Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis upaya lanjut usia dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dasar di masa pandemic Covid – 19.  Upaya terkait kesehatan dan komunikasi para lanjut usia dianalisis berdasarkan teori kebutuhan Maslow yang terdiri dari kebutuhan fisiologis/physical needs, rasa aman/safety needs, social/social needs, dihargai/self-esteem needs dan aktualisasi diri/self-actualization needs. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan narrative inquiry berbasis kisah narasi 20 responden lanjut usia sebagai penghuni Perumahan Bukit Pamulang Indah-Pamulang Timur, Tangerang Selatan. Data utama dari narasi tersebut diperdalam dengan interview. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam masa pandemic Covid-19, upaya para lanjut usia  terkait kesehatan dan kegiatan sosial memenuhi kelima kebutuhan dasar teori Maslow secara paradoksikal dan adaptif dengan perubahan pola hidup di masa pandemic Covid-19.Kata kunci: Covid-19, pandemi, lanjut usia, teori Maslow. ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to analyze the efforts of the elderly in meeting basic needs during the Covid-19 pandemic. Efforts related to health and social activities for the elderly were analyzed based on Maslow's theory of needs consisting of physiological/physical needs, safety/safety needs, social/ social needs, self-esteem needs and self-actualization needs. The research method used is qualitative research with a narrative inquiry approach based on a narrative story of 20 elderly respondents as residents of Bukit Pamulang Indah Housing Complex, East Tangerang. The main data from the narrative is deepened by interviews. The results showed that during the Covid-19 pandemic, the efforts of the elderly related to health and social activities fulfill the five basic needs of Maslow's theory paradoxically and adaptively due to the changes of lifestyle. Keywords:  Covid 19 ,elderly, Maslow's theory

Abstract

ABSTRACT From year to year, the number of students at SMK Dwi Putra has stagnated in increasing the number of students and does not show enthusiasm to work for teachers and staff. Even though the location of this school is very strategic, which is in front of Jalan Raya Aria Putra, Serua Ciputat, South Tangerang City, Banten Province. Our team sees this problem as a result of unstructured communication patterns between the foundation, teachers and staff. The foundation's work program was created without coordination with teachers, which made teachers not motivated to run the program. Building solid teamwork with edutainment learning is a solution for creating teacher motivation at work. Educational and entertainment contents are harmoniously combined to create enjoyable learning. The results of this activity are expected to provide a comfortable working atmosphere that can increase the motivation of teachers, which in turn will have an impact on the progress of schools and foundations. Keywords: Motivation, Edutainment Learning, and Teamwork ABSTRAK Dari tahun ke tahun, jumlah siswa SMK Dwi Putra mengalami stagnansi pertambahan jumlah muridny serta tidak menampakkan kegairahan bekerja pada guru dan stafnya. Padahal letak sekolah ini sangat strategis yaitu di depan jalan Raya Aria Putra, Serua Ciputat Kota Tangerang Selatan Provinsi Banten. Tim kami melihat persoalan ini sebagai akibat pola komunikasi yang tidak terstruktur antara yayasan, guru dan staf. Program kerja yayasan dibuat tanpa koordinasi dengan guru yang membuat para guru tidak termotivasi dalam menjalankan program tersebut. Membangun teamwork yang solid dengan pembelajaran edutainment merupakan solusi bagi terciptanya motivasi para guru dalam bekerja. Muatan pendidikan dan hiburan dikombinasikan secara harmonis untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan. Hasil kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberi nuansa kerja yang nyaman yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi para guru, yang mana selanjutnya akan berakibat pada kemajuan sekolah dan yayasan. Kata Kunci: Motivasi, Pembelajaran Edutainment, dan Teamwork

