Abstract

Making the right decisions can optimize resource utilization, increase operational efficiency, and strengthen competitive positions in the market. A decision, as a choice of action from various alternatives that fulfill one or more goals, has a significant impact on various related parties. Therefore, decision making is the main function for a leader, both in companies and public institutions. The technique of modifying data to increase its value and usefulness is known as data optimization. This entails converting unstructured data into a structured format, improving data quality, reducing duplication, and retrieving related information. This research was conducted using a narrative review model. The research method used is secondary data collected from various international journals, papers, and previous research papers used as data sources and analyzed by the author taking into account the problems considered in this research.

Abstract

Digital Elevation Model (DEM) is well known for providing solutions to the theoretical and application-related problems around geosciences. The use of DEM in flume tank experiment is getting more common nowadays. Flume tank itself is built to simulate the landscape and stratigraphy at laboratory scale. This physical experiment may have tremendous impacts on understanding the sedimentation process in a laboratory-scaled experiment. Normally, the morphodynamic behaviour of a laboratory-scaled deposit in the flume tank experiment would be observed through its digital elevation model. In this paper, a novel method in constructing cost-efficient digital elevation model was presented. By using this inexpensive tool to create a digital elevation model in a flume tank experiment setup, some challenges and benefits will follow this method. Some challenges including tool’s resolution and time consuming could be diminished in the near future by creating automated motor system to move the laser distance meter sequentially. Automated and integrated system from the LDM to the processing software could also reduce the time consumption. In the other hand, some benefits including financial benefit, reliability in a sedimentary structure scale, and also the practicality to be applied in any flume tank system available in Indonesia. Nevertheless, this method had been tested and some reliable results from the previous studies in Quantitative Sedimentology Laboratory, Universitas Indonesia was presented in this paper. Hopefully, some major improvements could be done to get more accurate and detail digital elevation model in the near future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh motivasi kerja, tingkat beban kerja, serta kerja tim terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Koperasi Telekomunikasi Selular (Kisel) Regional I Sumatera Utara. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian asosiatif. Jumlah sampel terdiri dari 110 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik insidental sampling dan perhitungan menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat kesalahan 10%. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa motivasi kerja (X1) menjadi faktor paling dominan dan signifikan dalam mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan, ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000 dan nilai t-hitung sebesar 4.864. Selain itu, beban kerja (X2) juga memiliki pengaruh signifikan dengan nilai signifikansi 0.020, diikuti oleh variabel kerja sama tim (X3) yang turut memberikan pengaruh signifikan dengan signifikansi 0.040. Ketiga variabel tersebut secara bersama-sama terbukti memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, sebagaimana ditunjukkan oleh hasil uji F dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000. Model regresi dalam penelitian ini mampu menjelaskan 27,8% dari variasi kinerja pegawai (R² = 0,278), sementara sisanya, sebesar 72,2%, dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak termasuk dalam model. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan dapat dilakukan melalui penguatan motivasi, pengaturan beban kerja yang seimbang, serta peningkatan efektivitas kerja sama dalam tim.

Abstract

Cekungan Air Tanah (CAT) Sumbawa Besar, merupakan cekungan air tanah yang terletak di Kabupaten Sumbawa, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Daerah ini termasuk dalam wilayah tanggap darurat bencana kekeringan di Nusa Tenggara Barat, pada musim kemarau tahun 2023, sehingga dilakukan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi zona potensi air tanah di wilayah ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) dan Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP). Metode SIG digunakan untuk analisis parameter menjadi bentuk peta, sedangkan metode AHP digunakan untuk menentukan tingkat kepentingan parameter serta pembobotannya. Terdapat 12 parameter yang digunakan dalam penelitian, yang dianggap mempengaruhi potensi air tanah, yakni geologi, geomorfologi, tutupan lahan, densitas kelurusan, jenis tanah, densitas drainase, kemiringan lereng, curah hujan, Topographic Wetness Index (TWI), roughness/kekasaran, Topographic Position Index (TPI), dan curvature/kelengkungan. Berdasarkan penggabungan seluruh parameter, dibuatlah peta zona potensi air tanah yang dibagi menjadi 3 kategori, yakni zona potensi air tanah rendah, mencakup sekitar 18% dari area penelitian, zona potensi air tanah sedang, mencakup sekitar 68% dari area penelitian, dan zona potensi air tanah tinggi, mencakup sekitar 14% dari area penelitian. Dari peta zona potensi air tanah, dapat disimpulkan bahwa zona potensi air tanah pada Cekungan Air Tanah Sumbawa Besar didominasi oleh zona potensi air tanah sedang, dengan sebagian kecil area berada pada zona rendah dan zona tinggi. Hasil perbandingan antara peta zona potensi air tanah dengan data lapangan menunjukkan hasil yang cukup baik, peta memiliki tingkat akurasi 78% terhadap data debit air sumur bor serta 85% terhadap luas daerah termasuk wilayah tanggap darurat bencana kekeringan.

