Abstract

Red Chili (Capsicum annuum L.) is an annuals of the eggplant family (Solanaceae). This plant comes from the American continent, precisely in the Peruvian area, and extends to other areas on the continent. The average consumption of red chili per capita of Indonesian people is 500 grams/year, 118,800 tons per year. Chili production in Indonesia has increased from year to year, in 2021 chili production reached 2,747,108 tons. Fruit caterpillars (helicoverpa armigera) are pests that often attack important plants in Indonesia. This pest usually attacks young fruits by making holes and eating them. An effort that farmers often make to control this pest is to use insecticides. Insecticides are chemicals that function to eradicate annoying insects. Common active ingredients applied for fruit caterpillar control are Chlorpyrifos, Chlorantraniliprol, Cipermethrin, Deltamethrin. This research was conducted in Ambit Village, Waled District, Cirebon Regency, West Java Province. The implementation time lasts for 3 months (July to September 2023). The method used in this study was Randomized Group Design (RGD) consisting of 5 treatments of various insecticide active ingredients and control (without treatment) repeated 5 times so that there were 25 experimental plots with treatment A (Chlorpyrifos), B (Chlorantraniliprol), C (Cipermethrin), D (Deltamethrin), and E (Control). The concentration of insecticide used is 2 ml / liter. The experimental results showed that the treatment of insecticide active ingredients had a real influence on the intensity of fruit caterpillar pest attacks (Helicoverpa amigera) and on other pests such as whitefly (Bemisia tabaci). Insecticides have no real effect on the intensity of chili plant disease attacks such as anthracnose disease (Colletotrichum gleosporioides). The insecticide applied also does not cause phytotoxicity to the growth of chili plants. The active ingredients of insecticides Chlorpyrifos, Chlorantraniliprol and Sipermethrin gave better results when compared to Deltrametrin and control insecticides. Thehighest harvest result was obtained from the treatment of the insecticide Chlorantraniliprol, as much as 10.31 kg/plot, or equivalent to 10.31 tons/ hectare.

Abstract

This purpose of the experiment to investigate the effect of NPK Fertilizer and Zeolit on Growth and Yield Of Shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) of Bima Brebes Cultivar.The experiment was conducted at Babakan Village, Pakusamben Sub- Distric Cirebon Regency, West Java. The location above 9 m at high of sea level, Latosol field, the type of rain includ the type of D rain (medium). The research was conducted on March until May 2017.The method used to experimental method using a factorial Randomized Block Design pattern, the treatment consists of two factors were repeated three times. The first factor was dosage of NPK fertilizer that consisted of three levels M1 (400 kg/ha), M2 (500 kg/ha) and M3 (600 kg/ha). While the second factor is dosage zeolit that consist of four levels Z0 (kontrol), Z1 (2 ton/ha), Z2 (4 ton/ha) and Z3 (6 ton/ha).The results showed there was interaction between dosage of NPK and zeolite on the plant height at 25 and 35 DAP (Days After Plant), number of tillers at 35 and 45 DAP, and dry weight of bulb per plot. The treatment of NPK 600 kg/ha (M3) fertilizer gave the best result on dry weight per plot which produces 3,51 kg/plot, or equivalent to 15,3 ton/ha or Z3 (zeolite 6 ton / ha) gave the best result on dry weight of bulbs per plot which produces 3.71 kg/plot or equivalent to 16,2 tons/ha. Plant of height at 24 and 45 DAP was positively corrected with dry weight of bulb per plot.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of various manures and spacing on the growth and yield of carrots (Daucus carota L). The research was conducted in Sanggarahiang Village, Darma District, Kuningan Regency, West Java. The location is located at an altitude of 1100-1200 meters above sea level (masl), the type of rain is type C (rather wet). The time of the research was carried out from July to November 2022. This study was arranged based on a randomized block design (RAK) with 2 treatment factors and 3 replications. The first factor was manure which consisted of three levels, namely chicken manure, goat manure and cow manure, while the second factor was plant spacing which consisted of three levels namely (25 cm x 20 cm), (30 cm x 20 cm) , and (35 cm x 20 cm). The results showed that the combination of chicken manure treatment and 30 cm x 20 cm spacing, then chicken manure and 25 cm x 20 spacing had a significant effect on the yield components, namely tuber length, tuber weight per sample and per plot. The results also showed that the combination of chicken manure treatment and a spacing of 25 cm x 20 cm gave a good average tuber weight per plot of 2,40 kg our equivalent 12,8 ton/ha.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the combined concentration of shallot extract and cutting material on growth of jasmine (Jasminum sambac. L). This research was carried out in the village of Cilengkrang Girang, Pasaleman District, Cirebon Regency. In April to July 2021. The method in this research is the experimental method with non factorial completely randomized design. The treatment consisted of combination of cutting materials and shallot extract concentration. (A)= top stam cutting + concentration of 50%, (B) = middle stam cutting + concentration of 50%, (C)= bottom stam cutting + concentration of 50%, (D)= top stam cutting + concentration of 75%, (E)= middle stam cutting + concentration of 75%, (F)= bottom stam cutting + concentration of 75%, (G)= top stam cutting + concentration of 100%, (H)= middle stam cutting + concentration of 100%, (I)= bottom stam cutting + concentration of 100%. The treatment combination consisted of 9 and all were repeated 3 times, and there are 27 experimental unit treatments. The result show that the concentration of shallot extract and cutting material had no significant effect on growth of jasmine (Jasminum sambac. L) cultivar Bandar Arum.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh dosis kompos jerami padi dan konsentrasi PGPR terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil padi (Oryza sativa L.) kultivar Ciherang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di desa Panongan Lor, Kecamatan Sedong, Kabupaten Cirebon, Jawa Barat, Indonesia. Pada bulan Mei sampai dengan bulan Agustus 2020. Lokasi terletak pada ketinggian 120 mdpl, jenis tanah liat. Curah hujan pada daerah penelitian termasuk dalam kriteria sedang (D). Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimen dengan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) factorial. Perlakuan terdiri dari 2 factor dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama yaitu dosis kompos jerami padi yang terdiri dari 3 taraf (4, 8, 12 ton/ha). Faktor kedua yaitu konsentrasi PGPR yang terdiri dari 3 taraf (5.5, 7.5, 9.5 ml/liter). Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan terdapat interaksi antara dosis kompos jerami padi dan PGPR (Plant Growth Promothing Rhizobacter) terhadap tinggi tanaman 35 HST, jumlah anakan per rumpun 35 HST, jumlah anakan produktif per rumpun, panjang malai, jumlah gabah per malai, bobot gabah kering panen per petak dan bobot gabah kering giling per petak. Akan tetapi tidak terdapat interaksi terhadap tinggi tanaman 28 dan 42 HST, jumlah anakan per rumpun 28 dan 42 HST, volume akar, jumlah gabah bernas per malai, bobot gabah kering panen per rumpun, bobot gabah kering giling per rumpun dan bobot 1000 butir gabah. Terdapat korelasi yang nyata antara komponen pertumbuhan (tinggi tanaman 35 HST dan jumlah anakan per rumpun 28, 35 HST) dengan bobot gabah kering giling per petak.

