Abstract

Environmental issues are one of the most important issues in Indonesia. The issue is certainly inseparable from the behavior of individual awareness of environmental preservation. Environmental awareness behavior needs to be sought early, one of which is through E-Darlink (Environmental Awareness Education). The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the E-darlink Activity in increasing the environmental awareness of the Early Childhood Teachers. Subjects in this study were early childhood teachers, namely kindergarten teachers (kindergarten) and PAUD (Early Childhood Education) / KB (playgroup). The method used in this study is a quantitative experiment with one group pretest posttest design. The treatment given is in the form of psychoeducation, which consists of several sessions, including pretest, giving material, discussion, simulation of environmental conscious props and posttest. The instrument used to determine the effectiveness of this activity was in the form of tests to measure participants' knowledge related to environmental awareness and learning methods to increase environmental awareness in early childhood. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling, with data analysis techniques using the t test (paired test). The results of data analysis using data processing software obtained the value of t = 6.424 and p = 0,000 (p <0.001), with a significance level of p <5%. Based on the results of data analysis, there are significant differences in knowledge about environmental awareness between before and after the activity, so it can be concluded that the E-Darlink activity can increase teacher knowledge about environmental awareness and learning methods which can later be used to increase environmental awareness in Early Childhood.

Abstract

Nonsuicidal self-injury (NSSI) is deliberate self-harm without suicidal intent. Dating violence (DV) is a known risk factor for NSSI, but research on this relationship is limited, especially regarding the role of self-criticism (SC). This study examines the role of SC in the relationship between DV and NSSI using a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The participants were 159 early adults aged 18-24 years old. The instruments included the Deliberate Self-Harm Inventory (DSHI) (α=0.9), the Dating Violence Questionnaire-R (DVQ-R) (α=0.901), and Forms of Self-Criticizing/Attacking & Self-Reassuring Scale (α=0.887). This study found that SC acts as a mediator in the relationship between DV and NSSI, β=0.047, (95% CI:0.021; 0.088), z=2.694, p<0.05. These findings suggest that SC may be a key psychological mechanism linking DV to NSSI, highlighting its relevance for preventive and clinical interventions.

Abstract

The implementation of inclusive school policies is increasingly being carried out by various schools, especially public schools which are designated as pilot inclusive schools by the government. However, not all schools are ready to face various needs in implementing inclusive schools. One of them is SD N Sekaran 02 which still needs assistants and training for various teacher competencies in teaching inclusive schools. The activities to be carried out are training in the initial identification of children with special needs and training in the preparation of individual learning designs for children with special needs. The subjects in this study were 9 elementary school teachers. The research design uses one group design with pretest and post-test. The instruments used in this study were the teacher efficacy scale and the RPI knowledge test. Data analysis used Wilcoxon signed rank test analysis with statistical software JASP version 14.0. The results of the analysis showed that the inclusion policy implementation assistance program was effective in increasing teacher knowledge (p<0.05) and teacher efficacy (p<0.05).

Abstract

Carrying out duties as a nurse for patients with mental illness causes work stress that could affect caring abilities. Good-quality caring is very necessary to support patients’ recovery. The phenomenon of nurses with low-quality caring can be caused by a lack of ability to regulate emotions. The purpose of this study is to test the effectiveness of REF-BY training to improve caring by controlling work stress and neuroticism personality variables. The method used in this study is an experiment employing a one group pretest-posttest design and the Mann Whitney U test as data analysis technique. This study involved 6 nurses working in one psychiatric  rehabilitation center. The results of the data analysis showed that based on the pretest and posttest and follow-up scores, REF-BY training could help improve caring skills significantly.
