Abstract

The purpose of this study is to partially examine the variables of labor conflict, work environment, and work stress that affect employee job satisfaction, and the simultaneous effects of labor conflict, work environment, and work stress on employee job satisfaction. is to decide The research type used in this study is an associative and quantitative approach. The sampling method uses a saturated sample of 84 full-time employees data collection techniques  interviews, documentation studies and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques in this study used classical acceptance tests and multiple regression analysis. As a result, we found that the inconsistent variables partially negatively affected job satisfaction and had a small effect. Working environment variables can have a large positive impact on employee job satisfaction. Fluctuating work stress has a small but positive impact on employee job satisfaction, simultaneously variables of work conflict, work environment and work stress affects employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

Earnings management is an action taken by company management to influence reported earnings. The purpose of this study is to analyze earnings management of Perum Perumnas Regional I Medan by using financial ratios, namely leverage ratios and profitability ratios for the period 2014-2017. Earnings management in this study is proxied by discretionary accrual (DA) and measured using the Jones Modified Model. While the leverage ratio is proxied by the debt to assets ratio (DAR) and profitability ratio is proxied by the return on assets ratio (ROA). This study uses quantitative data and data is collected by documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis based on time series methods. The results of the study concluded that Perum Perumnas Regional I Medan practices earnings management with a pattern of increasing profits in 2014, 2016 and 2017. Earnings management practices are motivated because of high leverage values. While profitability does not motivate managers to practice earnings management, because high or low profitability generated by the company is ignored by investors. Abstract

Purpose—This study examines the impact of e-service quality on e-loyalty among female online shoppers in Medan, with e-trust and e-satisfaction as mediating factors.Methodology—The research population of research population is all female people in Medan City who are making online purchases on Facebook and Instagram applications. This study used a non-probability sampling method, using an online questionnaire administered through Google Forms to collect data from 170 people. Data were analyzed with the help of the SmartPLS program and structural equation modeling.   Findings – The results showed that e-service quality positively and significantly affects e-satisfaction (p0.05). E-service quality positively and significantly affects e-trust. E-service quality positively and significantly affects e-loyalty. E-satisfaction positively and significantly affects e-loyalty. E-trust positively and significantly affects e-loyalty. E-satisfaction positively and significantly plays a role in mediating the effect of e-service quality on e-loyalty. E-trust positively and significantly plays a role in mediating the effect of e-service quality on e-loyalty.Originality/Novelty – This research model includes four variables and utilizes the notion of mediation by using SEM-PLS to evaluate each relationship in the model.Implications—This study's results are expected to be input and a foundation for Facebook and Instagram application users and companies, helping them determine the right strategy to increase consumer e-loyalty.

The results of this study indicate that online customer reviews have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, free shipping promotions have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, online customer reviews have a positive and significant influence on purchasing interest, free shipping promotions have a positive and significant influence on purchasing interest, purchasing interest has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, online customer reviews have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions mediated by purchasing interest and free shipping promotions have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions mediated by purchasing interest.
