Abstract

Kepulauan Seribu is a small-islands cluster's region. It has to be seen as an integrated region in whichsea transportation plmjs a major role in accelerating regional economtj and as a connector as well. Tirelimitation of transportation has its implimtion to the constraint of senrices and goods distnbutions.As a matter of fact, tlrere' s a tendene1; for the local peopl.e to prauide their own trnnsportntion in orderto fulfill tlreir needs. Meanwhile one of the main rol.e of the gonmrnient as a publlic seniant is toprovide mass transportntion for tlze citizen. As indicated biJ tire conditions above with tire purpose oftransportation impravenrent in order to develop integrated small islands cluster's regional therefore,this research is conducted using Integrated Cmstnl Zone Mnnagenrent (ICZM) as an approach. Tireresult of tire study slwwed that almost 90% respondents are not satisfied for tire transportationoperational and 50% respondents quite satisfied for the port facilities. In addition, biJ conducting LQanalysis Kepulauan Senbu identified !ms big potentinl from its fishing sector and from SWOT analysistlrere are sonre strategies identified wlziclz di"liideri into four aspects; transportntion SIJStem, law,regional and public.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe mathematical communication ability in terms of student learning styles in module-assisted Inquiry Based Learning. This study uses a combination method of concurrent embedded design with a population of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Jati Kudus and the research sample is based on cluster random sampling. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, mathematical communication ability tests, learning style questionnaires and interviews. The results showed (1) students with visual learning styles were able to write mathematical ideas into mathematical models, compose and explain completion procedures, (2) students with auditory learning styles were able to express everyday events in mathematical language or symbols, write mathematical ideas into in mathematical models, compiling and explaining completion procedures and (3) students with kinesthetic learning styles are able to write mathematical ideas into mathematical models and develop completion procedures.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan studi kelayakan pengembangan terminal petikemas di Pelabuhan Belang Belang. Data yang digunakan adalah kombinasi dari data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif sebagai dasar untuk melakukan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pelabuhan Belang Belang layak untuk dapat dikembangkan menjadi pelabuhan terminal petikemas, namun perlu memperhatikan kebutuhan fasilitas pelabuhan yang saat ini masih terbatas. Beberapa hal yang menjadi pertimbangan kelayakan pengembangan adalah (1) berdasarkan hasil tinjau ulang kebijakan arah pengembangan Pelabuhan Belang Belang telah diakomodir dalam rencana kebijakan pembangunan dari tingkat nasional hingga daerah dan sesuai dengan rencana induk pelabuhan nasional untuk diarahkan sebagai pelabuhan utama tersier, (2) kondisi hinterland sebagai data dukung kelayakan secara ekonomi Pelabuhan Belang Belang, yaitu berupa potensi investasi dan peluang berdasarkan komponen sektor pembentuk PDRB Provinsi Sulawesi Barat bahwa setiap kabupaten di Provinsi Sulawesi Barat memiliki keunggulan komparatif dengan nilai LQ tertinggi sebesar 5.19 untuk sektor industri pengolahan, (3) proyeksi potensi arus barang menunjukkan kecenderungan tren arus barang mengalami peningkatan yang ditunjukkan dengan kurva eksponensial dan (4) letak pelabuhan berada di lokasi yang strategis, namun Pelabuhan Belang Belang masih membutuhkan penataan ruang terkait rencana pengembangan dengan permukiman warga disekitar pelabuhan serta peningkatan fasilitas untuk pengembangan terminal peti kemas.
