Abstract

The concept of Work-Family is now no stranger to the general public. Work- family is a concept of family who must fulfill the roles that must be carried out as a family and work activities. When parents are preoccupied with they work, they also need to take time to accompany their children to listen to complaints or stories of their children's daily life. In this study, researchers want to know how the role of communication in working families, how the response of a child who has working parents, and see what conflicts occur in the working family. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The results of this study indicate that the communication that exists between the child and both parents who work runs smoothly. Parents always try to take the time to talk about their daily activities. However, it does not always run smoothly, sometimes a strain based conflict also arises, where fathers and mothers are too focused on their work. Child feels the reduced attention from the parents. In this case the role of communication is needed to discuss each other's desires (children and parents). In addition, the role of communication is needed to show the concern and affection among each family member.

Abstract

Media has become an inseparable staple in people's lives. Its presence has expanded to become an inseparable part of our daily routine. Therefore, people will be very dependent on the use of media. New media was born from today's technological advancements and gave rise to various types of new media in communication, one of which is YouTube. YouTube is a very famous platform for video sharing where users can upload, watch and share videos free of charge. One trend that is gaining popularity among many people is watching others eat through broadcasts known as mukbang. There is also a lot of enthusiasm for this content, this happens because it displays appetizing food, thus impacting affective changes in its audience, giving a long-term effect to continue watching it.

Abstract

Dangdut adalah musik yang lahir dan populer di Indonesia. Tren dangdut yang terus menanjak dipandang sebagai sebuah potensi oleh media-media besar. Ragam acara dangdut pun mendapat ruang tersendiri di program-program televisi nasional. Menjamurnya program dangdut menandakan bahwa peminat dangdut adalah segmen penting dalam industri pertelevisian. Berbagai ajang pencarian bakat dalam musik dangdut juga terus digelar. Melalui fenomena ini, konsep budaya populer merupakan pisau analisis utama yang digunakan untuk membedah musik dangdut di dalam studi ini. Sehingga, sudut pandang ini memberi ruang ekplorasi yang lebih dalam terhadap konsep budaya populer untuk mengkaji musik dangdut itu sendiri. Studi ini adalah conceptual paper dan menggunakan teknik kepustakaan dalam proses pengumpulan data. Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk melihat dan menganalisis bagaimana posisi musik dangdut dalam dalam bingkai (perspektif) budaya populer. Hasilnya, studi ini menunjukkan bahwa dangdut sebagai musik yang populis menjadi arena pertarungan kekuasaan yang tidak pernah netral, dangdut sebagai produk budaya populer seringkali menjadi arena perebutan kekuasaan bagi kelompok-kelompok dominan. Sementara itu, dangdut yang acap kali dilekatkan dengan citra budaya rakyat kecil dan rakyat jelata, justru hari ini juga semakin menegaskan eksistensinya.

Abstract

The implementation of smart government and improving the quality of service at the Pekanbaru City Public Service Mall is a form of implementing the smart city program carried out by the Pekanbaru City government for the community. This realization is evidenced by faster, more effective, and economical services. The efforts made by the government aim to make it easier for the public to carry out government bureaucratic affairs, which are sometimes still considered complicated. Smart government and improving the quality of services that have been carried out are expected to satisfy the community in terms of service. In this study, the author uses the S-O-R theory to make it easier for researchers to analyze existing problems. This S-O-R theory is used as a basis by researchers to see the communication process that takes place in public services where the stimulus conveyed by the message source can be received and interpreted by the target of communication or the recipient of the message in the form of perception or attitude. This study aims to determine the effect of smart government and service quality simultaneously on community satisfaction at the Pekanbaru City Public Service Mall. The research method used is quantitative,e with data collection techniques using a questionnaire with a total sample of 100 respondents taken based on a random sampling technique for data processing in this study using SPSS with multiple regression analysis techniques. Based on the results of this study, it was found that there was an influence between smart government and service quality on community satisfaction at the Pekanbaru City Public Service Mall, partially or simultaneously. The coefficient of determination test shows that the contribution of smart government influence and service quality to community satisfaction at the Pekanbaru City Public Service Mall is 0.411, which means that the smart government variable influences the community satisfaction variable and also service rate of 41.1% and the rest is influenced by other factors that are not present in this research.

Abstract

This article describes the application of Google Sites based learning media in an effort to improve learning outcomes in Sociology subjects in class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek. The method used is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model. In its application, all the steps needed in the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) model are carried out, namely modeling, inquiry, questioning, learning community, constructivism, reflection, and authentic assessment. The results of this study indicate that the application of Google Site based learning media can improve student learning outcomes. The learning media made consist of the Main Page, Absensi Page, Pre Test Page, material Page, feedback page, and Post Test Page. This media was validated by sociology teacher. The feasibility of Google Sites media is based on the score obtained for each aspect by sociology teachers to get an assessment result with an average score of 76 which is included in the appropriate category.

Abstract

Meningkatnya interaksi digital di kalangan masyarakat, khususnya dalam komunitas game, yang sering memunculkan perilaku tidak etis seperti ujaran kebencian, provokasi, dan sikap toxic. Kondisi ini menunjukkan urgensi penerapan netiket sebagai etika berkomunikasi daring untuk menjaga keharmonisan interaksi sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh netiket terhadap perubahan sosial pengguna game online Mobile Legends dalam komunitas tersebut. Penelitian ini memiliki kebaruan karena secara khusus mengkaji pengaruh netiket terhadap perubahan sosial dalam komunitas esports RRQ Kingdom Sumatera Barat, suatu konteks yang belum banyak diteliti sebelumnya. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis asosiatif kausal. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling dengan Quota Sampling, dengan jumlah sampel 101 anggota dari 503 populasi anggota komunitas RRQ Kingdom Sumbar. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori netiket dari Viginea Shea dan perubahan sosial dari Moore. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa netiket berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perubahan sosial, dengan t hitung 12,065 > t tabel 1,98422 dan signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Persamaan regresi Y = 5,950 + 0,318X mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi penerapan netiket, semakin meningkat perubahan sosial yang terjadi dalam komunitas. Temuan ini tidak hanya memperkuat teori mengenai pentingnya etika digital, tetapi juga memberikan implikasi praktis bagi komunitas dan industri esports dalam membangun budaya interaksi digital yang positif dan konstruktif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan perilaku sehat mahasiswa tingkat akhir Universitas Negeri Padang dalam menjaga kesehatan mental selama penyusunan skripsi serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus terhadap enam mahasiswa, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Teori Health Belief Model (HBM) digunakan untuk memahami bagaimana persepsi mahasiswa mengenai kerentanan, tingkat keparahan stres, manfaat perilaku sehat, hambatan, dan efikasi diri membentuk cara mereka merawat kesehatan mental. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa menghadapi tekanan akademik berupa revisi berulang, sulitnya bertemu pembimbing, tuntutan keluarga, dan perbandingan sosial, sehingga mereka menerapkan strategi seperti refreshing, olahraga, ibadah, self-care, berbagi cerita, dan menjaga pola pikir positif. Dukungan sosial dari keluarga, teman, dan dosen terbukti membantu menguatkan stabilitas emosional mahasiswa. Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada perlunya penguatan layanan konseling kampus, pelatihan manajemen stres, dan peningkatan kualitas bimbingan akademik sebagai upaya mendukung kesehatan mental mahasiswa selama proses penyusunan skripsi.
