Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is one of the most common gynecological problems experienced by adolescence girls. Introduction to non-pharmacological treatment of dysmenorrhea in adolescence girls is required to reduce the risks arising from dysmenorrhea with pharmacology that has side effects on the body. Moringa Oleifera and Ginger Extracts are non-pharmacological therapies that have analgesic and anti-inflammatory benefits. To find out the comparison of the effectiveness of Moringa Oleifera and Ginger Extracts against the intensity of dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls. The research methodology was a Study Case Literature Review of dysmenorrhea with the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) before and after the intervention. There was a decrease in the intensity of dysmenorrhea in the two respondents. The comparison result was that Ginger Extract was more effective (83.3%) than Moringa Oleifera Extract (50%) in reducing the intensity of dysmenorrhea. We expected that Moringa Oleifera and Ginger Extracts could be an alternative in handling both prevention and non-pharmacological treatment of dysmenorrhea.

Abstract

The learning model is one of the external factors that affect motivation and learning achievement. Use of learning models that are not in accordance with the material will become obstacles in achieving objectives and less effective and efficient learning. Abstract

Kehamilan trimester III merupakan periode rentan terhadap perubahan fisik dan psikologis, sehingga dukungan suami sangat penting untuk menjaga kesehatan mental ibu. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan suami dengan kesehatan mental ibu hamil trimester III di UPTD Puskesmas Padasuka Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional, melibatkan 21 ibu hamil yang dipilih melalui kuota sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner dukungan suami dan SRQ-20, kemudian data dianalisis dengan uji Chi-Square menunjukkan 11 responden (52%) mendapat dukungan suami dan 15 responden (72%) tidak mengalami gangguan mental. Hasil uji statistik nilai P Value 0,02 maka  terdapat hubungan signifikan antara dukungan suami dengan kesehatan mental ibu hamil. Kesimpulannya, maka semakin besar dukungan suami semakin kecil resiko terjadinya gangguan mental pada ibu hamil. Oleh karena itu, perlu ditingkatkan dalam proses kehamilan guna mendukung kesehatan mental ibu hamil.   The third trimester of pregnancy is a vulnerable period due to physical and psychological changes, making a husband’s support crucial for maintaining maternal mental health. This study aimed to determine the relationship between husband support and mental health among third-trimester pregnant women at UPTD Puskesmas Padasuka, Bandung. The method used was quantitative correlation analysis with a cross-sectional design, involving 21 pregnant women selected through quota sampling. The research instruments consisted of a husband support questionnaire and the SRQ-20. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test, which showed that 11 respondents (52%) received support from their husbands and 15 respondents (72%) did not experience mental health disorders. The statistical test resulted in a p-value of 0.02, indicating a significant relationship between husband’s support and the mental health of pregnant women. In conclusion, the greater the support from the husband, the lower the risk of mental health disorders in pregnant women. Therefore, increasing husband support during pregnancy is essential to promote maternal mental health.

Abstract

Masa remaja merupakan fase kritis dalam perkembangan fisik dan psikologis, di mana bullying menjadi salah satu stresor yang sering dialami dan berdampak pada gangguan kesehatan, termasuk gangguan menstruasi, di SMP Negeri 20 Bandung terdapat 4 orang siswa dari 10 orang mengalami bullying dan diantaranya mengalami gangguan menstruasi. Sehingga Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat bullying dengan gangguan menstruasi pada remaja putri. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain uji korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Dengan jumlah sampel 41 remaja putri kelas 8 di SMPN 20 Bandung, dan menggunakan data uji korelasi Pearson product moment. Diketahui bahwa (54%) responden mengalami bullying dan (95%) diantaranya mengalami gangguan menstruasi. Uji korelasi Pearson menunjukkan nilai p 0,79 (>0,05), sehingga terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara tingkat bullying dengan gangguan menstruasi pada remaja putri di SMPN 20 Bandung. Dan diperlukan perhatian khusus dari pihak sekolah dan orang tua dalam upaya pencegahan bullying sebagai bagian dari menjaga kesehatan reproduksi dan mental remaja putri. Adolescence is a critical phase in physical and psychological development, where bullying is a common stressor and can impact health, including menstrual disorders. At SMP Negeri 20 Bandung, 4 out of 10 students experience bullying, and some of them experience menstrual disorders. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between the level of bullying and menstrual disorders in adolescent girls. This study used a correlational test design with a quantitative approach. The sample size was 41 eighth-grade female adolescents at SMPN 20 Bandung, and data from the Pearson product-moment correlation test was used. It was found that 54% of respondents experienced bullying and 95% of them experienced menstrual disorders. The Pearson correlation test showed a p-value of 0.79 (>0.05), indicating a strong correlation between the level of bullying and menstrual disorders in adolescent girls at SMPN 20 Bandung. Special attention is needed from schools and parents in efforts to prevent bullying as part of maintaining the reproductive and mental health of adolescent girls.
