Abstract

Today, mobile devices are very popular with the public and the android operating system become the most famous mobile phone in the world because of its sophistication and efficiency to be everywhere. One feature that is often used in Android is a game. Learning by the method of reading through a book directly usually causes boredom for a reader while studying. Because of the identical content of the book, it usually contains only ordinary writing and pictures, so that a reader tends to get bored and lazy to learn more. Therefore, the author makes an adventure game that combines games and education, as a medium for learning and playing that is interesting. Game level consists of three levels where each level is given questions about accounting learning with different levels of difficulty. Making this game application is intended for Vocational High School students majoring in Accounting as well as for the general public to increase knowledge about accounting. This game was created using the Construct2 application based on HTML5 and Adobe Photoshop. Based on the results of research and submission of the questionnaire that the author did, it was found that the percentage of answers to the questions of 10 respondents stated that this game can increase knowledge about accounting, and overcome boredom in learning accounting.

Abstract

Objectives : To analyze the correlations of elderly fitness exercise with fitness measured by 6-minute walk test (6-MWT) and balance measured by Berg Balance Scale (BBS) of geriatrics in nursing home.Methods: Cross-­ sectional observational study of 51 elderly who lived in nursing home that conducted in December 2009 to January 2010.Attendance of subject doing elderly fitness exercise was rated by 2 months previously recorded to one month after trial. We recorded the weekly frequency of doing the exercise for 12 weeks (the 3 months). At the observation, fitness was measured by 6-MWT, balance was measured by BBS.Results: A positive and an significant correlation between number of exercise in 12 weeks of observation to 6-MWT was analyzed by Pearson correlation 0.418, p=0.002, and also positive and significant correlation to BBS was found 0.353, p=0.011. There were also positive and significant correlation between exercise frequency to 6-­MWT which analyzed by Spearman’s correlation 0.408, p=0.003 andto BBS as well Spearman’s correlation 0.404, p=0.003.Conclusions:The Elderly fitness exercise improves geriatric fitness that measured by 6-MWT and also improves balance measured by BBS in nursing home. The frequent exercise perfomed also correlates to elderly fitness which measure by 6-MWT and to balance that measured by BBS.Keywords:Fitness,balance, eld erly, 6 minute walk test, berg balance scale, ecercise, geriatric fitness exercise

Abstract

Stunting is a malnutrition condition in toddlers who have less height compared to children their age, and anemia is one of the main causes. Adolescent girls who experience anemia are at high risk of developing it until pregnancy, negatively impacting fetal development and causing Low Birth Weight (BBLR) or prematurity. The "SIRTUIN" Community Empowerment Program by PPK ORMAWA BEM FK UPR aims to reduce stunting in Pahandut Village, Palangka Raya City, which has a high stunting rate. One of the programs, ARTERI, focuses on adolescent girls in MTs and MA Darul Ulum to prevent anemia. This activity includes counseling, hemoglobin (Hb) screening, and pre and post tests to measure student knowledge. Of the 62 participants, 11 students were diagnosed with anemia with an average Hb level of 13.37 g/dl. Counseling increased anemia awareness from an average score of 65.48 to 84.84. The results showed a significant increase in awareness and knowledge about anemia after the activity, signaling the effectiveness of the program. The activity succeeded in raising awareness and health of adolescent girls related to anemia, with the hope of preventing stunting in the future.

Abstract

Peningkatan kualitas pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) menjadi krusial di era digital, menuntut guru untuk mampu mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Namun, kompetensi guru PAUD, khususnya dalam pemanfaatan media digital interaktif, masih menjadi tantangan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru PAUD anggota HIMPAUDI di Kuburaya melalui pelatihan intensif. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendidikan masyarakat berupa in house training yang berfokus pada pengenalan, operasional, dan perancangan pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi edukasi interaktif dan storytelling digital. Sasaran kegiatan adalah 40 guru PAUD anggota HIMPAUDI Kabupaten Kuburaya yang dipilih secara purposif. Data dikumpulkan melalui pre-test, post-test, dan kuesioner kepuasan, kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif (statistik deskriptif dan uji-t berpasangan) serta kualitatif. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan guru yang signifikan (rata-rata skor pre-test 70,13 menjadi post-test 94,87) dengan nilai p < 0.05, serta tingkat kepuasan peserta yang sangat tinggi (rata-rata 4.6 dari 5). Pembahasan menegaskan efektivitas pelatihan berbasis praktik langsung dalam peningkatan kompetensi. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kapasitas guru PAUD, mendorong inovasi pembelajaran, dan merekomendasikan keberlanjutan program serupa serta pembentukan komunitas praktisi untuk pendampingan.