Abstract

ABSTRACT One of the elements of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education is Community Service (PKM) which in its implementation is an integral part of the other two dharmas. Its implementation must also involve the entire academic community, namely: lecturers, education staff, students and alumni. SMK SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY AND BUSINEES (STB) which is located at Jln. H. Sulaeman No. 1 RT 01, RW 16 Tugu Sawangan, led by a school principal, namely Nining Nurningsih M. Pd. SMK SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY AND BUSINEES (STB) has 35 teachers, 750 students. The problem currently faced is the lack of change in schools. The principal as a leader is required to have the right alternative solutions to improve the existing school conditions. However, to make changes requires consideration and the right way. If a principal makes changes to the school in an inappropriate manner, this is most likely the result of unstructured communication patterns between the foundation, teachers and staff. Many work programs are made without coordination between the Foundation and teachers. So that school development looks stagnant, because all activities covering the 8 national education standards (SNP) are not fulfilled. This is due to a lack of motivation, so that the teamwork that is built is less solid in carrying out the school work program, the lecturers of the D-III Secretariat of Pamulang University feel called to help the foundation, teachers, and staff in solving the problems they face. Leadership requires the active use of the ability to influence other parties and within a certain time can achieve the organizational goals that have been set. Leadership is the power to influence someone, whether doing something or not doing something, subordinates are led from not by telling or pushing from behind. The problem that always exists in discussing the leadership function is the institutionalized relationship between the leader and those who are led according to mutually agreed rules of the game. Keywords: Organization and Leadership. ABSTRAK Salah satu unsur Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi adalah Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) yang dalam pelaksanaannya merupakan satu kesatuan dengan dua dharma lainnya. Pelaksanaannya pun harus melibatkan segenap civitas akademika, yaitu: dosen, tenaga kependidikan, mahasiswa serta alumni. SMK SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY AND BUSINEES (STB) yang beralamat di Jln. H. Sulaeman No. 1 RT 01, RW 16 Tugu Sawangan, yang dipimpin oleh seorang Kepala Sekolah yaitu Nining Nurningsih M. Pd. SMK SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY AND BUSINEES (STB) mempunyai guru sejumlah 35, siswa 750. Persoalan yang dihadapi pada saat ini adalah kurangnya perubahan di sekolah. Kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin dituntut memiliki alternatif solusi yang tepat untuk memperbaiki kondisi sekolah yang ada. Namun demikian, untuk melakukan perubahan memerlukan pertimbangan dan cara yang tepat. Jika seorang kepala sekolah melakukan perubahan di sekolah dengan cara yang tidak tepat,  Hal ini kemungkinan besar diakibatkan oleh pola komunikasi yang tidak terstruktur antara yayasan, guru dan staff. Banyak program kerja yang dibuat tanpa adanya koordinasi antara Yayasan dengan guru. Sehingga perkembangan sekolah terlihat stagnan, Karena semua kegiatan yang mencakup 8 standar nasional pendidikan (SNP) tidak terpenuhi. Hal tersebut disebabkan kurangnya motivasi, sehingga teamwork yang dibangunpun kurang solid dalam menjalankan program kerja sekolah, dosen Prodi D-III Sekretari Universitas Pamulang merasa terpanggil membantu yayasan, guru, dan staf dalam memecahkan persoalan yang mereka hadapi. Kepemimpinan membutuhkan penggunaan kemampuan secara aktif untuk mempengaruhi pihak lain dan dalam waktu tertentu dapat  mewujudkan tujuan organisasi yang telah ditetapkan. Kepemimpinan merupakan kekuasaan untuk mempengaruhi seseorang, baik dalam mengerjakan sesuatu atau tidak mengerjakan sesuatu, bawahan dipimpin dari bukan dengan jalan menyuruh atau mondorong dari belakang. Masalah yang selalu terdapat dalam membahas fungsi kepemimpinan adalah hubungan yang melembaga antara pemimpin dengan yang dipimpin menurut rules of the game yang telah disepakati bersama. Kata Kunci: Organisasi dan Kepemimpinan.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Sekolah mempunyai kedudukan yang sangat penting dalam pendidikan, selain sebagai tempat proses belajar mengajar, juga merupakan wadah untuk menciptakan anak manusia yang lebih baik kehidupannya melalui proses pendidikan. Guru diharapkan dapat memberikan pengetahuan yang belum di miliki siswa dan mengembangkan pengetahuan siswa sesuai dengan potensi yang dimiliki mereka. Namun yang tak kalah pentingnya dalam proses pendidikan itu adalah terbangunnya kerjasama antar siswa. Kerjasama beregu mengharuskan adanya kekompakkan yang secara langsung dapat menimbulkan rasa percaya diri pada siswa yang kurang percaya diri. Kerjasama tim dapat melahirkan calon pemimpin yang masih tersembunyi dan dari kerjasama tim dapat memperlihatkan kelebihan masing-masing anggautanya. Kerjasama dalam tim dapat menjadi daya dorong yang memiliki energi dan sinergisitas bagi individu-individu yang tergabung dalam teamwork. Tanpa kerjasama yang baik tidak akan memunculkan ide-ide cemerlang. Tema ini dipilih mengingat siswa kelas-10 adalah anak-anak yang datang dari berbagai sekolah, sehingga untuk kerjasama tim, dapat dikatakan belum terbentuk. Sejalan dengan tujuan  utama SMK STB, bahwa mencerdaskan anak bangsa menjadi prioritas,  maka pelatihan Kerjasama Tim dianggap yang paling dibutuhkan oleh para siswa kelas 10. Kerjasama tim akan menyatukan kekuatan serta ide-ide yang akan mengantarkan siswa pada kesuksesan. Dalam kerjasama tim, dibutuhkan koordinasi antar individu serta menimbulkan rasa tanggung-jawab kelompok. Dimana hasinya akan merupakan sinergisitas kekuatan dari beberapa oarang dalam mencapai satu tujuan yang diinginkan. Laporan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini direncanakan terbit dalam jurnal PKM sekretari, dengan tujuan agar dapat diambil manfaatnya oleh civitas akademika serta pembaca lainnya. Kata Kunci : Potensi Diri, Teamwork  ABSTRACT Schools have a very important position in education, apart from being a place for the teaching and learning process, it is also a place for creating better human children through the educational process. Teachers are expected to provide knowledge that students do not yet have and develop students' knowledge according to their potential. But no less important in the educational process is the establishment of cooperation between students. Team collaboration requires cohesiveness which can directly lead to self-confidence in students who lack self-confidence. Teamwork can give birth to potential leaders who are still hidden and from teamwork can show the strengths of each member. Teamwork can be a driving force that has energy and synergy for individuals who are members of teamwork. Without good cooperation, there will be no bright ideas. This theme was chosen considering that the 10th graders are children who come from various schools, so that for teamwork, it can be said that it has not yet been formed. In line with the main goal of SMK STB, that educating the nation's children is a priority, Teamwork training is considered the most needed by grade 10 students. Teamwork will unite strengths and ideas that will lead students to success. Teamwork requires coordination between individuals and creates a sense of group responsibility. Where the result will be a synergism of the strengths of several people in achieving a desired goal. This Community Service Report (PKM) is planned to be published in the secretarial PKM journal, with the aim that the academic community and other readers can benefit from it. Keywords: Self Potential, Teamwork

