Abstract

This study aims to examine the character values in the Kenduri Sko tradition of the Kerinci Tribe and analyze its implementation in teaching local content in junior high schools. Kenduri Sko tradition, as one of the local cultural heritages, is rich in values such as gotong royong, independence, togetherness, and religiosity, which are relevant in character education. This study used a qualitative approach with the methods of participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The results showed that the values of Kenduri Sko have strong relevance to the Pancasila Learner Profile in the Merdeka Curriculum, especially in the aspects of gotong royong, independence, and global diversity. The implementation of these values in Local Content teaching is carried out through project-based learning methods and reflective activities, which involve students directly in understanding and applying these values. The novelty of this research lies in integrating the values of Kenduri Sko tradition into formal teaching in junior high school, which has not been studied much before. This research makes an important contribution in developing local wisdom-based character education and offers an implementation model that can be applied in the context of education in other areas rich in local culture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari persaingan Mursyid, sehingga terjadi krisis internal di dalam lembaga Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah di Desa Ulu Air. Bagaimana sepeninggalan Syekh Ali Ridho perkembangan lembaga Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah sebelum dan sesudah krisis internal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan perkembangan Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah di desa Ulu Air, kecamatan Kumun Debai, kota Sungai Penuh dan kabupaten Kerinci (1980-2012). Penelitian ini meliputi langkah-langkah metode sejarah: (1) Heuristik, (2) Kritik sumber, (3) Interpretasi, (4) Historiografi. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa: Lembaga TN di Desa Ulu Air dikembangkan oleh Syekh Ali Ridho untuk pertama kali pada tahun 1980. Sehingga dikemudian hari Tarekat Naqyabandiyah di Desa Ulu Air semakin berkembang dan eksis di tengah masyarakat sampai tahun 2012. Jaringan-jaringan seperti di Karya Bakti, Siulak, Semurup dan daerah lainya di Kabupaten Kerinci. Oleh sebab itu, Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah di Desa Ulu Air di jadikan Pusat aktivitas berkhalwat, dan majelis zikir yang bersifat otonomi terhadap jaringan-jaringannya. Tahun 1998 krisis internal dalam lembaga Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah di Desa Ulu Air, karena dimensi persaingan mursyid. Latar belakang peristiwa itu terjadi dipengaruhi berbagai faktor yaitu faktor Pendidikan, faktor Geografis, faktor Politik, dan faktor Pisikologis. Sang Mursyid disamping aktivitasnya dalam majelis zikir dan pembimbing suluk, ia juga menonjolkan kreativitas dan keahlian membimbing belajar Al-Quran dan dikelola secara baik.
