Abstract

This research was conducted to develop human resource management based on e-learning using the Edlink platform and evaluate its effectiveness on the quality of elementary school teachers. In this study, the Research and Development (R&D) method with 4 stages (4D) was used. Expert validation results show that this development is very feasible with a feasibility validation percentage of 91.67%, practicality of 92%, and effectiveness of 89.5%. The teacher's response to this development was very positive with a percentage of 87.9%, indicating that the development of HR management based on e-learning assisted by Edlink is very appropriate to use as an effort to improve the quality of teachers in online learning. It can be concluded that this development is effectively and practically used as a learning medium to improve the quality of teachers in schools, especially in the current online learning context.

Abstract

The lack of teachers' ability to create science learning media that is integrated with technology and information for grade V elementary schools prompted this research. The purpose of this research is to create a valid, practical and effective e-Learning product for the fifth grade science class in elementary schools. The research method used is Research and Development and refers to the ADDIE development model. Data collection techniques are divided into 2, specifically Qualitative and Quantitative data. Qualitative data had been received from suggestions and comments by means of validators and practitioners. The media became validated by 2 material professional lecturers, 2 media professional lecturers, and 1 language professional lecturer, and tested by 2 instructors and 10 students for practicality, and 31 college students for effectiveness. Quantitative information was acquired from the results of validator and practitioner questionnaire exams. Data analysis techniques uses a Likert scale and a paired sample t-test. The results of the validation and testing of science lessons show that the Media Media e-Learning based on the Flipped Classroom Model using the Teachmint application on Ecosystem Theme 5 is said to be very valid with a score of 91, very practical with a value of 92.5 and very effective 92.1. Based on the results of the data acquisition, it shows that e-Learning using the Teachmint application for science learning outcomes is considered very valid, very practical, and very effective in learning science in elementary schools.

Abstract

Development research has been conducted that produces teaching materials in the form of digital physics books aided by the application of Sigil based on discovery learning to students' self efficacy on optical devices and global warming. The study was conducted at MAN 2 Padang in class XI MIA 4 and XI MIA 6. The research method used was Research and Development and refers to the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The physics digital book was validated by 2 material expert lecturers, 2 media expert lecturers, and 1 linguist lecturer, and tested by 2 educators and 10 students for practicality, and 31 students for effectiveness. The results of the validation and trial show that digital books on optical material are said to be very valid with a value of 93.66, very practical with a value of 85.4 and very effective 85.28. While the global warming material is said to be very valid 93.66, very practical with a value of 85.46, and very effective with a value of 85.28. Based on the results of the acquisition of data shows that digital books aided by the application of Sigil based on discovery learning on the self efficacy of students are categorized as very valid, very practical, and very effective in using physics learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the influence of the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) cooperative learning model assisted by the Quizizz application on learning outcomes and student creativity in Social Studies for Grade V elementary students. Employing a quantitative quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group, the research involved 36 students divided into an experimental group (STAD + Quizizz) and a control group (conventional instruction). Data were collected through pretests and posttests measuring cognitive learning outcomes and creativity, with creativity assessed via open-ended tasks using Munandar’s fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration indicators. Data analysis utilized Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) followed by independent t-tests after verifying parametric assumptions. The results revealed that the STAD-Quizizz intervention significantly and simultaneously improved both learning outcomes and creativity (Pillai’s Trace = 0.675, p = 0.002). Follow-up tests confirmed significant positive effects on learning outcomes (p = 0.002, d = 1.47) and creativity (p = 0.002, d = 1.98), with large effect sizes indicating strong practical impact. Students in the experimental group achieved substantially higher posttest scores and demonstrated enhanced creative thinking compared to the control group. In conclusion, integrating STAD with Quizizz effectively fosters academic mastery and creative dispositions, supporting its adoption as an innovative, student-centered pedagogical strategy in elementary Social Studies.

Abstract

This study examines the optimization of elementary school principals’ roles as learning supervisors to enhance teacher performance in Siulak Mukai District. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through non-participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis involving seven principals and seven teachers across seven schools. Results indicate that principals implement structured, participatory supervision utilizing classroom visits, individual coaching, and peer observation. Reflective feedback is consistently provided within one day post-observation. Teacher performance shows marked improvement across quality, quantity, timeliness, resource efficiency, autonomy, and collaborative engagement. Key optimization strategies include needs-based professional development, non-material recognition, flexible scheduling, and contextual adaptation to infrastructural constraints. The study concludes that reframing academic supervision from administrative inspection to continuous professional mentoring significantly elevates teacher performance and cultivates a collaborative school culture. Sustainable supervision in resource-limited settings requires adaptive leadership, systematic follow-up, and contextual flexibility. These findings highlight the critical role of instructional coaching in fostering teacher professionalism and improving educational outcomes.
