Abstract

In Indonesia, eclampsia is a major cause of maternal death. Eclampsia can be prevented by administering MgSO4 immediately after the diagnosis of severe preeclampsia. However, there are still pre-referral health facilities that do not provide MgSO4 to severe pre-eclampsia mothers. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving MgSO4 to mothers giving birth with severe preeclampsia at the pre-referral health facility at RSUD Jombang on the prevalence of eclampsia. This study is an analytical study using a retrospective cohort design. Based on the estimated sample, 74 mothers were taken from the total population of 119 mothers. The sampling method used simple random sampling. Test analysis using chi square test and Fisher's exact test. Meanwhile, the chance of exposure to risk factors is assessed using Relative Risk (RR). The results of the analysis prove that 2 = 1.014; p = 0.000 which means that there is an effect of MgSO4 on the prevalence of preeclampsia. The results of further analysis obtained a relative risk value (RR) of 1.03, which means that the risk of eclampsia was 1.03 times greater in the group that was not given MgSO4 pre-referral at the site than the mother who was given MgSO4. The conclusion obtained in this study is that there is an effect of giving MgSO4 to mothers giving birth with severe pre-eclampsia at the pre-referral PONEK RSUD Jombang on the occurrence of eclampsia.

Abstract

Hypertension in Pregnancy (HDK) is 6-10% of pregnancy complications and is one of the three highest causes of maternal mortality and morbidity, (Alatas, 2019). For pregnant women in Indonesia, HDK is included in the three highest ranking causes of death for pregnant women, and there are more than 30% of pregnant women who die from HDK. The purpose of this study was to analyze the risk factors for hypertension in pregnancy at RSIA Muslimat Jombang. This research method is Analytical, with a Cross Sectional design with secondary data from patient medical records at RSIA Muslimat Jombang from 14 April 2023 to 20 April 2023. Data were analyzed by Chi Square test. The results showed that 166 patients experienced hypertension in pregnancy. The results of the chi square test showed a significant relationship between age (p = 0.000), number of pregnancies (p = 0.000), nutritional status (p = 0.048) and history of hypertension (p = 0.027) to the incidence of HDK.To achieve a physiological gestational age, optimal conditions are needed, namely good nutritional status during pregnancy, parity must be considered so that it does not become a pathological pregnancy and medical history must be considered so as not to cause complications in the current pregnancy.

Abstract

Postpartum depression affects around 10-15% of all new mothers, but can be up to 35% higher in the demographic group. In developing countries, the prevalence ranges from 5-25%. 4 One study found 19.2% of new mothers diagnosed with major or minor depression in the first three months postpartum, 7.1% of whom had major depression. In another study of 214 women, 86 of them had symptoms of depression (40.2%), but only 25 (11.7%) were significantly diagnosed as depressed. The number of postpartum mothers in the Tembelang Regional PKM is 47 starting from January to August 2018. This study is an analytical study using correlation analytic design regarding social support roles for postpartum psychology in the Jombang District Auction Area PKM. Test of bivariate data analysis using spearman rho hhe total sample in this study was 47 samples with a total sampling technique. From the analysis of this study it can be concluded that it shows that the model variable has p value <0.05. This means that the social support role variable has a significant relationship to postpartum psychology. It is expected that the results of this study can be used as input for basic health services in the work area associated with early screening for postpartum maternal disorders through postpartum visits.