Abstract

Wilayah yang menjadi daerah penelitian berada pada kavling pemetaan geologi lanjutan milik penulis yang mencakup Kecamatan Bayah dan Cibeber di Kabupaten Lebak dengan luas area 6x6 km2. Daerah penelitian ini memiliki banyak memiliki lereng yang cukup curam dengan curah hujan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan persebaran area zona kerentanan gerakan tanah dalam piksel resolusi 15, 25, 35, dan 45. Adapun data yang digunakan berupa data kejadian longsor dan 8 faktor pemicu kejadian gerakan tanah. Dari faktor tersebut diolah menjadi 8 peta faktor pemicu kejadian gerakan tanah yang kemudian dilakukan perhitungan Weight of Evidence (WoE). Dari perhitungan WoE masing-masing piksel resolusi didapati nilai kontras yang digunakan untuk perhitungan peta Landslide Susceptibility Index (LSI). Dari peta LSI didapati suatu peta zona kerentanan gerakan tanah dengan piksel resolusi berbeda dengan pembagian indikatornya menjadi zona kerentanan gerakan tanah sangat rendah, rendah, menengah, dan tinggi. Terakhir menggunakan metode Area Under the Curvature (AUC) didapati nilai tertinggi success rate berada pada piksel resolusi 15 (AUC = 0.736) dan predictive rate pada piksel resolusi 15 (AUC = 0.674). kemiringan 35-55, elevasi 400-500m, aspek lereng barat laut, kurvatur concave, vegetasi sedang, kerapatan struktur 558.36 – 745.45 m/m2, kerapatan sungai sedang, dan curah hujan tinggi, adalah kelas faktor pemicu yang berpengaruh terhadap kejadian gerakan tanah.

Abstract

In the era of increasingly fierce banking competition, service quality is one of the factors that determine the success of a financial institution. This research aims to determine the influence of service quality on customer satisfaction at PT BPRS Al-Wasliyah Medan. This research was conducted on customers of PT BPRS Al-Wasliyah Medan. The type of research used is quantitative research. Sampling used the Purposive Sampling technique, because the researcher only sampled 91 customer respondents. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire whose validity and reliability have been tested. From the findings of the research conducted, it shows that Service Quality, namely, Reliability, Responsiveness, Empathy, Assurance, Tangible is very influential on customer satisfaction of PT BPRS Al-Wasliyah Medan. With a coefficient of determination (adjusted R square) of 0.713 or 71.3%. By improving service quality customer pleasure or satisfaction is fulfilled.

Abstract

The anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility (AMS) was proposed over half a century ago and has earned tremendous popularity. The AMS method is a powerful quantitative tool for fabric analysis, especially in fine-grained sedimentary rocks that lack macroscopically observable paleocurrent indicators. In addition, the AMS has proven as an extremely sensitive indicator to record ‛invisible’ deformational fabrics. Thus, the AMS is increasingly used to characterize the preferred orientation of magnetic minerals from depositional to tectonic setting within a given basin, with the benefit of potentially recording weak upper-crustal strains. The AMS was tested in a sequential geological setting along the northern edge of Gondwana during the Neoproterozoic–Cambrian. The objective of this research is to find the timing and mechanism operated on the northern margin of Gondwana during active-pasive margin transition. In the Cadomian terranes, after the active Cadomian orogeny ceased, several diverse compositional plutons intruded the Teplá–Barrandian unit of the Bohemian Massif. The AMS data are able to differentiate the pre-, syn-, and post-plutonism structures (The Kdyně pluton, the Czech Republic). The possible geodynamic causes of this event were interpreted as a result of a slab break-off. Following this plutonism, the crust at the surface evolved as a graben-type structure of the Příbram–Jince basin (the Czech Republic). The AMS has successfully revealed the paleocurrent direction changes in this sedimentary basin, which was related to the change of tectonic regime.
