Abstract

Potensi usaha desa sangat jarang dimanfaatkan secara maksimal untuk kemakmuran dan kemajuan ekonomi dari masyarakat desa. Umumnya potensi tersebut dimanfaatkan oleh perusahaan besar yang mempekerjakan masyarakat setempat. Langkah ini belum efektif dalam mendorong ekonomi masyarakat desa. Secara keahlian, masyarakat setempat sudah memiliki kemampuan yang diperlukan untuk mengembangkan secara mandiri potensi desa yang ada. Kegiatan pengabdian membuat dua kelompok kecil yang menjalankan usaha ternak berkelanjutan dan hingga saat ini berkembang menjadi tiga kelompok. Tim pengabdian telah memberikan bantuan induk ternak dan kandang untuk masing-masing kelompok mitra. Tim pengabdian akan membagikan ilmu seputar bagaimana melakukan usaha yang berkelanjutan, menciptakan komitmen dalam kelompok, semangat berwirausaha dan saling membantu masyarakat, serta bagaimana menentukan harga jual yang sesuai untuk ternak kelompok serta memberikan buku seputar budidaya ternak. Selanjutnya tim pengabdian akan melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi secara berkala sekaligus memberikan pendampingan dalam prakteknya. Diharapkan kegiatan ini akan semakin membantu masyarakat memperoleh modal yang diperlukan dalam beternak secara mandiri untuk membantu ekonominya sekaligus semangat dalam warga lain yang memerlukan transfer pengetahuan.

Abstract

Tingginya angka pencari kerja memaksa setiap individu untuk berfikir kreatif mencari lapangan kerja baru. Salah satu lapangan pekerjaan yang dapat mendorong pengurangan angkatan kerja adalah dengan wirausaha. Hanya saja sampai dengan saat ini wirausaha masih didominasi oleh ibu rumah tangga sebagai salah satu cara untuk memperoleh tambahan penghasilan. Dalam kegiatannya ada beberapa kendala yang dihadapi oleh pelaku wirausaha ini yaitu kendala produksi dan kendala pemasaran. Dimana kendala produksi adalah mengenai jumlah produksi yang masih sangat terbatas disebabkan karena alat produksi yang belum memadai. Kendala dari aspek pemasaran adalah kemasan produk yang kurang menarik dan juga masih tebatasnya lokasi pemasaran produk. Kegiatan pengabdian ini mensiyalir peningkatan jumlah produksi mitra dan memperbaiki kualias kemasan serta aktivitas promosi mitra. Tim pengabdian memberikan label dan kartu nama sebagai dasar kegiatan pemasaran mitra. Selain itu mitra juga mempelajari pemasaran secara online. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian secara umum sangat memuaskan. Mitra berkembang dan pendapatan masyarakat meningkat. Mitra mengalami peningkatn baik dari sisi produktivitas maupun permintaan.

Abstract

Sanggar Seni Silaban Margu is an organization in Huta Sitangkuban, Siponjot Village, Lintong Ni Huta Subdistrict, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. The presence of Sanggar Seni Silaban Margu, has helped increase the activities of citizens through the production of a numerous traditional Batak Toba musical instruments and has also marketed them for both locally and nationally. They also carry out routine training in playing music, thus providing an opportunity for the Huta Sitangkuban community to understand and develop their own arts. The problem faced at this time is that Silaban Margu has not implemented productive time management and good human resource management as well as planned work methods that can be applied to provide high quality and maximum production results. The craftsmen of these musical instruments have not yet applied the method of processing wood from the remnants of making musical instruments that could actually be used to be processed into other artistic creativity items. The implementation of community service activities is carried out in two main forms, namely socialization and assistance. In addition, we also provided assistance with work equipment to facilitate better production access. Meanwhile in based on ideas, the we provided an understanding of how to manage time as well as human resources, so that the duration of productive work hours and working methods of musical instrument craftsmen can be maximized. The dedication team provided the craftsmen with the idea of ​​processing existing wood, not only for making musical instruments, but the rest of the production was then made into other artistic creations, which could be used for daily life needs. These community service activities had become the basis idea for planning the ‘Desa Binaan’

