Abstract

Abstract: Teacher?s corrective feedback on in English class has been studied many times in secondary or higher education level. However, how a teacher deliver corrective feedback in non-English subjects for students in elementary students rarely become the focus of studies. Therefore, this qualitative research studied the elementary students of International Class Program of SD Laboratorium UM. The second grader and the teachers contributed as the research subjects. There were five corrective feedback types used by the teacher, translation, first language, conversational recast, clarification, and explicit. Those feedbacks were considered as effective feedbacks since the students mostly responded to it.Abstrak: Penelitian tentang feedback korektif guru sebelumnya seringkali diteliti di pendidikan menengah atau di tingkat perguruan tinggi. Namun, bagaimana guru menyampaikan feedback korektif untuk siswa sekolah dasar pada pelajaran non-bahasa inggris sangat jarang dijadikan fokus penelitian. Maka dari itu penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana guru memberikan korektif feedback pada siswa Program Kelas Internasional SD Laboratorium UM. Siswa kelas dua beserta gurunya menjadi subjek penelitian ini. Ada lima jenis feedback korektif yang diberikan guru; translation, first language, conversational recast, clarification, dan explicit. Feedback tersebut direspons oleh siswa.

Abstract

AbstrakMikroplastik adalah partikel berukuran kurang dari 5 mm yang ditemukan di berbagai media, mulai dari tanah, air, hingga udara. Penelitian tentang mikroplastik banyak berfokus pada media air dan tanah, sedangkan penelitian tentang mikroplastik di udara  Indonesia masih jarang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis keberadaan mikroplastik di udara ambien sekitar Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) Piyungan, Yogyakarta. Sampel udara diambil menggunakan High Volume Air Sampler (HVAS) selama 24 jam dan diperiksa secara visual menggunakan mikroskop, Scaning Electron Microscope (SEM) kemudaian dianalisis dengan Spektroskopi Infra merah Transformasi Fourier (FTIR). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kelimpahan partikel mikroplastik dalam bentuk fragmen, film, dan fiber dengan berbagai warna terutama warna hitam. Mikroplatik ditemukan dalam semua partikel yang dianalisa, termasuk pada Total Suspended Particulate (TSP), Particulate Matter 10 µm (PM10) dan Particulate Matter 2,5 µm (PM2,5). Penelitian ini menunjukkan kelimpahan jenis, warna dan potensi dugaan keberadaan mikroplastik dalam ukuran partikel yang lebih halus sehingga dapat menjadi dasar penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai mikroplastik yang dapat terhirup dan berdampak pada kesehatan.Kata kunci : mikroplastik, sampah padat, partikulat di udara

Abstract

Multilingual community is commonly found in Asian countries. Since people are able to communicate using more than one language, some factors may influence them in their language choices. This research was a reflection study in which the researcher herself became the participant of this research. Some factors that might influence the language choice was the interlocutors, the setting, and the language that the participant grew up with. During the conversation code-switching and code-mixing were also found since the speakers in the setting of research were also bilingual or multilingual.
