Abstract

Mathematics learning in elementary schools is often considered difficult and less interesting by students, especially in understanding basic concepts such as plane figures. This has an impact on low learning outcomes due to lack of motivation and active participation in the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of using gimkit learning media on students’ Mathematics learning outcomes in the material “Recognizing plane figures” at SD Naioni. The method used is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design of the on- group pretest-posttest design type.the subjects of the study were one class that was given treatment in the form of learning using Gimkit Media.The results of the study showed an increase in student learning outcomes after using Gimkit media.This proves that Gimkit can be an effective learning media in helping student learning outcomes after using gimkit media. This proves that Gimkit can be aneffective learning media helping students understand plane figure material in a more enjoyable and meaningful way

Abstract

Masalah intolerasi dan politisasi agama tidak bisa dibaca sebagai masalah sesaat di tengah kemajemukan agama di Indonesia, intoleransi dan politisasi agama adalah masalah laten dan selalu rentan untuk meledak. Hal itu merupakan akibat dari prakondisi dasar bahwa setiap agama memiliki aspek dogmatis yang tidak bisa diganggu gugat, yang tidak bisa direlativisir dengan keberadaan agama lain dan tidak gampang didialogkan. Tugas kita adalah membangun tatanan hidup bersama yang aman dan damai secara berkelanjutan, bagaimana membuat masyarakat “melek pluralitas”, yang menerima fakta keberagaman secara apa adanya, sekolah sebagai wadah menerapkan amanat undang-undang tentang toleransi terhadap siswa yang berbeda agama, suku,ras atau golongan. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan tehnik pengumpulan datanya melalui observasi, wawancara, angket dan studi dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan model B. Mathew Miles dan A. Michael Huberman yaitu reduksi data,penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpula/ verifikasi Hasil penelitian yaitu: Pertama, secara umum dalam perlakukan sehari-hari, tidak ditemukan adanya sikap diskriminatif. Kedua, semua sekolah dasar katolik di Kota Kupang mewajibkan semua siswanya untuk mengikuti pelajaran agama katolik. Ketiga, perlu dilakukan sosialisasi amanah Sisdiknas dan pendekatan persuasif oleh pemerintah agar sekolah dasar katolik se-Kota Kupang dapat merubah peraturan yang mewajibkan semua siswa mengikuti pembelajaran agama Katolik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media through the GeoGebra application on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in the topic of geometric solids. This research was motivated by the low understanding of students regarding geometric solid concepts, which are abstract and difficult to visualize through conventional media. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group. The sample consisted of two classes, each with 15 students, divided into an experimental group and a control group. The research instruments included learning outcome tests and student response questionnaires. The results showed that students who learned using GeoGebra AR showed a significant improvement in learning outcomes compared to those taught by conventional methods. GeoGebra AR media provided a more concrete, interactive, and engaging learning experience. Thus, AR-based learning media can be an effective alternative to enhance students' conceptual understanding of mathematics in elementary schools.