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan salah satu tugas perguruan tinggi untuk memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat yang meliputi berbagai bidang kehidupan dengan memanfaatkan, mengembangkan dan menerapkan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi dan seni sebagai upaya memberikan sumbangan demi kemajuan masyarakat, Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bekerja sama dengan SMK Letris 1 Indonesia yang berlokasi di Villa Bintaro Indah Jl. Kalimantan I, Jombang, Kec. Ciputat Kota Tangerang Selatan, Banten. Bagi Prodi Administrasi Perkantoran D-III Universitas Pamulang khususnya dalam penyelenggaraan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat selalu disesuaikan dengan sumber daya yang memiliki baik menyangkut sumber daya manusia maupun dari segi pendanaan. Salah satu program yang telah dilaksanakan adalah memberikan penyuluhan kepada peserta didik di SMK Letris Indonesia 1.Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam pelaksanaan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan dalam memberikan edukasi pada peserta didik SMK Letris Indonesia1 dalam berwirausaha. Hasil dari penyuluhan ini diharapkan dapat menumbuhkan minat para peserta didik di SMK Letris 1 dalam berwirausaha karena pada dasarnya lulusan SMK selain bekerja di industri atau melanjutkan studi di jenjang pendidikan tinggi, lulusan SMK juga didorong menjadi wirausaha kreatif. Abstract Research and community service is one of the tasks of universities to provide services to the community covering various areas of life by utilizing, developing and applying science, technology and art as an effort to contribute to the progress of society. This community service activity is in collaboration with Letris Vocational School 1 Indonesia which is located at Villa Bintaro Indah Jl. Kalimantan I, Jombang, District. Ciputat, South Tangerang City, Banten. For the D-III Office Administration Study Program, Pamulang University, especially in carrying out community service activities, it is always adjusted to the resources that are available both in terms of human resources and in terms of funding. One of the programs that has been implemented is providing counseling to students at SMK Letris 1 Indonesia. The goal to be achieved in implementing Community Service (PKM) is to provide training in providing education to SMK Letris 1 students in entrepreneurship. It is hoped that the results of this counseling will foster the interest of students at Letris 1 Vocational School in entrepreneurship because basically, apart from working in industry or continuing their studies at higher education, vocational school graduates are also encouraged to become creative entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Abstract News about the bullying of women is a serious issue that affects the emotional and psychological well-being of victims and can even lead to tragic deaths. However, media coverage is not always objective due to biases in how news is structured and presented. The media frames these cases by emphasizing certain aspects through word choice, narratives, visuals, and perspectives that shape audience understanding. Bias in news framing can influence public opinion and reinforce gender stereotypes. This study analyzes six news reports on the bullying of women in the digital media platform detik.com in 2024 using a qualitative descriptive method and a critical discourse analysis approach based on content analysis. Utilizing Sara Mills' theory, the analysis focuses on three aspects: subject-object positioning, gender roles, and socio-cultural context. The media often reinforces patriarchal dominance by portraying women as passive objects while men are positioned as dominant subjects who control the narrative. This representation reflects the structure of patriarchal power in society, where men have greater control over social discourse, including in the media. As a result, gender inequality continues to be reproduced, positioning women as victims who lose their agency and weakening their ability to confront bullying. Abstract

