Abstract

This research aims to show the error in figures of physics textbooks for 10th-grade high school Physics textbooks on Newtons Law topic. Data collecting technique is a literature review and Physicists interview. Concepts in textbooks are compared to concepts in Physics University textbooks and clarified with the experts. Collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, concluding and verifying data are used as data analysis techniques. Based on the analysis result, error found in the figure of force diagram in three conditions of the object and in the figure of force diagram in the elevator in Pujianto, Risdiyani Chasanah, and Supardianingsih textbook, entitled Buku Siswa Fisika SMA/MA Kelas X published by Intan Pariwara on 2016. In Marthen Kanginans textbook entitled FISIKA Untuk SMA/MA Kelas X published by Erlangga on 2016, error found in the figure of action-reaction force direction in the runner. In Ketut Kamajaya & Wawan/Purnamas textbook entitled Buku Siswa Aktif dan Kreatif Belajar Fisika Untuk SMA/MA Kelas X which is published..by Grafindo Media Pratama on 2016, error found in the figure of force diagram in the inclined surface.Keywords: error, figures, textbook, Newton?s Law.

Abstract

Smoking behavior is one of the negative behaviors exhibited by high school students, with previous studies indicating a high prevalence of this behavior. This study aims to analyze the impact of smoking behavior among students and to identify the efforts made by the school to address student smoking. The researcher employed a qualitative case study approach, involving nine informants: seven students, one homeroom teacher, and one deputy head of student affairs. The research was conducted at one of the Tarbiyah Islamiyah Madrasah in a rural area. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was the Miles & Huberman interactive model, including a process for checking data validity. The research findings are as follows: (1) The impact of smoking behavior on students is significant in terms of health, with frequent coughing, fatigue, drowsiness during lessons, headaches, sore throats, hoarseness, frequent nausea, and weight loss reported. Academically, smoking behavior leads to decreased concentration and lower academic achievement. (2) Efforts to address this behavior include collaboration between the homeroom teacher and the deputy head of student affairs, who work together to prevent students from leaving the school premises and impose sanctions on smoking students, such as fines, memorization of Qur’an verses, and warning points. If a student accumulates 100 points, they are expelled. This finding underscores the importance of preventive counseling services in schools. Counselors can design a smoking behavior prevention program that includes regular counseling on the negative impacts of smoking on health, academics, and social life.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini dilaksanakan untuk memberdayakan guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) SMP yang tergabung dalam Musyawarah Guru BK (MGBK) Kota Bengkulu. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 57 guru BK dan dilaksanakan di Aula Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Bengkulu. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah tingginya rasio siswa per guru BK, terbatasnya penggunaan pendekatan kreatif dalam layanan, serta minimnya pelatihan terkait Creative Arts Counseling (CAC) di kalangan guru BK. Tujuan program ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru BK dalam merancang serta melaksanakan layanan berbasis seni sehingga mampu meningkatkan profesionalisme mereka dalam praktik konseling. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi program kepada MGBK, pelatihan teknik konseling berbasis seni, pendampingan implementasi di sekolah, dan evaluasi hasil program. Penilaian kompetensi dilakukan menggunakan instrumen pre-test dan post-test berupa angket terstruktur untuk mengukur pemahaman konsep CAC, serta rubrik penilaian kinerja untuk mengukur keterampilan guru BK dalam merancang aktivitas kreatif. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada indikator kompetensi, yaitu pemahaman konsep CAC meningkat dari rata-rata skor 65 menjadi 85, dan keterampilan merancang aktivitas kreatif meningkat dari skor 60 menjadi 82 setelah pelatihan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini menghasilkan modul layanan BK berbasis seni dan toolkit aktivitas kreatif yang siap digunakan di sekolah. Kendala yang dihadapi seperti keterbatasan sarana seni diatasi melalui pemanfaatan media sederhana dan aplikasi digital. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan berbasis seni dapat menjadi strategi inovatif dan efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru BK di sekolah
