Abstract

This study aims to identify the effectiveness of using honey in increasing the clinical improvement of diabetic ulcers in the wound healing process. The method used is a systematic review by searching research journals in databases, namely Embase, Scopus, PubMed and Proquest with the year of publication of the article starting from 2006-2021. Data analysis was carried out by taking relevant articles in this research, totaling 9 articles. The research results showed that the majority, namely 8 articles (89%), proved the effectiveness of honey in the wound healing process. Conclusion: The use of honey in wound care management has been proven to accelerate the healing process, reduce odor, clean wounds, stimulate granulation, and control infection. Keywords: Diabetic Ulcer, Honey, Wound Healing

Abstract

Physical fitness is the body's ability to adjust to physical loads so that it can avoid excessive fatigue. Higher physical fitness can reduce the possibility of muscle fatigue. This study aims to determine the endurance of athletes. The type of research is "Quantitative" with a True experimental design, Two Group Pre-test and Post-test Design. Independent variables are bananas and Ambon bananas, dependent variables are Endurance. Statistical results with the Independent T-Test to test the difference in increasing VO2Max in groups treated with bananas and Ambon bananas in athletes obtained a p value = 0.029 because the p value <0.05 then H1 is accepted. The conclusion is that there is a significant difference between giving bananas and Ambon bananas to increase muscle endurance in athletes seen from the highest average value being bananas.

Abstract

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the most common chronic diseases in the community and serves as a major risk factor for heart disease and stroke. One effective non-pharmacological approach to controlling blood pressure is the adoption of a low-salt diet. However, patient adherence to dietary recommendations often remains low. This study aimed to examine the relationship between compliance with a low-salt diet and blood pressure among hypertensive patients. A quantitative research design with a cross-sectional approach was employed. The sample consisted of hypertensive patients selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) questionnaire and blood pressure measurements, and analyzed using the Chi-square test. The results showed that the majority (76.8%) of respondents were compliant with a low-salt diet, and most were categorized as having grade 1 hypertension (62.2%). Statistical analysis revealed a significant relationship between compliance with a low-salt diet and blood pressure levels (p < 0.05). In conclusion, higher compliance with a low-salt diet is associated with a greater likelihood of achieving normal or controlled blood pressure. It is recommended that healthcare providers enhance education and monitoring efforts regarding dietary adherence as part of comprehensive hypertension management.