AbstrakSering kali kita mengeluh atau mendengar keluhan mengenai apa-apa yang disampaikan oleh seorang oembicara. Secara intuisi kita setuju dengan kata-kata yang diucapkannya, tetapi seringkali otak kita menangkap ada pesan-pesan lain dibelakang kata-kata tersebut. Bahkan kita berkesimpulan bahwa maksud si pemvbicara justru kebalikan dari kaliman yang diucapkan. Hal ini dapat terjadi karena penilaian kita berdasarkan evaluasi dari nada, intonasi, tekanan kata atau ekspresi wajah, sikap, gerak tangan, jarak pembicara dan kontak mata – yang mana semua ini adalah simbol-simbol non-verbal atau disebut juga silent language (=bahasa bisu).Kata kunci: Bahasa, Non verbal Komunikasi

ABSTRAKThe Role of Operators in Delivery Service.(This paper is excerpted from the final project report entitled ‘The Role of Media Communication Especially the use of telephone in PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk’)As we know, technology offers much ease to mankind, especially in communication. Without exception, these advantages make breakthrough in restaurant business. Delivery service which is as old as the business itself use telephones in delivering the goods to costumersThe aim of this present paper is to show the frame work of delivery service, the flow of communication and the importance of the professionals persons behind its success .Operators, the Back up and the Riders/Home Delivery have to work as a team. As they are the front line that directly deal with customers, they must demonstrate their professionalism, such as courtesy, on time delivery and making sure that customers are happy their ordering experience.Data for this report was collected from PT Fast Food Indonesia, tbk in BSD square by a student who was directly involved in working as an operator for 3 (three) months. Her experience as an operator had brought her to a better understanding of the whole system of delivery service. With the support from  her supervisor and her colleagues in the restaurant, she managed to get through her exhausted working time. After her valuable and interesting experience,  she decided to share it in a report. The report shows that not only the technology component should be provided but the man power should also be trained for exceptional performance.

