Abstract

As age increases, many processes of development and growth occur in humans which will stop at one stage, so that in the future there will be many changes in body functions, both physical and psychological, due to the aging process. Brain gym is a form of exercise to improve cognitive function. Objective: To determine the implementation of Brain Gym on changes in the cognitive function of post-menopausal women in Melebung District. Method: This research method uses a descriptive method that uses a nursing care approach for 3 people. Cognitive function was observed with the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) before and after intervention. Conclusion: The results of the study show changes in cognitive function after being given Brain Gym intervention in post-menopausal women. Suggestion: Providing Brain Gym intervention can be an effective way to control cognitive function in post-menopausal women.

Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan salah satu Penyakit tidak menular yang menjadi masalah didunia karena menjadi faktor resiko penyakit seperti jantung, gagal ginjal, diabetes dan stroke, Tujuan dari penulisan karya ilmiah ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi terapi isometric handgrip exercise terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada lansia dengan hipertensi di upt. Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Khusnul Khotimah Di Kota Pekanbaru, Penelitian Ini Dilakukan Sesuai Proses asuhan keperawatan yang dimulai dari pengkajian, diagnosa, intervensi, implementasi dan evaluasi, Karya ilmiah ini terdiri 5 lansia di UPT Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Khusnul Khotimah Kota Pekanbaru yang mengalami hipertensi atau peningkatan tekanan darah. Peneliti mendokumetasikan sekaligus mengajarkan terapi isometric handgrip exercise kepada klien sebanyak 1x selama 5 hari berturut-turut dimulai dari tanggal 7 Juli 2023 sampai dengan 11 Juli 2023. Implementasi terapi isometric handgrip exercise dilakukan selama 5 menit dengan didapatkan hasil yaitu adanya penurunan tekanan darah sistolik maupun diastolik.

Abstract

Burnout is a prolonged response related to stressors that continue to occur in the workplace where the result is a combination of workers and jobs. Nurse fatigue occurs when nurses work more than 80% of their work time. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence burnout in nurses in the inpatient room of Pekanbaru Medical Center hospital in 2019.This research method was descriptive correlation with cross sectional approach done to 35 respondents. Sampling technique using total sampling method. The analysis used is univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using Chi-square test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between workload and burnout (p = 0.024) and there was a significant relationship between leadership style and burnout (p = 0.027). Based on the results of these studies, the researchers recommend that the management of Pekanbaru Medical Center Hospital pay more attention to the level of burnout nurses because the performance of nurses plays an important role in patient care.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is considered to have been achieved if the patient's needs, desires and expectations can be met. In addition, patient satisfaction can be achieved if the performance of the health services they receive is the same or exceeds their expectations. Patient dissatisfaction with health services is influenced by nurses' caring behavior. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between nurses' caring behavior and patient satisfaction levels at Bina Kasih Hospital Pekanbaru. This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional design. This research was conducted in October 2023. The population in this study was all patients at the Outpatient Clinic of Binakasih Hospital Pekanbaru, namely 110 people with a sample of 86 people. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. The measuring tool in this research uses a questionnaire. Data analysis in this study used univariate and bivariate analysis with the chi square test. The research results showed that 54.3% of nurses said they were good at caring behavior. There was a relationship between caring behavior and 60.8% were satisfied with the service. There is a relationship between nurses' caring behavior and patient satisfaction levels at Bina Kasih Hospital Pekanbaru with a p value of 0.003. It is hoped that Adar hospitals can improve the competence of their human resources, especially in the field of nursing, by encouraging them to attend seminars in the field 3of the nursing profession as stated in the hospital planning at the point of increasing employee or human resource competency and also encouraging and planning improvements and improving service supporting facilities.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is not merely a common gynecological issue but a significant health concern that can lead to psychological distress, impaired daily functioning, and increased health risks. Prevalence dysmenorhea in Pekanbaru, with rates reaching as high as 94.4% among adolescent girls. Distraction techniques involving movie-watching have demonstrated significant potential in reducing pain. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of distraction techniques watching movies on the level of menstrual pain in adolescents girl. This research is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental approach with a one group pre and post test research design. The sample in this study amounted to 30 respondent with purposive sampling technique. The implementation. The implementation of this study was carried out by giving a pre-test first, then proceeding with the intervention of watching a movie for 120 minutes, then giving a post-test. from the results of the Paired sample T test analysis test, the P value = 0.000, where the Pvalue is smaller than the Apha value (0.05). It can be concluded that distraction techniques watching movies is effective in reducing menstrual pain in adolescent girl at Public High School 14 Pekanbaru.