Abstract

The presence of waste in the environment is the root of many contradictions. Garbage can cause a variety of diseases, moving comfort, mosquito nests, and apart damaged view around. The presence of garbage makes the environment not beautiful. Nevertheless, many people have contributed to make waste increasingly pollute the environment. Scavengers are one of the professions that help plastic waste with low economic potential. While behind the negative side of waste, this can still be optimized by management so as to provide good economic value. Processing waste also encourages the level of monitoring of waste in the environment which makes it more beautiful. The dedication activities that have been carried out raise several issues at once. First is the empowerment of community groups who are scavengers without active groups. Second is increasing public awareness to dispose of garbage in landfills and classifying waste disposal so that it can be better and easier to manage others. Third is pollution caused by unmanaged waste, especially non-organic waste such as plastic. Community service activities help increase the economic and financial activities of partners and groups by helping to start a business as an expertise development that is usually done as a scavenger. Science and technology transfers consisting of management, business management, production management, finance, and groups will be given to partners. In addition, this service is a partner of change that helps change the community so that they are aware of waste disposal. This change will also benefit partners who will more easily obtain raw materials for their production.

Abstract

Human Resources are a generator of available resources in the activities and routine of an organization or company that the good and the bad performance of an organization are determined by the performance of human resources. Professional employee  is a reliable employee with balanced quality between academic and emotional capability. Academic intelligence is frequently given a higher position than emotional intelligence is an individual evaluation. Emotional intelligence is the factor  determining the effectiveness of someone is working that with high emotional intelligence, the human resources can be easily directed and guided to work in accordance with the goals of organization. The prupose of this quantitative descriptive explanatory study was to look at the influence of Emotional Quotient (EQ) and Work Stress on the performance of the employees of PT. Bank Mestika Dharma Medan using the theory of human resources management related to Emotional Quotient (EQ), work stress and work performance. The population of this study was 585 employees and 238 of them were selected to be the samples for this study. The data obtained were analyzed through multiple linear regression tests using F test to simultaneously test the hypothesis and using t test to do a partial test. The result of the hypothesis test showed that simultaneously the variable of Emotional Quotient and work stress had a significant influence on the improvemnet of the performance  of the employees of PT. Abstract

AbstrakKinerja pegawai di Puskesmas Kecamatan Gunungsitoli belum maksimal, dimana terdapat beberapa cakupan program kesehatan yang belum memenuhi target, diantaranya yaitu upaya kesehatan masyarakat esensial, upaya kesehatan masyarakat pengembangan, upaya kesehatan perorangan, pelayanan puskesmas, pelayanan kefarmasian sampai pelayanan laboratorium. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kedisiplinan, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini dilakukan kepada seluruh pegawai Aparatur Sipil Negara yang berada di Unit Pelaksana Teknis Daerah Puskesmas Kecamatan Gunungsitoli Alo’oa dengan populasi berjumlah 35 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh sehingga sampel berjumlah 35 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Kedisiplinan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja, motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja, kepuasan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja, kedisiplinan, motivasi kerja, dan kepuasan kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja.Kata Kunci: Kedisiplinan, Motivasi Kerja, Kepuasan Kerja, KinerjaAbstractEmployee performance in the Gunungsitoli sub-district health centers less than optimal,, where there are several health program coverage that have not met the national target, including essential public health efforts, development, individual health efforts, community health center of services, pharmaceutical services to laboratory services. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of discipline, work motivation, and job satisfaction partially or simultaneously on employee performance. This research was conducted to all State Civil Apparatus employees in the Regional Technical Implementation Unit of the Puskesmas Gunungsitoli Alo'oa District with a population of 35 people. The sample technique used was saturated sample so that the sample amounted to 35 people. Data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that: Discipline has a positive and significant effect on performance, motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance, satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on performance, discipline, work motivation, and job satisfaction together have a positive and significant effect on performance.Keywords: Discipline, Work Motivation, Job Satisfaction, Performance  DOI : https://doi.org/10.33005/jdg.v11i2.2687

