Abstract

The development of Islamic society in the millennial era in Indonesia today is quite dynamic. Education progress is one of the road graders for their vertical mobility. At the next level, this progress significantly led to a community that came to be known as the Muslim middle class, which offered features and dynamics of Islamic life that integrated with modernity. Further development, a millennial generation emerged that was triggered by the advancement of information-communication technology, along with the growth of new traditions known as Islamic popular culture, including the Hijrah trend. This study wants to look at the trends of Hijrah and the background of the reconstruction of the identity of millennial Muslim generations while at the same time able to blend in with modernity at state universities in Lombok. The paradigm used is a qualitative paradigm based on field research. The results of this study indicate that the Hijrah attribute that is trending among Lombok millennials is the wear of fashionable syar'i clothing such as veils with various models and colours, syar'i veils, fashionable headscarves, increased observance of worship, Islamic quotes on social media accounts, and lengthening the beard.

Abstract

This study aims to increase student creativity through the Inquiry Learning Model in social studies class IV content at MI NW Dasan Agung. The type of research used was classroom action research (CAR), which was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings and going through several stages such as: planning stage, acting stage, observation stage and reflection (reflecting). while data collection techniques use Observation Sheets, Questionnaires, and Documentation. The results of this study indicate that the use of the Inquiry Learning Model can increase student creativity. This can be seen from the results of the questionnaire data obtained by students, the creativity of students using the Inquiry Learning Model has increased from cycle I to cycle II, in cycle I the percentage obtained reached 47.26%, while after making improvements in cycle II, then the percentage obtained was 89.9% in the very good category. So that it is clear that the application of the Inquiry Learning Model in social studies content can increase the creativity of class IV MI NW Dasan Agung Mataram City.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat kapasitas guru di Sekolah Dasar (SD) dan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) dalam mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka. Dalam era pendidikan yang terus berkembang, peran guru sebagai penggerak utama dalam proses pembelajaran sangatlah vital. Kurikulum Merdeka menawarkan fleksibilitas dan otonomi dalam pengajaran, sehingga memerlukan pemahaman dan keterampilan yang mendalam dari para pendidik. Melalui serangkaian pelatihan dan workshop, peserta akan dibekali dengan strategi dan metode pengajaran yang sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip Kurikulum Merdeka. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya akan meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogis guru, tetapi juga mendorong kreativitas dan inovasi dalam pembelajaran. Diharapkan, penguatan kapasitas ini dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih inklusif dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan siswa. Dengan melibatkan semua pemangku kepentingan, termasuk kepala sekolah dan komite, pengabdian masyarakat ini berupaya membangun ekosistem pendidikan yang mendukung penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka secara efektif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di tingkat dasar, serta mempersiapkan generasi muda yang lebih siap menghadapi tantangan global.Abstract:  This community service program aims to strengthen the capacity of teachers in elementary schools (SD) and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum. In this era of ever-evolving education, the role of teachers as key drivers in the learning process is vital. The Merdeka Curriculum offers flexibility and autonomy in teaching, requiring educators to have a deep understanding and skills. Through a series of training sessions and workshops, participants will be equipped with teaching strategies and methods aligned with the principles of the Merdeka Curriculum. This approach will not only enhance teachers' pedagogical competencies but also foster creativity and innovation in learning. It is hoped that this capacity building will create a more inclusive and responsive learning environment for students. By involving all stakeholders, including school principals and committees, this community service initiative aims to build an educational ecosystem that supports the effective implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum.
