Abstract

Abstract: The Use of Realistic Mathematics Education (Rme) Approach using Plane Model Media in Improving Learning Outcome in the Characteristics of Planes for the Fifth Grade Students of SD Negeri 1 Depokrejo in the Academic Year of 2016/2017. The objective of this research is to improve learning outcome in the characteristics of planes through the use of realistic mathematics education (RME) approach using plane model. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles and five meetings. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects of the research were 27 students. The results of this research show that the use of realistic mathematics education (RME) approach using plane model media can improve learning outcome in the characteristics of planes. It was proven by the increase of learning outcomes in the first cycle 80,77%, in the second cycle 88,46%, and in the third cycle 92,31%; The conclusion of this research is the use of realistic mathematics education (RME) approach using plane model media can improve learning outcome in the characteristics of planes for the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Depokrejo in the academic year of 2016/2017.Keywords: RME Approach, plane model media, learning outcome Abstrak: Penerapan Pendekatan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) dengan Media Model Bangun Datar dalam Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Sifat-sifat Bangun Datar Kelas V SD Negeri 1 Depokrejo Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan hasil belajar sifat-sifat bangun datar melalui penerapan pendekatan RME dengan media model bangun datar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus dengan masing-masing pertemuan terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 27 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan RME dengan media model bangun datar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar sifat-sifat bangun datar. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan perolehan persentase hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I = 80,77%, siklus II = 88,46%, dan siklus III = 92,31%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan pendekatan RME dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar sifat-sifat bangun datar kelas V SD Negeri 1 Depokrejo tahun ajaran 2016/2017.Kata Kunci: pendekatan RME, media model bangun datar, hasil belajar

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve science learning outcomes with magnetic material through the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by KIT Science and Digital Comics media for class VI students at SDN Kahuman. This research is a qualitative research. This research was carried out at SDN Kahuman Class VI with a total of 37 students. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research results show that the application of the problem based learning model with the help of digital comic media and Science KIT can improve student learning outcomes with 30 students getting scores above the KKM.