AbstractReaching a Qualified Receptionist.(This paper is excerpted from the final project report entitled ‘The Role and Tasks of Receptionist in PT Serim Indonesia)            It is very usual if we walk-in an office, we are greeted by someone who is known as receptionist. A receptionist is an employee taking an office/administrative support position. The work is usually performed in a waiting area such as a lobby orfront office desk of an organization or business. The title "receptionist" is attributed to the person who is employed by an organization to receive orgreet any visitors, patients, or clients and answer telephone calls. Many small-to-large-sized business owners need receptionists for supporting their office activities.The aim of this present paper is to explore the receptionists’ jobs and the criteria to become qualified ones. As they are the front line that directly deal with customers, they must demonstrate their professionalism, such as courtesy, and making sure that customers are feeling welcome on their visiting experience.Nowadays, even when the advancement of office automation has eliminated some receptionists' jobs. (e.g: a telephone call could be answered by an automated attendant). A receptionist who possesses strong office/technical skills and who is also adept in courtesy, tact and diplomacy is still considered an asset to a company's business image, and is still very much in demand in the business world.Kata kunci: Receptionist, petugas kantor depan , staf administrasi.

Abstract

ABSTRAK-Prestasi kerja merupakan salah satu indikator keberhasilan suatuinstansi/lembaga dalam mencapai tujuannya. Sementara itu, prestasi kerja tidak bersifat independen. Keberadaannya sangat dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pencapaian prestasi kerja, lebih tepatnya untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh tingkat pendidikan dan motivasi kerja terhadap prestasi kerja guru pada sekolah-sekolah milik Yayasan Pendidikan Al-Hidayah, Ciputat dengan tingkat pendidikan dan motivasi kerja sebagai variabel bebas dan prestasi kerja guru sebagai variabel terikat. Penelitian dan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Penyajian data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan penganalisisan data menggunakan teknik korelasi. Selanjutnya, secara perhitungan statistik, penulis ingin mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh antara tingkat pendidikan (X1) dan motivasi kerja (X2) sebagai variabel bebas dengan prestasi kerja (Y) sebagai variabel terikat. Kemudian, data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan perhitungan statistik atas kebenaran hipotesis yang diajukan. Adapun hipotesis yang penulis ajukan dalam laporan ini sebagai berikut : 1. Terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara tingkat pendidikan dengan prestasi kerja guru. 2. Terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara motivasi kerja guru dengan prestasi kerja guru. 3. Terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara tingkat pendidikan dan disiplin guru secara bersama-sama dengan prestasi kerja guru. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa dengan pengujian statistik yang dilakukan antara variabel bebas dan variabel terikat menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Pengaruh yang signifikan tersebut adalah pengaruh antara tingkat pendidikan dan motivasi kerja dengan prestasi kerja guru pada Yayasan Pendidikan Al-Hidayah, Ciputat, Tangerang Selatan. Dengan demikian, hipotesis yang diajukan terbukti kebenarannya dan dapat dinyatakan bahwa tingkat pendidikan dan motivasi kerja yang baik dapat meningkatkan prestasi kerja guru yang baik pula. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, Motivasi, Prestasi Kerja  ABSTRACT-Work performance is one of the success indicators an institution/ organization has in achieving its goals.  Meanwhile work performance is not independent. It is influenced by many factors. Therefore this research is written with the aim to understand factors that influence teacher’s work performance, especially to what extend the impact of education level and work motivation as free variable, with that of work performance as bound variable for teachers at the schools that are run by Al-Hidayah education foundation in Ciputat. Research and data collection were implemented by questionnaires, interviews and reviewing documents.  The data was analyzed with correlation techniques and presented descriptive. In addition, the authors want to know statistically if there is any influence between level of education (XI) and     work motivation (X2) as free variable, with work performance (Y) as bound variable.  This statistical analysis was conducted to test the hypothesis that the authors proposed as follow: 1. There is a positive influence between teacher’s level of education with work performance. 2. There is a positive influence between teacher’s work motivation with work performance 3. There is a positive influence between teacher’s level of education and work motivation together with the teacher’s work performance. The authors’ research has proven that the analytical results with statistical test conducted between free and bound variables shows a significant influence. The most significant influence is between teacher’s level of education and work motivation with work performance at Al- Hidayah education foundation Ciputat, South Tangerang. The result confirmed the above hypothesis, it is true that the level of education and good work motivation can also increase teacher’s work performance. Key Words: Education, Motivation, Work performance
