Abstract

This study conducted to investigate the teachers' attitudes towards inclusive education, and what variables are influenced to their attitudes. A review of 27 literatures that involves 5471 teachers resulted that most of the teacher hold positive attitudes towards inclusive education. Some studies also report negative and neutral attitudes. The term of attitudes was defined differently among the studies. The variables that found influence to the attitudes include are found on teacher's educational degree and background, teacher training, and the type of the disability. The implication of the attitudes towards inclusion were discussed.

Abstract

This paper presents a review of research on intervention of behaviour problem in young children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) between 2002 and 2019. 15 literatures include in this review based on inclusion and exclusion criteria that involves 490 participants. The analysis is categorized into Three Theme: 1) the behaviour problem that exist most in young children with ASD, 2) The intervention overview, and 3) the intervention outcome. The analysis results a recommendation that various approach and method in this review is effective to reduce behaviour problem as well as improve appropriate behaviour.

Abstract

This study explores the efforts to integrate local culture and wisdom into primary education in Indonesia and its impact on students' experiences and learning outcomes. Through a literature review, the study finds that culture-based teaching significantly enhances students' motivation, engagement, and academic achievement. Effective teaching strategies, such as project-based learning and community involvement, have been shown to strengthen students’ understanding of their cultural heritage. However, this research also identifies challenges faced in implementing cultural education, including resource limitations and insufficient teacher training. By understanding stakeholder perceptions and formulating recommendations for future practice, this study contributes to the development of a more inclusive and culturally responsive educational framework. It is expected that the findings of this research will enrich students' learning experiences and reinforce cultural identity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis problematika dan efektivitas manajemen strategis dalam konteks pendidikan sekolah dasar di Indonesia, menggunakan pendekatan mixed-methods yang menggabungkan metode kualitatif deskriptif, studi kasus, dan studi literatur. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung terhadap kepala sekolah, guru, serta orang tua sebagai sumber data utama, sementara data kuantitatif diperoleh dari survei persepsi dan penilaian terhadap praktik manajerial di lapangan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan triangulasi dan analisis tematik guna memastikan validitas dan reliabilitas hasil penelitian. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen strategis di tingkat sekolah dasar masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan seperti keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dan finansial, kualitas pengajaran yang belum merata, serta rendahnya partisipasi orang tua dalam proses pendidikan. Temuan dari wawancara menegaskan bahwa kolaborasi aktif antara sekolah dan masyarakat, termasuk orang tua dan pemerintah lokal, merupakan faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Selain itu, pemanfaatan teknologi sebagai alat pendukung praktik manajerial terbukti mampu meningkatkan efisiensi, transparansi, dan interaktivitas, sehingga mendukung terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang inklusif, adaptif, dan berkelanjutan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, direkomendasikan penguatan kompetensi guru melalui pelatihan berkelanjutan, peningkatan keterlibatan orang tua, serta optimalisasi penggunaan teknologi pendidikan untuk mewujudkan sekolah dasar yang mampu bersaing dan memenuhi kebutuhan masa depan secara lebih efektif.
