cameras, notebooks and stationery. The results of the study there are five types of imperative utterances, namely eighteen ordinary imperative utterances, ten sentences of request orders, two sentences of granting permission, nine sentences of solicitation commands, and two sentences of instructional orders. The imperative speech form consists of two types namely, formal form and imperative pragmatic form. Two forms of formal existence are active imperative and passive imperative. Researcher's further suggestion is that this research can be a reference and reference for the reader regarding the use of imperative speech. Keywords: Pragmatics, Imperatives, Outdoor Media

Abstract

AbstractThis research deals with the field of morphology, especially regarding verbs in BDBRDP in Jagoi Babang District, Bengkayang Regency. This research is motivated by the ins and outs of word structure and the effect of changes in word structure on word classes and word meanings in the Dayak Bakatik Rara language needs to be known so that what is available can be guarded and preserved until it becomes known by the wider community. This research used descriptive linguistic method with a qualitative form. The source of data in this study was the Dayak Bakatik Rara Paum Dialect Language in Jagoi Babang District in the verbs form of the Dayak Bakatik language. Data collection techniques used refer to see, interview, record and note with a data collection tools in the form of a list of basic verb forms in Indonesian, then translated into the Dayak Bakatik Rara language. Based on data analysis, there were 102 forms of BDBRDP verbs in Jagoi Babang District, Bengkayang Regency. This research successfully collected 95 verbs of BDBRDP in Jagoi Babang District that can be derived based on affixes, suffixes, and confixes. Whereas 7 BDBRDP verbs in Jagoi Babang District could not experience in decrease the verbs.Keywords: BDBRDP in Jagoi Babang District, Verbs