Abstract

Sweet corn productivity in the country is still low when compared to productivity abroad, the main factors that cause low corn yields in Indonesia are the use of local varieties, lack of soil fertility coupled with inadequate fertilization and pest and disease attacks. This experiment aims to determine the effect of Concentration and Application Interval of Chlorantraniliprole Active Ingredient Insecticide on the intensity of Spodoptera frugiperda J.E Smith (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) attack and yield of Sweet Corn (Zea mays saccaharata sturt). The experiment was conducted in Getasan Village, Depok District, Cirebon Regency, in January-April 2023. The research method used a factorial pattern Randomized Group Design consisting of two factors, namely concentration and application interval. The results showed that the concentration and application interval of the active ingredient Chlorantraniliprole had a significant effect on the intensity of Spodoptera frugiperda attack and the yield of sweet corn (Zea mays saccaharata sturt). Chlorantraniliprole concentration of 3 cc/liter with 2 application intervals once a day was able to reduce the intensity of Spodoptera frugiperda attack up to 9.47%. Chlorantraniliprole concentration of 2 cc/liter with 2 application intervals once was able to produce 10.8 kg/plot of corn or equivalent to 19.2 ton/h (80% effective land).

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat khususnya kelompok sadar wisata tentang penguatan kelembagaan kelompok tani dan wisata melalui penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Penyuluhan dan pelatihan dilakukan dengan metode ceramah mengunakan LCD dengan contoh-contoh gambar dan materi yang representatif sesuai tema, setelah itu dilakukan praktek langsung.  Pendalaman untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta pelatihan dilakukan dengan diskusi dan tanya-jawab antar peserta dan pemateri dan antar peserta. Pemateri yang memberikan ceramah  dan pelatihan mempresentasikan materinya dengan topik pembahasan, yaitu :Strategi pengandial OPT padi. Setelah semua topik di presentasikan lalu dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan tanya jawab dan diskusi. Pre-test berupa pertanyaan lisan kepada beberapa peserta dan post-test kepada semua peserta dilakukan untuk evaluasi keberhasilan penyuluhan. Selanjutnya, setelah semua materi disampaikan dan dimengerti peserta, lalu dilaksanakan praktek aplikasi langsung pada kelompok tani. Luaran yang diharapkan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah  1). Publikasi artikel ilmiah hasil pegabdian pada jurnal nasional, 2). Publikasi pada media massa cetak/elektronik dan media sosial, 3). Petanimampu memperkuat dan mengembangkan kelembaagaan Kelompok Tani serta dapat memahami dan mengaplikasikan Pengendalian OPT.Abstract. The purpose of this service activity is to increase the knowledge and understanding of the community, especially the tourism awareness group, about strengthening the institutionalization of farmer and tourism groups through counseling and training. Counseling and training were carried out using a lecture method using an LCD with examples of images and representative materials according to the theme, after which direct practice was carried out. In-depth study to increase the understanding of training participants was carried out through discussions and questions and answers between participants and presenters and between participants. The presenters who gave lectures and training presented their materials with discussion topics, namely: Rice OPT control strategies. After all topics were presented, it was continued with question and answer and discussion activities.
