Abstract

Wilayah kecamatan Pupuan kabupaten Tabanan-Bali yang berada di dataran tinggi di kaki gunung Batukaru menjadikannya tempat yang ideal untuk mengembangkan perkebunan kopi. Mitra yang digandeng untuk PKM ini yaitu Industri Rumah Tangga (IRT) ?Paras Putra Jaya? yang beralamat di desa Padangan. Produksi kopi Robusta bubuk yang diberi brand ?Dua Cangkir? ini telah dijalankan sejak tahun 2002. Beberapa permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh mitra saat proses produksi diantaranya penjualan yang menurun karena terlalu banyak adanya pesaing, mesin-mesin yang digunakan masih manual serta kemasan yang masih sederhana. Kemudian pada manajemen pemasaran, diperlukan riset pasar untuk mengetahui segmen pasar dan minat konsumen, serta diperlukan promosi tambahan baik secara offline maupun online. Solusi yang disepakati bersama antara tim PKM dan mitra adalah, pada bagian produksi, menambahkan varian baru yakni kopi rasa coklat yang khas dengan mencampurkan biji kakao kering hasil perkebunan masyarakat sekitar, pengadaan mesin, serta pembuatan kemasan baru dengan tampilan yang menarik dan modern.  Sedangkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas manajemen usaha, maka solusinya adalah dengan melakukan riset pasar, memberikan pelatihan dan mendampingi mitra dalam pembuatan iklan pada media online serta memberikan sebuah aplikasi penjualan dan website usaha kepada IRT ?Paras Putra Jaya?.

Abstract

Tofu is rich in protein, making it good for daily consumption. Its delicious taste and affordable price make tofu a favorite food for people from various backgrounds. The increase in soybean prices does not prevent tofu entrepreneurs from continuing their production. Similarly, the reason why community service partners have started their own small independent businesses that produce various flavored fried tofu is that the raw material in the form of tofu is easily obtained and the price is still affordable, even though it has increased. The partners in this community service started their business in 2020. The crispy fried tofu produced by the partners is named Tahu OPPA, employing four employees, and the partners need a medium that can introduce their products and businesses to more people. This can help increase consumer awareness about the existence of the partner's business. Since starting the crispy fried tofu business, the partners have faced obstacles in terms of knowledge and skills to create and manage a website, as well as obstacles in digital marketing strategies to attract customers to make purchases of their products. The activity began with an analysis of the partner's situation, followed by providing assistance to the partners in creating a business profile website. The second activity continued with providing an understanding of digital marketing strategies utilizing social media to encourage consumers to make purchases

Abstract

In language learning, there are four skills that must be mastered by the learners, such as speaking, reading, listening, and writing. Each of them has its own difficulty, particularly for EFL learners. This study is focused on speaking skill. Speaking English for the English as a foreign language students is difficult, since this skill is a real-time action, it means that the speakers must think fast to find the suitable vocabularies then use the correct pronunciation to convey the messages that they want to deliver. Thus, this present study aims to find out the students’ perception regarding their YouTube video speaking project in English II subject. This study applied a qualitative descriptive method. The data was collected from the interview. There were fourteen students participated on the interview. This can be concluded that the students have positive perception regarding their YouTube video speaking project. The finding shows that speaking English is important for them, they usually learn to speak from internet, particularly from YouTube videos. This speaking project was motivating them to be fluent in speaking English, improving their pronunciation in speaking, adjusting articulation and sentences to be able to convey English according to the sentence, and speaking in front of the camera. It is hoped that this result can facilitate the next researchers in the same area

Abstract

This study explored the nuanced experiences of underachieving students in English language learning. Two data collection techniques were used in this research: quantitative data obtained from the questionnaire and the qualitative data gained from the semi-structured interview. This study involved 96 students (three classes) in the second semester in English Class of ITB STIKOM Bali. The interview was conducted and two distinct type of underachieving students were found: coasting underachievers and anxious underachievers. Coasting underachievers demonstrate disengagement and lack of motivation, while anxious underachievers exhibit high levels of anxiety and self-doubt. Furthermore, based on the questionnaire result, it was found that tailored interventions addressing the specific needs of each type are crucial for fostering academic success and personal fulfillment. The analysis reveals significant factors influencing students' participation, self-perceived proficiency, and challenges in language acquisition. Understanding these factors enables educators to create inclusive learning environments and implement targeted support strategies. Students express preferences for various forms of support, highlighting the importance of personalized, holistic approaches to English language learning. Leveraging these insights, educators can empower underachieving students to thrive academically and develop essential language skills for success in university and beyond. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to investigate the students’ responses to the use of video conference MicrosoftTeams Meeting as a tool in conducting distance learning for English subject. Some theories onthe students’ responses and the results of the previous studies were used as the literaturereviews. Students' interviews were used as the data source of this study. The sampling methodwas used in this study. The finding shows that there were positive and negative responses onthe use of video conference as a tool in English learning subject. There were positive responsesregarding the use of materials on the online meeting through Microsoft Teams, positiveresponse based on the students' character, and also positive response based on the method usedin Microsoft Teams meeting. Moreover, students felt more comfortable and enjoyed the onlineclass meeting because they can face the lecturer virtually without afraid of being criticized bythe other students. On the other hand, it was also revealed the negative responses on the limitedtime given particularly in practicing writing skill, negative response based on student'scharacter, and negative responses regarding the lack of the internet connection in conductingthe teaching and learning process on the Microsoft Teams meeting.Key words: Students’ responses, Distance learning, Microsoft Team MeetingABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadap penggunaan konferensivideo Microsoft Teams Meeting sebagai alat dalam melakukan pembelajaran jarak jauh untukmata kuliah bahasa Inggris. Beberapa teori tentang tanggapan siswa dan hasil penelitiansebelumnya digunakan sebagai bahan kajian pustaka. Wawancara siswa digunakan sebagaisumber data dan metode pengambilan sampel digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa terdapat tanggapan positif dan negatif terhadap penggunaan konferensivideo sebagai alat bantu dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Terdapat tanggapan positifterkait penggunaan materi pada pertemuan daring melalui Microsoft Teams yaitu tanggapanpositif berdasarkan karakter siswa, serta tanggapan positif berdasarkan metode yangdigunakan dalam pertemuan Microsoft Teams. Selain itu, mahasiswa merasa lebih nyamandan menikmati pertemuan kelas secara daring karena dapat berhadapan langsung dengandosen secara virtual tanpa takut dikritik oleh mahasiswa lain. Di sisi lain, terungkap pulatanggapan negatif mengenai keterbatasan waktu yang diberikan khususnya dalam melatihketerampilan menulis, tanggapan negatif yang didasarkan pada karakter siswa, dantanggapan negatif mengenai kurangnya koneksi internet dalam melaksanakan proses belajarmengajar di Microsoft Teams.Kata kunci: Respon siswa, Pembelajaran jarak jauh, Microsoft Team Meeting