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of individual characteristic, leadership style and organizational culture toward work satisfaction and organizational commitment to prove the direct and indirect influence of individual characteristic, leadership style and organizational culture toward work satisfaction and organizational commitment, and the role of organizational culture and work satisfaction as intervening variable in various  types of influence relationship.The implementation of local autonomy and globalization era to be a serious challenge for local government institution. Increasing of public demand toward service quality forced the local government to improve and increase the quality in internal as well as external aspect for achieving better professionalism. This study focus on internal improvement especially on work satisfaction and organizational commitment and individual characteristic, leadership style and organizational culture as antecedent variable which predict as cause of unprofessional management in local government organization. Sixteen from twenty five local government in North Sumatera Province are chosen  as samples in this research, and staff with echelon rank II, III and IV as analysis unit. Multistage sampling technique is used base on cluster, stratified and purposive. By means of Slovin postulation, the respondent obtained are 326 people or 82,5%. The data analysis by applying structural equation modeling (SEM) to find out the various influence relationship intra variable research. While qualitative analysis is carried out to explore various information about phenomena that can not be explored by quantitative analysis.The research result indicated that, work satisfaction and organizational commitment were influenced by individual characteristic, leadership style and organizational culture, but individual characteristic and leadership style were not influenced toward organizational culture. Because of that condition,   individual characteristic and leadership style were not influenced toward work satisfaction and organizational commitment through the organizational culture. In this case, the role of  organizational culture that not maximum indicated that organizational culture in local government institution is not applied strongly yet by the organization members. Vice versa, the work satisfaction has quite important role, it is proven by the direct and indirect influence of work satisfaction not only as intervening variable of individual characteristic, leadership style and organizational culture toward organizational commitment, but also as antecedent toward organizational commitment. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh beban kerja, dukungan sosial terhadap kinerja perawat Rumah Sakit Umum Bethesda Gunungsitoli-Nias dengan kejenuhan perawat sebagai variabel intervening. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 84 orang dari perawat Rumah Sakit Umum Bethesda Gunungsitoli-Nias. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey dengan metode sample purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan beban kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kejenuhan; dukungan sosial berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kejenuhan; beban kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja; dukungan sosial berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja; beban kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja melalui kejenuhan; dukungan sosial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja perawat melalui kejenuhan; kejenuhan perawat berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between the division of job and the authority of employees toward work achievement in Section of survey, measurement and mapping at Kantor Pertanahan Kota Medan. In this study, the population are 114 in Kantor Pertanahan Kota Medan. Cencus method is used in this sudy in which consists of 42 employees in the division of survey, measurement and mapping in Kantor Pertanahan Kota Medan. The result of this study indicates that there is positive and significant relationship between the division of job and the authority of employees toward work achievement. Pearson correlation method indicates that the relationship of the division of job is stronger than the authority of employees toward work achievement. Abstract

Education is a process of learning which involves campus actively in developing the students’ potency in having religious spiritual power, self-control, personality, intelligence, morality, and skill needed by them and society. Therefore, each higher education needs to recognize its service quality to the students by using the five dimensions: tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The research used descriptive explanatory method. The data were gathered by using questionnaires. The population was 1,298 alumni of the Department of BDP (Plantation Crop Culture) of STIPA, Medan, and 93 of them were used as the samples. The data were analyzed by using SPSS 22 software program. The result of the research showed that responsiveness had direct, positive, and significant influence on alumni’s satisfaction, assurance had direct, positive, and significant influence on alumni’s satisfaction, and empathy had direct, positive, and significant influence on alumni’s satisfaction at STIPAP, Medan. Tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and alumni’s satisfaction simultaneously had positive and significant influence on alumni’s satisfaction at STIPAP, Medan. Tangibles had direct, positive, and significant influence on alumni’s loyalty, alumni’s satisfaction had direct, positive, and significant influence on alumni’s loyalty, responsiveness had indirect, positive, and significant influence on alumni’s loyalty through alumni’s satisfaction as intervening variable, assurance had indirect, positive, and significant influence on alumni’s loyalty through alumni’s satisfaction as intervening variable,, and empathy had indirect, positive, and significant influence on alumni’s loyalty through alumni’s satisfaction as intervening variable at STIPAP, Medan.
