Abstract

Ied Nabilah Nurlida, D1A215045, 2019  ?The analysis on the application of the principles of Good Corporate Governance at SMEs in Banjarmasin?, Essay. Programme of Study in Business Administration. Advisor : Saladin Ghalib.            MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) has a crucial role in improving an economy because its number of business units keeps growing rapidly, contributing 60% of GDP and being able to absorb large numbers of workers, namely 97% of the total workforces in Indonesia. However, MSME's also have characteristics which contain potential weaknesses which could create problems. Therefore, MSME's need to implement a good governance for their businesses, one of which is by applying the principles of Good Corporate Governance.            This study aims to analyze the application of the principles of Good Corporate Governance at MSME's in Banjarmasin. This study is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach, using descriptive analysis method and descriptive research type. Data collection techniques uses observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis techniques uses the qualitative interactive model of Miles and Huberman.            The results of this study indicates that the studied MSME's have applied the principles of GCG in their business, although the size of the application itself varies for each one of them. (1) The principle of transparency has been well applied through the delivery of information orally and in writing in the form of simple notes or MSME's which tend to be willing to make good financial reports due to capital requirements from the bank or the government. (2) The principle of accountability has been well implemented because there are details of the duties and responsibilities of each employee, the manager whose duty is to ensure that his employees produce good performance and are consistent in maintaining food quality. (3) The principle of responsibility has been applied quite well especially for MSME's whose capital is assisted by banks or the government where they are required to have a business license, in addition MSME's have responsibilities towards their workers and consumers. (4) The principle of independence has been implemented very well because generally MSME's tend to run family businesses. (5) The principle of fairness has been implemented excelently through an equal payroll system, providing opportunities to express opinions to stakeholders and fairness to consumers through the quality of food and services provided.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to analyze the effect of Human Capital (X1), Capital Employed (Z1), Structural Capital (Z2) on Goodwill (Y), and the influence between intellectual capital components in PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance Tbk Period 2013-2018. Data source is secondary data analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that Human Capital (X1) and Capital Employed (Z1) significantly and positive influence on Goodwill(Y). While Structural Capital (Z2) has a significant and negative effect on Goodwill (Y). With an overall total influence for Goodwill (Y) of 85,53%. Then, there is an insignificant and positive influence of Human Capital (X1) on Capital Employed (Z1) by 3,63%. Then, there is a significant and positive influence of Human Capital (X1) and Capital Employed (Z2) on Structural Capital (Z2), with a large influence contribution of 98,99%.

Abstract

Daniel Dani Wahyu Krismantoro, D2A215003, 2015. Determination of the Economic Life of the Volvo L220G Wheel Loader Using the Minimum Cost Method, under the guidance of  Saladin Ghalib and Rasyidi. This study aims to, 1) Establish a regression model of equipment age (X) with the cost of repairs and maintenance (Y), 2) Determine the economic life of the equipment with the Minimum Cost Method, and 3) Determine significant factors that influence the determination of economic life using sensitivity analysis and Monte Carlo simulation. The population was taken from 5-unit Volvo L220G Wheel Loader that has been operating in Jetty-R coal port, Kab. Tapin, South Kalimantan. Data collection uses interviews and observation method. The researches data was taken in the span of 2014 - 2018 with the equipment life 15,000 - 18,500 working hours.The results obtained, 1) The cost model follows the equation Y = 1752.6 + 0.2046X + 0.0002X ^ 2 where X is the age of the equipment (Independent Variable) and Y is the maintenance cost (Variable Cost). 2) Economic life is calculated by using the Minimum Cost Method which occurs in the fourth year (working hours 13,537.84). 3) the factors that most influence the ownership and operational costs are the cost of purchasing fuel, the cost of ownership and the cost of repairs and maintenance. Keywords:  Economic Life, Minimum Cost Method, Wheel Loader Volvo L220G

