Abstract

The rapid growth of artificial intelligence technology is significantly impacting various fields, including education. One notable AI tool that can be seamlessly integrated into the learning environment is ChatGPT. This advanced language model has the potential to make learning more interactive and engaging for students by facilitating real-time communication and personalized support. This study aimed to explore teachers' perspectives on using ChatGPT in the classroom. A qualitative research approach was employed, utilizing online questionnaires to gather data from a diverse group of educators. The findings reveal that teachers' opinions on integrating ChatGPT into their teaching practices play a crucial role in shaping the learning process and boosting students' confidence. Many educators noted that ChatGPT's interactive nature helps clarify complex concepts and provides instant feedback, enhancing student understanding and participation. Moreover, the study concludes that ChatGPT's capabilities, such as generating prompts and facilitating discussions, significantly contribute to student engagement. However, this research was limited to teachers' views on ChatGPT, despite the existence of other technologies that could also enhance student learning. The authors recommend that future research expand its focus to explore the effectiveness of other educational tools and technologies in the classroom. This study serves as a valuable reference for further investigations into integrating AI in education, paving the way for a broader understanding of how various technological tools can support and enrich the learning experience.
