Abstract

The main objective of this study is to prove the effect of investment decisions, capital structure, dividend policy and profitability level on firm value in non-cyclical consumer sector manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2019-2021 period by conducting partial and simultaneous analysis tests. The research method used is a quantitative approach with statistical data using multiple linear analysis with data processed with SPSS software version 25. This study uses purposive sampling technique in determining the criteria for determining the sample, so that 29 research samples are obtained with a total research sample of 87 companies. The coefficient of determination test results show that 48 8% of firm value is influenced by independent variables while the remaining 51.2% is influenced by variables outside the research path. The simultaneous test results prove that investment decision variables, capital structure, dividend policy and profitability simultaneously affect firm value. The test results of investment decision variables and dividend policy partially have no influence on firm value, but capital structure variables and profitability partially have a significant influence on firm value.

Abstract

The development of the capital market in the banking sector requires investors to accurately analyze financial information in making stock investment decisions. The dynamics of the banking industry in Indonesia, influenced by changing economic conditions and market uncertainty, underline the importance of this study. This research aims to analyze the effect of Return on Equity (ROE), Price Earnings Ratio (PER), Price to Book Value (PBV), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on stock investment decisions in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study employs a quantitative approach using secondary data derived from annual financial statements of banking companies. The sample is determined through a purposive sampling method. Data analysis is conducted using multiple linear regression, with hypothesis testing carried out through partial tests, simultaneous tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results indicate that ROE, PER, PBV, and DER have a significant effect on stock investment decisions. These variables are able to explain variations in investment decisions, while other factors outside the model also contribute.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of accounting information systems, leadership style, emotional intelligence, and job satisfaction on employee performance. The population for this study consists of employees at PT. Bank Sumut Headquarters in Medan, with a total of 80 participants relevant to the variables under investigation; the sampling process was determined using the saturation sampling method. A quantitative approach was chosen as the method for this study, and the analysis utilized multiple linear regression. The simultaneous test revealed that all independent variables had a significant impact on the dependent variable. However, when examined partially, AIS and leadership style were not found to be significant in influencing performance. Conversely, emotional intelligence and job satisfaction were found to be significant in influencing performance. The study results indicate that individual personality traits have a stronger impact on employee performance. Therefore, efforts to improve performance should focus more on employee training and self-development.