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the implementation of innovations carried out in two institutions of Yayasan Pembangunan Insan Farmasi Indonesia Banjarmasin, namely educational institutions, namely the ISFI Banjarmasin Vocational High School (SMK) and the ISFI Banjarmasin College of Health Sciences (STIKES). Complexity (Complexity), Formalization (Formalization) and Centralization (Centralization) of the innovations carried out in the two institutions.The results of the study capture the effect of Complexity, Formalization and Centralization on the implementation of innovations carried out by institutions. The implementation of the innovations carried out has the effect of hindering or facilitating the process of activities in an effort to achieve business sustainability of Yayasan Pembangunan Insan Farmasi Indonesia  Banjarmasin, both at secondary level educational institutions, namely the ISFI Banjarmasin Vocational High School (SMK) and high level education, namely the College of Health Sciences (STIKES) ISFI Banjarmasin. Keywords: Implementation, Innovation, Business Continuity Efforts, Complexity, Formalization, Centralization

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Organizational Culture and Work Environment with Motivation as an Intervening Variable on Teller Employee Performance at Bank Kalsel Main Branch Banjarmasin. The approach used in this research is quantitative, with the type of causality associative research. The sampling method used nonprobability sampling with saturated sampling method on 32 employees of Teller Bank Kalsel Main Branch Banjarmasin. The google form questionnaire was distributed via Whatsapp to each respondent. Data analysis using SmartPLS softwareThe results showed that Organizational Culture had an insignificant effect on the Performance of Teller Employees of Bank Kalsel Main Branch Banjarmasin, Work Environment had a significant effect on Employee Performance of Teller Employees of Bank Kalsel Main Branch of Banjarmasin, Organizational Culture had a significant influence on Motivation of Teller Employees of Bank Kalsel Main Branch Banjarmasin, The work environment has a significant influence on the motivation of teller employees at Bank Kalsel Main Branch Banjarmasin and motivation has an insignificant effect on the performance of teller employees at Bank Kalsel Main Branch Banjarmasin. Abstract

Banking companies, as a financial services industry, are always improving in order to keep up with the trends and assist the National Non-Cash Movement. As one of the financial services sectors in South Kalimantan Province,  PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah Kalimantan Selatan continues making actions to contribute to the provision of beneficial products for consumers, one of which is mobile banking. Because of client requirements and bank technology assistance, mobile banking has become the preferred method of non-cash transactions for most people. The goal of this study is to investigate and analyze the relationship between lifestyle and the acceptance of information technology on consumer satisfaction. Bank Kalsel Banjarmasin Main Branch was chosen as the research location. Non-probability sampling was employed to pick 341 respondents. A questionnaire was utilized to collect data, and multiple linear regression was applied to test the hypothesis. The findings revealed that lifestyle had no influence on customer satisfaction. Customer satisfaction was significantly affected by acceptance of information technology. Customer satisfaction was greatly affected by lifestyle and acceptance of information technology. Keywords: lifestyle, acceptance of information technology, customer satisfaction

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational structure on innovation at the branch office of PT. BRI Syariah Banjarmasin. Innovation is recognized as one of the keys to success in an organization, but an innovation will not run well if there is no regulation from the organization, so that innovation is closely related to organizational structure. The variable used in this study is the organizational structure with 3 dimensions: complexity, formalization, and centralization, while the innovation variable has 2 dimensions: the initiation stage and the implementation stage. This study uses a quantitative approach with a total sample of 100 employees of BRIsyariah Banjarmasin. Data collection techniques used primary and secondary data, and were analyzed using the Amos 22 SEM application. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that complexity had a partial and significant effect on initiation, complexity had no partial and significant effect on implementation, formalization had a partial and significant effect on the initiation stage. , formalization does not have a partial and significant effect on implementation, centralization has a partial and significant effect on initiation and centralization has a partial and significant effect on implementation Keywords: Organizational structure, innovation, complexity, formalization, initiation, implementation

Abstract

Ensuring adequate nutrition through a balanced and healthy diet is essential to maintaining overall health. Maintaining adequate nutrition remains the main priority of the Banjarmasin City Government, especially in remote areas of Mantuil District which has the highest prevalence of stunted children in Banjarmasin. This research aims to determine the prevalence of stunting cases in Mantuil District using a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The research results found that stunting cases in Mantuil District occurred more frequently in riverbank settlements due to sanitation problems, uninhabitable housing and large numbers of families in one house. This research also found that unhealthy residential conditions, low public awareness about stunting, unclean lifestyles also contribute to the prevalence of stunting cases.
